31/03/2025: Family dinner. The external appearance of the restaurant doesn't say much, but the interior is refined and quite sophisticated. The food is naturally of high quality (even if in some dishes the quantity is truly "starred") the service is good, very kind towards my wife who was celebrating her birthday, perhaps a few more smiles would be better.

27/04/2025: Parto dall’ambiente del locale: ricco di storia, vivo e curato (tavoli un po’ accalcati… ma ci sta!); servizio accogliente e competente; cucina di eccellente qualità sia nella scelta delle materie prime, sia nell’esecuzione dei piatti: fritti croccanti, passatelli allé vongole da volare via, calamari con carciofi e per dessert un’ incredibile mousse di pera, crema squacquerone e olio EVO… da provare! Ahhh dimenticavo: conto molto onesto

09/04/2025: Ristorante molto carino e curato. Menù ricercato e originale. Abbiamo ordinato alcuni antipasti (tataki di tonno, capesante e alici fritte), risotto e tagliatelle allo scoglio e il dolce finale (mascarpone e cannoli). Tutto buono e ben servito ma forse le quantità un po’ scarsine con prezzi un po’ altini.

26/04/2025: Historic place that offers a varied, well-maintained menu, meat that comes from the Ceresi butcher's shop, the cut was very tender and with nothing left to waste...,, several very interesting first courses, attentive and courteous service.

23/04/2025: The cuisine is really excellent. But what really made it a wonderful evening for us was that we were treated so kindly. When it was clear that my Italian wasn't enough, the waiter showed us the menu in English and explained everything. Very good food, very nice wine selection, top service. We loved it and will try to come back.

25/04/2025: We had lunch and we can't help but compliment the excellent food, fresh fish and everything made on the spot. Fast service but careful not to let you miss anything. The zuppa inglese made the way my mother used to make it...an additional delicacy enjoyed at the end of lunch. If we return to Ravenna we will be happy to be able to enjoy the cuisine of Il Paiolo, we command everyone's time.

24/02/2025: Osteria Callegherie Locale accogliente e rilassante Servizio eccellente ed avvolgente Cucina sfiziosa e sorprendente E.......se poi in questa cucina entri di soppiatto evitando la comanda e ti appoggi ai consigli giornalieri dello chef,il tutto diventa insuperabile. 18/04/2025: Mittlerweile mein 5. Besuch. Es ist wie ein Stammlokal geworden. Eintreten, freundliche Begrüßung durch den Wirt Franco und sich sofort wohlfühlen. Gibt es ein besseres Lob für eine Gastwirtschaft? Wie immer vorab per E-Mail reserviert, klappt schnell und unkompliziert. Diesmal hatte ich Lust eine typisch bayerische Spezialität, Schweinshaxe, in der italienischen Version zu probieren. Dazu Weißbier aus meinem Heimatort. Italienisch-bayerische Liason in Reinkultur. Gut, jetzt kann man denken was soll die Verrückheit in einer Osteria ausgerechnet so etwas zu bestellen. Aber wenn es auf der Speisenkarte als Gericht nur auf Vorbestellung steht, warum nicht? Einen Versuch ist es wert. Eine warme Suppe (Tortellini in Brodo) machte den Auftakt bevor die Schweinshaxe serviert wurde. Ein großes Stück Haxe, halbiert, wurde serviert. Das auch in einer bayerischen Wirtschaft Eindruck gemacht. Dazu einen kleinen Teller Patate fritte. Überraschenderweise wird in Italien die Haxe ohne Haut (Kruste) serviert. Da unterscheidet sich die Essenskultur. Perfekt dazu passte natürlich das Weißbier aus der Brauerei Riegele in Augsburg. Zufrieden und mit vollem Bauch ging es zurück ins Hotel. Nächstes Jahr wird dann wieder der klassischen regionalen Küche gefröhnt. Grazie e arrivederci al prossimo anno. Speriamo

05/04/2025: We will definitely be back The tagliatelle are really good, as is the fresh cured meat platter and the ficattole which were out of this world. the service is excellent and the environment is no different. One of the best castle taverns.

27/04/2025: Everything is tasteful: beautiful place, impeccable service, quality food (including water and oil) and not banal. The owner, a gallant and friendly person. Prices are normal, indeed! It will be my point of reference on my next stop in Bologna.
