02/02/2025: Locale già frequentato in passato, anche oggi ha confermato gli aspetti positivi che già avevo riscontrato in precedenza: ambiente curato, pulito, caldo (fondamentale per me, nel periodo invernale, mangiare in un ambiente ben riscaldato!), menu con scelta non amplissima, ma piatti fatti bene e gustosi, molto buone le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini. Rapporto qualità-prezzo buono. Una menzione particolare per il cameriere, giovane, molto gentile e disponibile e che, soprattutto, ti accoglie all’entrata e ti segue durante il pasto sempre con un cordiale sorriso, aspetto non sempre scontato! Complimenti a tutto lo staff, torneremo di sicuro!

02/02/2025: A place already frequented in the past, today too it confirmed the positive aspects that I had already found previously: a well-kept, clean, warm environment (essential for me, in the winter period, to eat in a well-heated environment!), menu with not a very wide choice, but dishes made well and tasty, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms very good. Good value for money. A special mention for the waiter, young, very kind and helpful and who, above all, welcomes you at the entrance and follows you during the meal always with a friendly smile, an aspect that is not always taken for granted! Congratulations to all the staff, we will definitely be back!

23/03/2025: Family place with very kind and attentive staff. We ate gnocco and tigelle with mixed cold cuts and cheeses. Everything was truly delicious, especially the gnocco, dry and digestible. Compliments. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu

29/12/2024: Entrata sembra più un bar però dentro bella sala. Il menù non molto vario ma invitante. Ottimo il buffet di antipasti e contorni. (veramente abbondante) il titolare (nonostante sia quasi solo in sala) bravo e sempre attento. I primi molto buoni. La tagliata discreta (per me un po' troppo cotta) il prezzo veramente giusto. Da tornare anche per i borlenghi

For six people at dinner, the menu offers 18 first courses but we are told that it is possible to choose only 3 different first courses per table, something not specified either on the website or on the table menu. The tortelli with a very thick dough and a very dry pumpkin filling are challenging to eat, good balanced macaroni and ragu, deep pasta gnocco, cold cuts, pinzimonio and cheeses nothing to remember with pleasure. But for the first time I found the carvable rubber-effect tigella. I asked if there had been a problem with the rising or baking? The answer was "maybe it's because they've cooled down a bit, we'll heat them up if you want!" Good price, first course, Lambrusco water and coffee €30. I am writing this negative review with regret given that it is a historic trattoria in Carpi. But reviews serve to guide people towards what they want to find.

06/04/2025: Uso questo vecchio detto dialettale per dire che non ci vedra mai piu visto che la sala e tapezzata di queste diciture. In sei a cena il menu propone ben 18 primi ma ci viene detto che e possibile ordinare solo tre differenti primi a tavolo cosa non segnalata ne sul sito ne nel menu al tavolo.I tortelli con una pasta spessissima e un ripieno di zucca ascitto veramente inpegnativi da mangiare,maccheroni al pettine e ragu buoni equilibrati,galletto coniglio mangiabili,gnocco pasta alta affettati pinzimonio e formaggi nulla da ricordare con piacere. Ma per la prima volta nella vita ho trovato la tigella intagliabile effetto gomma. Ho chiesto se ci fosse stato un problema con la lievitazione o la cottura? Mi e stato risposto che forse era perche' si erano un po rafreddate e se lo volevo le avrebbero potuto riscaldarle. Prezzo buono, primo secondo acqua lambrusco e caffe 30€. Veramente una cena triste.

12/04/2025: I ate at BorlenGO tonight and it was all excellent. All 4 of us liked the borlenghi. We tried them traditionally with Modena lard and parmesan, with parmesan and Romagna-style balsamic vinegar, with raw ham, stracchino cheese, rocket and truffle, and then the fried gnocchi with sliced ​​meats, the rice and parmesan fritters were delicious. The homemade desserts were excellent, as was the coffee. Excellent value for money. The place is very nice, well-kept and very clean. I recommend going. I had never eaten borlenghi before and I was super satisfied.

02/12/2024: Ci sono stata anni fa , accompagnavo il moroso a prendere un paio di occhiali da vista. Esperienza unica, è l'unica caffetteria che ricordo ancora a distanza di anni , ricordo il barista preparatissimo , questa scelta di caffè infinita e il sapore del caffè .

20/04/2025: Appena tornati dal pranzo di Pasqua, nessuno ci ha chiesto un "tutto bene?", forse avevano timore? Io che non sono quella a cui piace discutere, mi sono morsicata la lingua ma non ho detto nulla, ora però lo scrivo: NO non è andato tutto bene. Alle 13:05 eravamo seduti al tavolo e alle 15:46 finalmente, dopo attese su attese delle portate, siamo riusciti a terminare il pranzo, che più di un pranzo di Pasqua assomigliava ad uno di quei matrimoni di tanti anni fa. Ci terrei a precisare che si trattava di un menù fisso, quindi già tutto deciso e preparato in precedenza. E allora cos'è successo? Qualche problema in cucina? Forse era il caso di giustificarsi, anche perchè eravamo quasi tutti innervositi e sbuffanti. Altra cosa fastidiosa, che anche altre volte abbiamo riscontrato, è vedere i camerieri che corrono (nel vero senso) mentre si mangia; oggi poi non si poteva vedere...non uscivano le pietanze! Addirittura si sono messi a togliere i bicchieri in un tavolo dove erano ancora tutti seduti...boh?! senza contare i battibecchi tra di loro. Comunque: nonostante non si possa dire di aver mangiato male, sicuramente non ritorneremo a breve perchè in un ristorante ci si va anche per stare bene e non solo per mangiare.

16/04/2025: Pranzo con menù alla carta per quattro persone adulte, un tris di primi formato da: Crespelle al tartufo scandalosa, nella quantità e nella qualità; Una pasta ai funghi, non mantecata, priva di sugo, precotta che risultava calda all’esterno e fredda all’interno; Tortelloni alle noci, non mantecati, con semplice panna sopra e briciole di noci. Le portate sopra descritte avevano come ingrediente principale il sale. Un secondo di carne in umido di verdure che sarebbe risultato anche buono, con bocconcini di carne tenera e verdure ben proporzionate, peccato che anche in questo piatto il sale ne faceva da gusto principale. In quattro persone sono state consumate tre bottiglie di acqua da 0,75 e una di vino, questo evidenzia la salinità delle portate. Ristorante da evitare.

09/03/2025: I had been to this place several times, there was a very kind and polite boy, you could see that he knew how to deal with customers and had an eye for everything, alas, I went back last week I wanted to cry, there is this gentleman in his 70s who goes back and forth, he doesn't take you into account in the slightest, without considering that I saw two customers treated badly as they tried to order by telling them "I'll take care of it, don't bother me", really unprofessional, it's not a place for which I would spend €50 for 2, to be placed next to each other to the fridge.
