22/01/2026: Terrible experience. Disappointing dinner. I remembered a great dinner a year ago and went in by mistake. Never again. The problem is the food. The waiter was great, professional, and kind. When someone finally arrived, it was absolutely freezing at the register, and luckily they didn't ask me how it went... I've attached a photo. Please consider whoever reads this if they've seen the huge grill we paid for, covered in breadcrumbs and oil and still very dry.

16/11/2025: Perfect stop at Valservice! During a trip, I chose Valservice for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Fresh, flavorful dishes, including some ethnic options. The takeout option is also excellent, convenient and well-packaged. Quick service, friendly staff, and fair prices. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good, quick meal!

04/03/2026: The pizza (Margherita) was good but the fact that you can't eat there or they charge you if you want to eat there, isn't very nice. At least a small area for the people who want to eat fast and go...

28/02/2026: Good pizza and really reasonable prices, but why is everyone SO nervous??? They send you here, they send you there, you can't stay here, you can't sit there (a broken plastic bench), no bathroom... can everyone calm down?

31/07/2025: Esperienza unica, davvero eccellente. Un amico che vive a Bologna mi ha consigliato questo "posto magico" Cosa posso dire? Ho mangiato una carne (produzione propria) spettacolare, meglio di Firenze (sono amante della carne). Ottima carta dei vini e un ottimo Gin Tonic per concludere la serata. La padrona di casa e il suo staff vi accolgono in modo caloroso, davvero vi sentite a casa. Quindi, non manca proprio nulla, prodotti e staff da 10&lode. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti!

17/03/2026: I went there for the first time, one morning in March 2026. I had lunch, even going back for seconds. A liter bottle of water. Coffee included. €15. The restaurant was almost full.

15/02/2026: We were passing through and stumbled upon this simple trattoria with delicious dishes, especially the tagliatelle with ragù and crescentine. The staff were kind and welcoming; we loved it so much that on our return trip, we decided to stop by again! I absolutely recommend it.

04/12/2025: Historic place. Absolutely worth a visit. Unfortunately, this review is out of date! Today I saw obvious deterioration! Poor and sloppy service... It almost seems like it's changed management, but for the worse! Much worse!

03/12/2025: I've been going to Zanarini's for ten years, but today something surprising happened. When I asked if the traditional panettone contained almonds, the saleswoman started talking loudly, saying that someone had even fainted in front of her because of it, and maintaining that, even though it's not indicated, almonds "are everywhere." She then walked away, leaving me with the product in hand, to discuss the matter with another colleague while laughing. When she returned to speak to another customer, I pointed out that certain information can be shared without being so aggressive. Her response was, "That's just how I am." I'd rather not comment... That said, the panettone—both traditional and chocolate—is delicious, as are the coffees. It's still a must-visit every time I return to Bologna.

21/03/2026: The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. The airport shuttle only runs in the morning and evening, so if you arrive in the afternoon, you'll have to take a bus or taxi. The room was clean and basic, but the safe didn't work, the minibar was empty (just two bottles of water), and the malfunctioning air conditioning fan was extremely loud at night. The price was high and the service was terrible. We even had to carry our bags ourselves on the airport shuttle while the driver watched us. Highly recommended!!! Never again!

15/09/2025: Overall, a positive experience (though not exceptional). The rooms, while not "fresh," were still nice and spacious, with a view, at least those not facing the main road. We had a good dinner, although the menu wasn't extensively varied, but it was certainly sufficient in terms of variety. Breakfast didn't live up to the dinner standard; the quality was mediocre. The owners were friendly and helpful, as was the woman we found waiting tables in the morning; it's a shame the same can't be said for the person who served us at dinner (really rude, impolite, and rude)—a real boor.

22/08/2025: I stopped in for dinner after a business dinner. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was good, with homemade pasta dishes. I highly recommend the location, which offers a beautiful view while dining on the terrace.

03/10/2025: Every year I go to Bologna and buy tortellini in this shop. The quality, goodness and kindness are super typical of true Bolognese people.

29/09/2025: Sadly the truffle tortellini tasted really sour and did not have - to us - a typical truffle taste. We have not tried them before, so not sure how they are supposed to taste, but we definitely did not enjoy them.

07/06/2025: I ordered a pizza peel to take out. It arrived promptly, but the delivery man showed up without change and charged me €28 for a pizza peel with half a potato and sausage, plus zucchini flowers. He also didn't have the receipt with him, so he tried calling the pizzeria and asking for a different price than the one they set. Instead of the €10 listed on the menu, he charged me €18.
