23/11/2025: Excellent welcome, the lady expressed warmth and friendliness upon our arrival, as if we were at home!! We started with a platter of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by torta frittata, polenta, and gorgonzola—excellent quality. We finished with excellent tortelli and lasagna. Tradition, quality, and friendliness accompanied our Sunday outing. Highly recommended!

06/11/2025: I chose this place because of the popular TV show. Expectations were already promising, but the reality is much better. The lady is a true hostess, welcoming guests with warmth and friendliness, and you can sense the pride and passion behind their culinary offerings. The food is exquisite, using quality ingredients, and the dishes are expertly prepared, as tradition dictates.

03/12/2025: A very welcoming place. We went on a Wednesday at noon, and it wasn't crowded. The manager was very friendly and unobtrusive. Very good food, no frills but well-prepared. Very good.

01/12/2025: I ate well, but my companions didn't. Tagliatelle with wild boar: the sauce was excellent, but the pasta was completely torn into squares, and very little. The mutton was raw, and the fries were greasy and salty. The location was neglected, the scenery beautiful. I wouldn't return under these conditions.

14/11/2025: I dined at this restaurant last night and had a truly positive experience. The service was excellent: the staff was friendly, attentive, and well-coordinated. I'd just like to point out two small details, which don't affect the overall rating in the slightest but could serve as a starting point for improvement: • The table was cleaned between courses: there were some crumbs that would have been better removed before dessert. • The wine cooler placed directly on the tablecloth left a damp stain; a small plate with a napkin underneath would have been enough to avoid this problem. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Congratulations indeed: a well-deserved five stars, and I will definitely continue to return.

03/09/2025: This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. We found it purely by chance as we were staying across the road and our hotel recommended. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible and the wine selection was as you can imagine, superb. The decor in the restaurant is stunning ! Thank you for a really lovely experience ❤️

Enjoy the moment, it's not a place you rush to; on the contrary, relaxation and taste are the two key words. Eight of us were welcomed... that wasn't expected. Excellent value. We ate very well! Recommended, we'll be back.

08/11/2025: Nice place and good wine. Unfortunately, I don't know if it's because of our age or the fact that we were obviously less wealthy than the other customers (or if they treat everyone like that), the friend I went with and I received pretty terrible service: no one came to ask us anything, they didn't bring us what we ordered, and the cutlery they gave us was dirty. One of the platters (which weren't generously portioned, by the way) even had cheese with a crust that looks like it's left out in the open. Furthermore, the bill was significantly different from the menu (the food was clearly priced; the wine isn't listed on the menu and was actually reasonably priced). It's a difference of about ten euros, so we didn't complain, but on a bill of about fifty...

07/09/2025: Last night I went to pick up some takeout pizzas, and during the very short wait I had the pleasure of talking with Simon, the owner, about gin, and in particular the huge variety available at Piccardy. Simon gave me some very interesting and intriguing tips on the different gins—what a connoisseur! Next time I'll try pairing the fantastic HD pizzas with one of the various gin and tonics they offer! 07/09/2025: "A very basic place in Sestola. I honestly don't understand all the rave reviews. The wait was interminable: over an hour just to serve three starters. The service was slow and inattentive, and the prices were high for the quality. The food was bland, and nothing to justify the price. Disappointing experience: I wouldn't recommend it.

22/11/2025: We had a great time and the food was equally good. Two minor sins: they didn't bring bread (okay, I could have asked for it, so it was a minor sin) and the pork shank wasn't very hot. But it's worth the detour. Highly recommended.

We chose the five-course Ikygai menu, an Asian-inspired experience that perfectly balances the creativity of chef Salvatore Morello and the incredible quality of the ingredients. Each dish was a constant surprise: elegant, meticulously crafted, and crafted with great technique. From the entrée to the dessert, each course was a small masterpiece, with interplays of textures and aromas reminiscent of Japan, China, and Southeast Asia, yet always with a profoundly Italian soul. We also chose the wine pairing, and I must say it was an extraordinary added value: the sommelier guided us with expertise and passion, suggesting wines that perfectly complemented the dishes—never boring, always surprising. Each wine told a story and brought out the best in the flavors of the menu. The dining room staff was impeccable: professional but never stiff, smiling, highly trained, and capable of making you feel completely at ease in a refined setting. Top-notch service, perfect timing, and constant attention without ever being intrusive. The setting is modern and elegant, with an atmosphere that exudes calm and harmony, perfect for enjoying a top-notch gastronomic experience. In short: an experience of taste and hospitality at the highest levels, where every detail is attended to with passion and expertise. A journey I recommend to anyone who loves signature cuisine and wants to experience an authentic experience, between Asia and Italy.

03/12/2025: A wonderful experience in a typical mountain setting in Vesale, a quiet village in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines on the slopes of Mount Cimone. A "succulent" food and wine journey was recommended by Alessandro (the manager/owner), who is friendly, helpful, kind, and professional. Excellent and hearty dishes, starting with the appetizers: tartar made with excellent beef typical of the nearby pastures, with mushrooms and truffles, tasty local cheeses, and finally tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles, all paired with an excellent Sangiovese. A special thanks to the staff: the charming Vera, a professional and kind waitress; the chef Marco; and Commendatore Tony, who won me over in the morning with a delicious breakfast. Everything was wonderful, even sleeping in a clean and quiet room. I'll be back soon. Good luck and see you soon. 👋
