A clean, quaint restaurant just behind the Castle.
The menu features a few local dishes, and it was good, although we weren't thrilled with the dessert (tererina cake).

I went to dinner at this restaurant with my family on Easter Eve. It's a very nice and homey place: it feels like dinner at a friend's house. The owner and his family are very kind and engaging. The traditional Ferrarese dishes are very good, and the prices are in line with the offerings. Well done!!!

It was a wonderful discovery, a small but very comfortable place with attentive and polite service. Since we were with our dog, they reserved a very quiet spot for us. If you have a dog, reservations are recommended. Kudos to the kitchen; everything was delicious. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is very welcoming and familiar, and the service is attentive and fast, but we weren't crazy about the food: the pasta was too al dente and disconnected from the sauce, and in general the first and second courses used too much oil (not even a very good one). It's a shame.
