Did she think I wanted it in small pieces? I don't know. SIMPLY BECAUSE I SPOKEN MY SICILIAN DIALECT, GIVEN THIS THREAD THAT UNITES US NORTH AND SOUTH? Mystery! I'll never go again. If I could, I'd give it -100 stars.

12/07/2025: I stopped by to get some takeout pizza and didn't think I'd need to pay to feel sick. The pizza was more like a focaccia, smothered in oil and topped with a reprehensible and aberrant tomato sauce—you either don't put it on or you put it on! Not to mention the sausage on top, cold and, most importantly, raw. An insult to the word pizza.

23/10/2025: One of the best places in Parma and its province for breakfast, an aperitif, or a lunch break! Alberto's pala romana is highly recommended. A must-try!

25/09/2025: Excellent products, both savory (pizzas, focaccias—you'd eat them all) and sweet (the cakes and croissants are both delicious). The coffee is also very good. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming, pleasant, and always tidy.

22/11/2025: We visited this bar this morning, and I have to say that the hospitality is their strong point. We had a croissant, a coffee, and a cappuccino, and the products were undoubtedly top-notch. The atmosphere is slightly dated, but that can be overlooked, as some of the photos on the walls of the dining room suggest a certain connection to the place's past. It's a simple bar, but also emotionally welcoming. Kudos to the owner, who is clearly the soul of the place.

14/12/2025: I'll start by saying that I'm not a local, but I've been coming to Parma for over five years, so I often eat at the many restaurants there. I ate at La Duchessa before it was renovated, and it was my favorite place. Unfortunately, something must have changed after the renovations, but I don't know why. Maybe it even changed management. This evening, we had a reservation at 8:00 PM. We arrived with another family, and no one greeted us. We had to hurry, and finally they took us to a table, which turned out to be already taken. We were left alone for a while, and then a waiter, upon prompting, kindly brought us water. Then they finally took our orders: four appetizers and four pizzas. The appetizers arrived immediately, and we waited over an hour for the pizzas. A table in front of us, who had arrived before us, was still waiting for their pizzas. Ours arrived at 9:45, so a wait of almost two hours. No attention to the customer; the poor waiters were running around, no organization. Perhaps the takeout pizzas contributed to the delay, but the basics of customer service were lacking, and we almost ran away. A truly terrible experience, a shame, because the food is good, but the service is terrible. Luckily, there are plenty of other places where I've been treated well and eaten just as well.

14/12/2025: In the heart of Parma, we dined inside on the ground floor in December and froze to death due to the lack of air conditioning and because our table was near the entrance door, which was always wide open. Despite complaints, no action was taken. The meat and pizza were of average quality, but the tagliata + side dish in particular was overpriced for the portion: just three pieces of meat and two or three pieces of vegetables that hardly qualify as a side dish.

17/12/2025: Price out of all logic for sloppy service, normal food and above all Trento doc served repeatedly hot

17/12/2025: EMBARRASSING! Terrible food, watered-down cocktails. We spent €44 each for an aperitif with a cocktail and four slices of cured meats and focaccia. A steal! I absolutely do not recommend it. For the same price, I would have happily had a full dinner at a very decent restaurant. Adding insult to injury, the "discount" to round up the price by 10 cents.

03/11/2025: Characteristic atmosphere with a classical music theme, excellent quality food, typical local dishes, and the fresh homemade pasta is excellent. It's a shame the door is always open, given the forced walkway from the sidewalk for kitchen service. The staff was friendly, although due to too many customers, the wait for dessert was long. Definitely worth it, even just for a sandwich with excellent cured meats.

19/10/2025: Disgusting place, I had to wait 1 hour and a half for the food and they made a mistake in bringing me the food 5 times, when after an hour and a half the food arrived I found a hair and some mold
