07/03/2026: I'm assuming that if it were up to me, I'd never put Pride in any restaurant that offers shift service. I don't like eating by the clock. That said, the pizza dough wasn't cooked through. Table service was quick, but only to the bare minimum.

19/01/2026: Unfortunately, I can't give more stars, but they'd absolutely deserve them! The atmosphere is delightfully original, and the owner's artistic touch makes it unique and stimulates the imagination. The welcome and service are perfect, discreet yet familiar. The food is delicious...the carne salada is excellent and expertly seasoned, the homemade pasta dishes are delicious, the mezzelune with mortadella is amazing, tasty yet delicate...the desserts...the puff pastry with Chantilly cream and salted caramel is excellent. Highly recommended.

27/02/2026: Poor atmosphere, small, we were all crowded together on Via Vignolese, which was truly deplorable. The people who were there didn't even get close to the counter, which wasn't that great. There was also too much confusion, they weren't organised at all.

03/02/2026: Dinner to catch up with old friends, good food, cozy place, 5 seats, 2 pizzas, 1 gluten-free for €10 + €2 supplement, "average" 1 standard Roman pizza, 2 main courses and 1 first course, 2 medium beers and 3 bottles of water, 4 sorbets and a coffee, €125. All good, nothing to complain about, but €25 per person seems excessive, make your own assessments. Paid without any fuss, but it feels more like a farewell than a goodbye.

12/01/2026: A truly lovely place, a well-kept location....the food is excellent, as is the service...we had a wonderful time. There were 12 of us celebrating a 90th birthday. They put us in the room with the fireplace...we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it.

26/02/2026: Castle in a beautiful location, well-maintained, with an internal space where they surely organize events or village festivals in the summer, it also has gardens for nice walks. We were not able to see the castle inside because you have to book the visit!

07/02/2026: In the fine, bright air of a rare sunny day during this rainy winter, we climbed the hill where Montegibbio Castle stands. Five kilometers from Sassuolo, the paved road leads to a half-empty parking lot, just a few meters from an entrance arch leading to a beautiful elliptical courtyard. In the open space, among several satellite buildings, stand the Palazzo del Marchese, the Church, and the Acetaia Comunale di Sassuolo (Municipal Vinegar Factory). The sunset light warms the brick and stone facades. The first bold daisies dot the lawn. This is a "dead" season, and nothing hints at the feverish activity that takes place during the warmer months...except for the many strings of lights strung between one building and the next, testifying to the parties, banquets, and convivial gatherings held here on summer evenings. Now everything is locked, but a welcome sign greets us, in this corner of the ancient world from which we enter the different eras of splendor, abandonment, changes of ownership, and "modern" renovations that in the 19th century reconstructed a semblance of the Middle Ages, lost over the centuries. The castle was built on the estates of Matilda of Canossa, around the year 1000, and today it stands guard over rolling cultivated hills on the edge of the city of Sassuolo. The ancestral and bucolic atmosphere brings visitors an inner tranquility and beautiful views that open onto (if not pristine) spaces that are largely untouched by human activity, a worthy and fascinating setting for this historic residence, lost in a genuine countryside that seems to live in the time of the Lords who have successively ruled these lands. Leaving the courtyard, we enter, along avenues paved with autumn leaves, the park surrounding the castle, with its rolling hills and centuries-old oak trees at the foot of the courtyard itself. It's certainly a rejuvenating place at this time of year, cocooned in its history, gently caressed by the sunset, a jealous guardian of nature's songs. Depending on your personal preferences, you can choose the seasons for beautiful evenings with friends, or visit the Municipal Vinegar Factory, or (for groups of at least 10 people) request a tour of the Marchional Palace.

03/02/2026: Maybe it's because I go back every now and then, for a good glass of wine, then I'm there... an appetizer, a platter, two cheeses. Finally, I sit down at the table and eat... There's always a warm atmosphere, soft music... A must-try if you're in the mountains.

08/01/2026: Great! We went, I think, on Saturday, October 11th. There were five of us, no reservations, and there was only outdoor seating. We were about to leave because some of us were cold, but the owners found a way to accommodate us. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The place is small and quaint, and it's very warm inside. The waitress was kind and super friendly.

14/03/2026: You can't wait two hours for a pizza!! Two hours for a pizza. We arrived at 9 PM and by 11 PM the pizzas still hadn't arrived. I'd say the service could be improved, but otherwise the food was good.

06/03/2026: A wide selection of dishes and pizzas with options for intolerances; I was able to eat a gluten-free pizza, and it was very good 🙂

09/01/2026: Excellent ice cream shop and pastry shop using quality ingredients. For connoisseurs. Very friendly staff.

06/01/2026: 5/6 vegan flavor choices. All obviously fruit-based, except for the dark chocolate. Medium cup, €3.60. The dark chocolate is okay, but nothing special. Not very creamy, almost floury.

29/11/2025: We arrived just before closing time, but despite the hour, we were greeted with a smile and great professionalism. An unexpected gesture, which we truly appreciated. The gelato was an incredible surprise: creamy, rich in flavor, with ingredients that immediately tasted high-quality. Truly one of the best gelatos we've ever had. Every taste confirmed it! A gelato shop absolutely worth a visit: a delightful discovery that we can't wait to return to. Highly recommended!

02/12/2025: A hotel nestled amidst balsamic vineyards, featuring rural buildings typical of the Emilia-Romagna region. Luxurious rooms, each individually decorated with works of art.

15/11/2025: This boutique hotel is home to perhaps Italy's most famous restaurant. Enjoy the same menu in a more intimate setting. The casual atmosphere of a relative's country mansion is complemented by American-style modern art, but it somehow fits perfectly. The balsamic vinegar distillery next door is also a must-see for art lovers, and you can't leave without trying their 25-year-old balsamic vinegar.
