The menu may be a little too unique, but overall, it was an unforgettable experience.
07/01/2026: The best restaurant and the best experience. Everything was perfect, the ambiance, the staff and the food and everything was definitely worth its price and justified the interest of the audience. After dinner, we were approached by chef Massimo, who is a very warm person and open to talking to guests. I will definitely be back. Thank you for everything to the entire Francescana Family and greetings from Zagreb.

15/01/2026: A pleasant confirmation. Anyone can work in a restaurant, but the art of hospitality and welcoming guests isn't for everyone. Elio, the manager, is a true host, and together with his staff, they know how to make you feel at ease and enjoy a high-quality dinner with excellent products, expertly presented and prepared. The quality/price ratio is more than fair, the wine list is extensive, and the complimentary entrée with a glass of wine pairing and pre-dessert were very welcome. The restaurant has further improved since my last visit.

10/11/2025: The quality of both food and wine was truly excellent.
We enjoyed every course, from the appetizers to the first courses, to the meat, which was clearly their specialty, cooked to perfection.
A restaurant I highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat well.

Every bite stands out for its quality and flavor. The staff is extremely welcoming, and you can clearly sense the passion they put into their work. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a sweet treat in the city.

A wonderful experience featuring local dishes as warm and welcoming as the staff serving them.
One of the few places where it's difficult to recommend dishes precisely because each one is a treat you won't regret.
The staff is simply wonderful and will help you enjoy an evening you won't soon forget.
If you go, you'll discover you've rarely eaten better!
21/02/2026: It deserves six stars!! The place is quite small (about 40 seats), and it's very difficult to find a table, so you have to book well in advance... but it's a place full of surprising delights. The Modena rosettes are extraordinary, a must-try! The risotto is excellent, and all the desserts are excellent. Absolutely courteous service, and the atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly.

The quality/price ratio is also excellent!

19/09/2025: A very nice gentleman served us, prepared delicious Padina Kebabs, and we received a plate of fries for free, which was a pleasant surprise. We stopped in for a quick bite after visiting the Ferrari Museum, and we didn't regret it. We highly recommend it ❤️😊

12/01/2026: My partner and I ate yesterday after a long break, and unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated. The appetizer was quite good, but the octopus 🐙 was cooked in so much oil that we both felt terrible that night. The nausea hasn't gone away yet. It was too heavy and you could really smell the fried food. I'm sorry, but in a restaurant that's not as cheap as this one, they should pay more attention to the quality of the food.
12/01/2026: A fantastic discovery in the heart of Modena's historic center, in a charming little square. The elegant, well-lit setting and attentive, professional, and very friendly staff make this a truly delightful experience. The dishes are visually stunning, but the tasting experience confirms the haute cuisine, which is further enhanced by the chef's special touch. We enjoyed the green tagliolini with saffron sauce, tuna ragù, pine nuts, and sultanas. The "Zelmira Nest" is a must-try, a triumph of flavor! The desserts are excellent, served in elegant bowls. We'll definitely be returning to this fantastic restaurant.

08/01/2026: A must-visit when in the area, the food is excellent and the friendly atmosphere makes you feel at home. I personally had the tortellini in broth, which were spectacular, and the grilled duck, which was also a real treat.
I recommend it to everyone, especially truffle and mushroom lovers (although you can also order dishes without, like mine).
The price is excellent for what you get, both in terms of quantity and quality.
06/01/2026: The appetizers, first courses, side dishes, and desserts were spectacular!!! Mushrooms, truffles, tortellini...but the meats were special! Guinea fowl, lamb, tartare, tagliata...everything was top-notch. The ingredients were excellent. We didn't stay overnight, as it wasn't far, but we thought about this beautiful location on a snowy Sunday evening...
