21/07/2025: I went into this bar one morning with my mother, where I had been before, and at the register we got a receipt for two coffees and a croissant. At the register there was no one else in line besides the two of us. My mother asked the cashier if it was possible to have the croissant cut in half. She took the plate with the croissant and went to cut it, then thought better of it, came back and said to us: "I don't have a cutting board and I don't have a knife, you do it yourselves." And she slammed the plate with the croissant on the glass shelf to give us the change for the cash. Then my mother asked the guy who was working at the coffee machine who replied: "Of course, ma'am, I'll cut it for you!" He took the plate, went to cut the croissant and brought it back to us. I know him well, he's always kind, polite and nice. I also know the woman at the register because she always worked in a bar before and always with her rude ways. The bar where she worked has closed and changed management. I hope the Principe bar doesn't close too. Obviously, as long as she works there, I won't set foot in there again.

11/07/2025: €1.80 for a filled pasta (normal cream. 🙄) seems a bit high to me. If the quality seemed average to me, then I'd prefer to go somewhere else where I either spend less or eat better.

14/07/2025: Siamo capitati un po' per caso a cena in questa baracchina, che conoscevamo solo per l'ottimo gelato, e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti! Abbiamo preso due pinse croccanti e sugose, da 10 e lode, ed un piatto di pasta fresca eccellente! Torneremo sicuramente! L'ambiente informale e sereno ben si sposa con la simpatia dei proprietari.

11/08/2025: We had lunch on Sunday 10th August and I have to say that the food was truly excellent, the chestnut gnocchi were delicious, the tagliata with porcini mushrooms were exceptional, the dessert was equally good, the prices were fair, we will be back.

19/08/2025: This restaurant offers a true gastronomic feast! You have to be prepared to eat so many dishes. This "festival" of appetizers is enough to fill you up and have tried a huge variety of Italian dishes. After all these appetizers, they offer the first course and the second course, but ordering them isn't mandatory. On the contrary, it's unnecessary. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

18/07/2025: On recommendation, I ended up at Fabio's with my husband and two sons. It's unusual that you have to ring the bell right at the entrance. A small sign explains the restaurant's concept, but we didn't notice. However, the waiter then verbally informed us that ALL appetizers would be served and we could sample our way through until we said stop. The flat rate per person for appetizers was €35. The table was heaving, and it was clear that a lot of it was going back to the kitchen. Everything was generally good, but we would never have ordered all the offerings. There wasn't anything particularly special either. If you just want to try everything, this is the place for you. It would be interesting to know what happens to all the leftovers? Afterwards, you order pasta or meat/fish, depending on your taste and the space you still have in your stomach. We opted for pici al ragu, which were very good (reasonably priced). Dessert (if you can still manage it) follows the same principle as the appetizers. Except for the mascarpone cream, however, there were no highlights. Only towards the end of our meal did three more guests arrive. I wouldn't go back. The price-performance ratio isn't right for me. Essentially an all-you-can-eat concept with service – will that be a hit?

17/08/2025: We ordered one espresso machiatto and two golden milks. We received one plain espresso and two golden milks, one lighter than the other 🤔🤨 and not hot at all! Warning: tap water is €4 a carafe 🙄🙄🙄 We should have known because their terrace was empty, unlike the others. Never again!

18/08/2025: The food was good. Service was very attentive despite the language barrier. The atmosphere was like a snack bar, exactly as described. So everything was OK. We would eat there again next time we pass through.

13/08/2025: It's a wish I could, but I can't... The guy who served us struggled to understand Italian, and in fact, the order he brought us was wrong. Having overcome that problem, we can only say that the piadinas we ordered weren't bad, but they were half-empty.

21/05/2025: Farmhouse with grassy courtyard with pens for farmyard animals, can be a good place for groups with many children who have the opportunity to play while the families eat. Apart from that the place has a tiny parking lot, absolutely inadequate for the amount of tables and people it can accommodate, the whole thing is perched on a really narrow road and there is no way to maneuver without the help of the owner. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the food is not particularly good, almost everything seems to be made with crescent dough and cooked very quickly. The dessert, a crescenta meal with cream, is semi-raw. The appetizers are always half-empty crescenta. If you leave out the advantage of the garden for children, there is not much left. Overall it remains cheap.

15/04/2025: Non abbiamo mangiato male, i prezzi in generale sono un po' altini... sia delle bevande che dei piatti. Ma la cosa piu' scandalosa e' 15 euro per un piattino di biscotti secchi.... Abbiamo chiesto se per caso fosse un errore, e serenamente ci hanno detto NO!

25/02/2025: Bellissimo localino sotto i portici di Via San Felice, caratteristico e gestito davvero come una osteria, non solo nel nome. Davvero invitante per la tipologia di locale, gestito in maniera attenta e gradevole, con il titolare, si suppone il buon Mario, che gira tra i tavoli dispensando consigli, versando vino e raccontando i piatti. Cucina di buon livello, taglieri enormi di salumi, piadine e crescentia rigorosamente calde, una buona fornitura di vini e primi tradizionali e ben fatti. Ho assaggiato i tortellini cotti nel brodo e serviti col ragù alla bolognese, uno ottimo equilibrio ed una buona esplosione di sapori, con tanto di grattugiata di parmigiano fatta al momento dall'oste. Il menù offre buone opzioni, anche per vegetariani (non tanta roba ma qualcosa c'è) e all'apparenza sarebbe tutto perfetto; purtroppo c'è un limite, che non sono gli spazi ridotti del locale che, anzi, rendono il tutto persino più caratteristico, ma la gestione del conto. Al netto del fatto di non offrire un menù cartaceo (c'è giusto una lavagna all'esterno, all'ingresso, che riporta alcuni piatti prezzati) e di rendere difficoltoso conoscere tutti i costi, alcuni prezzi sono davvero importanti. I vini (anche quelli più "basici") e il coperto (3.5€) risultano decisamente importanti come costo e questo andrebbe segnalato; alla fine, con due taglieri divisi in gruppo, un primo a testa, caffè e amaro si è arrivati a 45 euro. Nulla di scandaloso considerando anche la posizione, ma l'idea di essere in una trattoria "alla mano" tradisce le aspettative se persino l'acqua arriva a 4€ a bottiglia. Prezzi poco trasparenti rendono l'esperienza un tantino sconveniente rispetto all'offerta ma è sicuramente un posto dove stare bene.

28/02/2025: Locale carino, grigliata abbondante, abbiamo mangiato bene e soprattutto da provare assolutamente i dolci che sono originali e molto buoni. Consigliatissimo!

22/08/2025: we had nice cornetto & Cappuccino,nice place, nice vibe but one of the staff a women with red hair ignore us completely while she is free and standing next to us and she refused to talk with us for 5 minutes, thank god the other staff who brought us cappuccino is a very polite girl with a glass and lovely behavior. the quality of cornetto is perfect but i give the 2 stars. 2star for the nice girl 1 star for cornetto

18/08/2025: Two stars only for the efforts of the very kind girl at the counter. With 35 degrees Celsius in August, the air conditioning off, and the doors closed... it was awful...
