05/03/2024: During work periods I often stopped to eat here with Mr. Giuseppe, an incredibly friendly gentleman and skilled entertainer, now on a pleasure trip because I retired on 02/28 and found it closed and I was very sorry, I hope to be able to return, above all for the delicious dishes but also for the friendliness of the managers and the splendid and very nice waitress Anna, with whom a good friendship had been established......Fernando former driver Dieci 😜😜😜

04/12/2023: I had already been to this place many years ago, for a business dinner, and I had a very good time, and, years later, I see that the quality has remained the same. It's a shame not to have it closer, otherwise, I would stop more often. As soon as possible, I will return.

21/07/2024: We stumbled upon this place by chance and were left with our mouths open and our bellies full. The first courses are truly excellent: the spaghetti with mint and pistachio pesto and the macaroni with sausage sauce are extraordinary. Super friendly service and lunch under the porticoes in the cool air, well done!!!

15/06/2024: Looking for a typical place that also offered something else, I found this tavern located on a side street in the center. Spaghetti alla guitar with pistachio and mint pesto are delicious: the mint note fits perfectly with the pistachio, giving the dish a fresh note. Price: €11. The place is rustic, well kept and welcoming. I recommend eating at the outside tables, weather permitting.

14/07/2024: Exceptional place. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable with a wonderful explanation of all the products they offer. Truly spectacular and refined cured meats accompanied by a truly good fried gnocco. What can I say, a gem discovered by chance, which will surely be an obligatory stop every time you come to Carpi. Well done. Really good!

20/07/2024: Of the fish menu, we were very impressed by the quality of the raw materials and the care taken in the preparation and combinations with other flavours, some of which were new and all delicious. Courtesy, quiet, hospitality and excellent service. Angelo made us feel at home.

15/08/2024: The restaurant itself is lucky enough to be located in a pleasant hilly area and certainly with a beautiful structure and a decent view. Too bad the food is rather mediocre in quality and the service leaves something to be desired. Midweek evening with a group of people, dishes that had to be requested a thousand times to arrive, coffee never arriving so much so that at a certain point we got up to leave because it was now late and we didn't think it was worth continuing to wait. Continuous deafening music in several places, therefore it was rather difficult to communicate with the other diners. Prices definitely overpriced compared to quality and service.

12/08/2024: We booked for the swimming pool and we didn't regret it even after reading some reviews that were too negative in my opinion. There are certainly things that could be improved but overall the Gelso Bianco is a nice location to spend a nice day by the pool.
