12/05/2025: I discovered this pastry shop in Modena and I was really impressed! Typical Modena desserts are simply delicious.
The pastry chef is super cute and friendly, always ready to advise and make customers feel at home.
I highly recommend this pastry shop to anyone visiting Modena and looking to taste the real sweets typical of the area. The pastry chef is truly a special person and makes the shopping experience even more pleasant. I will definitely come back to visit her!

The place is a bit small, but with an outdoor area that accommodates several tables. From the name you will understand that they eat cakes, but not only that, there are also biscuits and various delicacies.
The cakes are special and very good. Or, of course, there is also a bar service with coffee, ginseng and various drinks. Excellent service and friendly staff. A good place to refresh and rest.

27/04/2025: These days, a lot of fine dining feels totally out of touch with the real world. But Osteria Francescana is different. It’s real. It’s a reminder that food can still mean something deeper.
Chef Massimo Bottura isn’t just a genius in the kitchen — he’s one of the most humble, inspiring people we’ve ever met. Every dish he and the team sent out was a message, a conversation about everything we take for granted. Every plate was insane in flavor, but it also hit you in the heart. It was a quiet rebellion against excess, a reminder that nothing should be wasted, and everything has value.
The kitchen runs almost completely zero-waste. Ingredients are sourced hyper-locally, and you can feel the respect for every farmer, every fisher, and every piece of the chain.
And despite the three Michelin stars, the global fame, and the massive respect he gets he spent more time talking about his community soup kitchen projects around the world than about himself. That says it all.
We left not only feeling full and tipsy with amazing wine pairings but also super inspired. Meeting Massimo was a reminder that you can be at the very top of your game and still stay grounded, kind, and completely focused on what matters.
Our family is beyond grateful to have had this experience. We’ll be carrying it with us for a long time.

The food is quality: especially the meat, but also the first courses, the gnocco and the tigelle and the cold cuts are excellent;
the service was perfect: the waiters are friendly and very nice;
and the place is a real gem: it is furnished in a truly original way, a bit in pub style.
A great discovery!!!

Excellent cuisine with a good à la carte menu (with the addition of off-menu options) with good quality and very well used raw materials. Very friendly service at any time. Very very very recommended

Antipasto degustazione caldo ottimo con tutti assaggi non banali Gamberi in tempura tonno su purea di ceci capasanta e seppia in farina gialla. Ottimo e un piatto da condividere in due
Due primi particolari. Risotto cacio e pepe con gamberi e tartare di gamberi e caviale e spaghetti e al cantabrico con parmigiano. Tutto molto buono
Come secondo abbiamo condiviso un baccalà eccezionale. Tutto veramente buono e abbondante ( e siamo dei mangiatori)
Ottimi anche i liquori offerti in particolare modo quello all arancia.

13/04/2025: Bella location alle porte di Modena. Sala grande molto accogliente: arredi, piante e vetrine che si adattano molto bene all'ambiente. Ottima accoglienza del personale. Servizio efficiente e curato. Buonissimi i piatti dall'antipasto ai secondi: materie di prima qualità e presentazione super. Piatti abbondanti. Interessante la disposizione delle bottiglie di vino. Da ritornare anche in estate per il bel giardino ed il laghetto.

24/04/2025: Today we had lunch in this Osteria which was recommended to us by friends. Very welcoming place, essential, elegant furnishings, with bottles of wine displayed in beautiful niches. Once inside you forget that you are on Via Circonvallazione in Sassuolo. The atmosphere, the background music, the young waitresses are just some of the elements that make you feel like you are in another place. The courses are very carefully prepared, fresh food and expertly mixed with harmony of flavors and colours. A note of merit to Mr. Fabio who stands out for his courtesy and professionalism in the dining room. thank you we will definitely be back.
