28/02/2026: Three Michelin stars, world-class aspirations – and a luncheon brimming with high expectations. Osteria Francescana promises Mediterranean-influenced, internationally inspired Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, the dishes largely lacked the "sapori d'Italia" – the familiar flavors of basil, garlic, rosemary, and olive oil. The concept, which Bottura himself describes so passionately, and the dining experience didn't quite align this time.
All the more impressive, however, was the service: exceptionally courteous, attentive, and absolutely top-notch – simply perfect. A team that lives up to the restaurant's reputation in every respect.

28/12/2025: This cake shop has become a regular stop for me in Modena. The cakes are excellent, rooted in tradition yet reinterpreted with creativity and great care. Every bite stands out for its quality and flavor. The staff is extremely welcoming, and you can clearly sense the passion they put into their work. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a sweet treat in the city.

We enjoyed every course, from the appetizers to the first courses, to the meat, which was clearly their specialty, cooked to perfection.
A restaurant I highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat well.

A wonderful experience featuring local dishes as warm and welcoming as the staff serving them.
One of the few places where it's difficult to recommend dishes precisely because each one is a treat you won't regret.
The staff is simply wonderful and will help you enjoy an evening you won't soon forget.
If you go, you'll discover you've rarely eaten better!
21/02/2026: It deserves six stars!! The place is quite small (about 40 seats), and it's very difficult to find a table, so you have to book well in advance... but it's a place full of surprising delights. The Modena rosettes are extraordinary, a must-try! The risotto is excellent, and all the desserts are excellent. Absolutely courteous service, and the atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly.

19/09/2025: A very nice gentleman served us, prepared delicious Padina Kebabs, and we received a plate of fries for free, which was a pleasant surprise. We stopped in for a quick bite after visiting the Ferrari Museum, and we didn't regret it. We highly recommend it ❤️😊

The quality/price ratio is also excellent!

08/01/2026: A must-visit when in the area, the food is excellent and the friendly atmosphere makes you feel at home. I personally had the tortellini in broth, which were spectacular, and the grilled duck, which was also a real treat.
I recommend it to everyone, especially truffle and mushroom lovers (although you can also order dishes without, like mine).
The price is excellent for what you get, both in terms of quantity and quality.
06/01/2026: The appetizers, first courses, side dishes, and desserts were spectacular!!! Mushrooms, truffles, tortellini...but the meats were special! Guinea fowl, lamb, tartare, tagliata...everything was top-notch. The ingredients were excellent. We didn't stay overnight, as it wasn't far, but we thought about this beautiful location on a snowy Sunday evening...

25/02/2026: The food was very good. I ordered a Taste of Sea and the seafood was fresh and tasty. I ordered Tortellini with Parmesan sauce, but it wasn't al dente. The service is average, however, the manager/Maître d' was very cordial and attentive, gave me a complimentary digestif, and made the right choice with the wine, which was very good. The atmosphere is pleasant but not exciting. Easy parking, I recommend making a reservation.

07/02/2026: I was looking for a place to get some excellent takeout pasta, and Vecchia Lama didn't disappoint. I ordered tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (€10), macaroni with white ragù (€9), and fried porcini mushrooms (€9), and I really couldn't say which I liked better. The handmade pasta, Apennine mushrooms, and locally raised pork ragù made the meal truly exceptional. I can't rate the service, but the owner was very kind. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the portions could have been a little larger for the price. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the authentic Tuscan-Emilian Apennines' zero-mile produce.
26/01/2026: We had lunch at this beautiful restaurant for a baptism and were pampered from start to finish. The dishes were prepared with great care, using quality ingredients, and the entire staff was friendly. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes. Well done! 🔝✨️
