09/08/2024: Impeccable service and food. This place is a treat. The food we had (all pasta dishes) was tasty, with delicate flavors. Chef's take on the tiramisu was great too. Most of all we were warmly received and treated kindly and respectfully by the owner. Extra bonus - the owner gifted our daughter a little souvenir. Branding of the place is ace.

20/08/2024: Amazing! A place that has a strategic location, directly on Piazza Plebiscito. It offers traditional cuisine, plentiful, tasty, tasty and with an excellent quality/price ratio. The innkeeper is friendly and engaging, offering a brief but essential description of the dishes that are brought, really interesting and pleasant. The products are of high quality, the pasta is homemade, as is the babà (made following the original traditional recipe). Everything was delicious, starter, first course and dessert were pleasantly impressed. The service is familiar and the welcome is impeccable. At the end of the dinner, two house bitters were also generously offered: their famous "battle water" ("10 drops" of life) and an apple liqueur, both to be tasted. I highly recommend trying the cuisine of this place, because it deserves a lot!

08/08/2024: We stayed in Marina di Camerota in a B&B near this bar/pastry shop and were lucky enough to have breakfast every morning for a week. Very friendly and welcoming owners, every morning fresh, home-grown products. Everything at the top! Baba and crazy puff pastries. Fully satisfied! Thank you

27/08/2024: I feel very comfortable in this outlet, I live in the north but every time I go down I go for more than one trip because with the same brands, the prices are better and the choice is wider.

10/08/2024: No llegué a cenar en el Restaurante ni me dejaron pasar. Me mandaron marchar de muy malas maneras y me dijeron que si me quedaba sin cenar no era su problema. Situación muy desagradable para un cliente. La actitud y modales del responsable del restaurante aconsejaría su despido inmediato, deja en muy mal lugar al restaurante. Hice la reserva en The Fork, que me confirmaron. Me genera dudas en reservas futuras, no es agradable llegar con una reserva confirmada y que tengas que aguantar esas actitudes hacia un cliente. Muy descontento con el restaurante.

Nearby is the place that manages gluten-free production, of excellent quality but only for takeaway. You can buy gluten free c8bo and go to the main pastry shop for a complete breakfast or lunch break

18/08/2024: The review is about the restaurant. I was a guest so I won't comment on the price, but the first courses were around 24 euros, therefore in line with high-class restaurants on the Coast. Informal and pleasant environment. Applause for the friendly waiter from Formia. The rest definitely needs improvement: - malfatti with fish: 1/3 portion, 3 mussels. The appearance of a first course must be delicious. The evening before we had visited a starred restaurant in Furore (the Bluh) and the portion was absolutely satisfying: surreal; - cod croquettes (on the menu as a second course): n. 3 croquettes that tasted exclusively of potatoes; - babà: for the first time in his life my partner (from Salerno) saw HALF a babà being served…; It's a shame because the place and the tradition of the place deserve it. Update following the (comical) response from the owner. 1) The lesson on what differentiates a tavern from a starred one defines HIS acrimony: we stayed at the Furore Grand Hotel (which houses a starred restaurant), despite this we are passionate about all types of places. Review your Italian: 'greedy' portion does not correspond to 'to be stuffed'; 2) The raw materials - good - do not change the comment: they do not make the cod 'materialise' inside croquettes proposed as a fish main course but with a potato flavour; 3) Having been fond of the place 'in times gone by', we wanted to return, without being intimidated by the negative 'rumors' about the new management. The answer below defines a once inconceivable line. To grow you need to listen, humility and the desire to improve. PS the comment about the pasta was made to the waiter immediately, just ask. 12/08/2024: This restaurant offers a nice mix of traditional local dishes with a bit of a creative touch. The food is well-presented, and the service is friendly and attentive. They have a good selection of local wines, and the view is truly impressive. Definitely worth a visit!
