Goos pizza but ths knives are uhh..yoi need to get tham sharp..

Very good pizza baked in a wood-fired oven, tons of people, and the waiter was flying like a jet. I didn't expect such good pizza and corretto at an airport at such an affordable price.

Great food but with almost no attention to the customer

The famous restaurant at Bologna airport has seen a slight decline in the quality of its food and service compared to the past. It gets very crowded during peak flight hours.

Today we tried their pizza margherita and it was fairly good! It wasn’t the best one that i have ever tried, but the service and the atmosphere were good! Also, their pizza Margherita was delicious! Considering the location, Vecchia Malga offers good pizza with fair prices in the airport!

Vecchia Malga was a genuine delight—especially for someone like me who travels frequently and rarely expects to find a decent meal at an airport. This is a solid Italian option, particularly when it comes to Neapolitan pizza. The restaurant is AVPN-certified (No. 525) and operates a wood-fired Valoriani oven. Wood-fired ovens offer the most authentic experience, but they are the most challenging to manage due to uneven heat distribution. However, the pizzaiolos here are highly skilled, consistently baking pizzas evenly without charring either the base or the cornicione(puffy outer rim) closest to the flame. We ordered four pizzas over two days, and each one met this standard. Prices are reasonable, and the service is attentive and efficient. One minor drawback is that only certain meat toppings—such as Parma ham (DOP) and mortadella (IGP)—have protected designation status. The cheeses (fior di latte and mozzarella) and tomatoes (including piennolo) are not DOP-certified. That said, considering this is an airport dining option, it would be overly critical to dwell on these details. Having flown through Venice, Milan Bergamo, and Rome multiple times, I can confidently say this is the best airport food I’ve encountered in Italy—and arguably the best I’ve seen anywhere in continental Europe. - Their burger option was not on par with the Italian food options. The meat patty was too lean and firm. -They also sell packaged cured meat and cheese products.

Decent pizzeria for a pizza at the airport, reasonable prices.

Located inside the airport, this place offers amazing pizza and excellent service! Truly delicious pizza and spectacular service! Compliments for everything!!!

The pizza is really good! The prices are very reasonable for an airport restaurant. When I went, it wasn't very crowded, so I didn't wait long, contrary to what some reviews say. If you have time and want to eat well, this is definitely a must-try!
