22/03/2026: As a celiac, I highly recommend it. I had a generous plate of delicious tortellini in broth, and the desserts in particular are gluten-free... really fresh and delicious. Not to mention the kindness of the wait staff. A pleasant dinner.

Ricardo was very friendly and fun to talk to, and he shared the family history of the place, which goes back many generations. It made the experience feel very special and personal. Great vibes all around — highly recommended.

11/03/2026: Lunch. A simple word for a complex trauma. Janey and I—Janey is the wife, she’s the one in the sensible shoes—had just completed the trek to St. Luca. A pilgrimage of sheer, unadulterated verticality. We ascended through the porticos—six hundred and sixty-six arches of infinite, repetitive stone. It is, I am told, the longest covered walkway on this terrestrial sphere, and by the four-hundredth arch, it feels like a marathon designed by a particularly sadistic monk. A colonnaded tunnel of lactic acid and regret. ​We collapsed into Da Cesari. We began with the Romagnolo. Twenty-four months. Cervia salt. It was... brave. It had the saltiness of a jilted sea captain. We shared it, in the way one shares a secret or a contagious disease. ​Then, for me, the Green Gramignone. Veridian spirals. Twirls of emerald hope. Drowned in a sausage ragù that spoke of ancient, earthy truths. It was—dare I say it—seminal. The greatest pasta to ever grace a porcelain disk. ​Janey had something else. Something... quiet. I don't recall. I’ve erased her plate from my memory banks to make room for the ragù. One must curate one's experiences, mustn't one? Everything else is merely... chaff."

06/03/2026: The best meals we had during this stay. The ladies were incredibly friendly and kind, always available for a chat. Especially the lady (who, from what I understand, is the daughter of the original owners), who also recommended where to buy good dairy products in the area. The food was truly impeccable: crescentine like I'd never tasted before, accompanied by spectacular cured meats, but above all, the PECORINO. The latter was divine, so much so that I had to ask where it came from to buy at least a couple of wheels. On top of that, I had the opportunity to try the passatelli with truffle (on my second visit), which, honestly, was the best dish I had during my entire stay. What can I say, it will be a must-try on my travels from now on!

28/03/2026: It's worth stopping by, seriously. I was only able to photograph a portion of the windows because on a Saturday morning at 8:00 the place was starting to attract customers, but aside from a few moments of waiting, I have to say that there's truly an embarrassment of choice. If I may offer one piece of advice, I think the window display needs rethinking. With the increasing crowds, you often can't see the selection until you reach the lady who's about to serve you. I find it impractical, and it's a shame that every gem doesn't have a chance to be seen. Whether we're talking about tarts, savory options, or classic brioches. My sister and I had a pan au chocolat and a saccottino (both truly enormous!), with a soy cappuccino and a latte (oat) macchiato. I can't say it was my cheapest breakfast, but the quality ingredients and the effort put in make it feel like an undeniable value for money. I think it was truly a delicious treat.

07/03/2026: A very spacious and modern café in Formigine, with a lovely outdoor area. A wide selection of both sweet and savory items: a truly inviting and well-organized display. The croissants and pizza are excellent, and the cappuccino is also very well-executed.

13/03/2026: I returned to Baggiovara for work, and given my more than positive first experience, I returned to this restaurant for lunch. It was just as I remembered: delicious food and friendly staff. I spent €14.50 for two excellent fried gnocchi with Parma ham, a generous plate of gramigna sausage and peas, half a glass of water, and a coffee. The table setting was comfortable and the atmosphere pleasant. Highly recommended for a business lunch, but also for evenings with friends.

The service was simply perfect: attentive, friendly, and professional, always with a smile. 27/03/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and the experience was truly superb. The dishes are meticulously prepared, and the high-quality ingredients are clearly evident. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, just as the name suggests: you truly feel at home. One aspect that makes the experience even more enjoyable is the owner's presence: always engaging, attentive, and helpful, capable of conveying all the passion she puts into her work. It's a place I return to regularly when I want to eat well and feel at home. A restaurant I absolutely recommend!

24/02/2026: Beautiful, good, with courteous and friendly staff. The only flaw was that there were no gluten-free desserts, and I really wanted some. What a shame.

08/03/2026: Had dinner with friends. Plenty of parking, the entrance to the restaurant is not very visible. The welcome was warm and welcoming, the atmosphere rustic and welcoming. The traditional menu offered a choice of meat and a fish option that I found very good. The bottle of wine at our table was served as a regular drink without the usual tasting, unlike the table next to us. I liked the flavor of the dishes. I did note that the pasta was perhaps a little undercooked, and a little more quantity wouldn't have bothered. The dessert was very good. Overall, the value for money was good. We'll be back.

We had a wonderful dinner: carefully prepared, plentiful, tasty dishes with a wide selection. The atmosphere among the team is very relaxed, making customers feel at ease. 09/01/2026: I attended the Stomboli party a few nights ago. The atmosphere and entertainment provided by the good old Eddy were fine, but otherwise, let's leave it at that. €45 for a low-quality dinner (unlimited wine was just a decoy) and a very questionable bingo game. You can't call numbers during the songs or while people are eating (people missed half of them...). There's also a lot to say about the prizes... everything is strictly for consumption at their place. I'm giving it 5 stars only because of their marketing strategy, which always draws in tons of people.

10/03/2026: Exceptional food, incredible service and hospitality, and a selection of wines and drinks that rivals even the best wineries and wine bars. Personally, it's become a regular stop whenever I want to eat and drink well. The staff is truly the highlight of the place: well-organized, helpful, fast, and always courteous!
