Excellent food, generous portions, reasonable prices, I recommend it.

I went for lunch yesterday. I relished the flavors of when my mother used to make meatballs, and I ate paccheri with meat sauce, which reminded me of our Sunday lunches. I chatted with the very friendly and kind owner, and the young man who served us is one of those good young people who, in addition to studying, works to support themselves, and was constantly checking to see if everything was okay at our table. I would recommend this restaurant with all my heart if you want to eat well, feel at home, and spend very little. Thank you so much for the Sunday lunch I remember.

Anyone looking for truly authentic dining in the Tropea region should visit "Il Brigante." The restaurant is situated on a hilltop at an altitude of approximately 450 meters, overlooking the port of Gioia Tauro – you'll need to factor in a few winding roads to get there. However, the incredibly delicious Calabrian dishes are offered at a very fair price – along with excellent olive oil produced on-site. The wine list also features regional wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and would gladly return – highly recommended!

Everything was delicious, the view was stunning, the staff were friendly and helpful, highly recommended! Edit: As usual, a sure thing: amazing meat, crispy potatoes, excellent mushroom pasta, fast and courteous service, a charming view, and a welcoming atmosphere. The idea of ​​the "lava stone" steak plate, so you can cook the meat however you like, is very nice. Overall, highly recommended for dinners with friends/family. The tiramisu seems to have changed a bit, and I personally preferred it a while ago, but that's just a matter of personal preference.

We ate the best steak in the world here, and the other dishes were also excellent. The ingredients used come mostly from their own farm or local suppliers. Highly recommended!! The friendly owner serves guests personally and is very helpful with menu choices if desired. The view is breathtaking. We visited this restaurant about five times during our vacation in Santa Maria di Ricardi, and the quality was consistently outstanding. We'll definitely be back next time!

Excellent traditional restaurant. If you want to eat well, like a true local agritourism, this is the place to go. Beautiful ambiance, spectacular views, and top-quality dry-aged meat! The owner is a sommelier, so trust his expert advice! I go there at least twice a month now...just because I'm on a diet. 😆

The best meal we've had in this region so far!! My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with the beautiful ambiance, the stunning view, the incredibly friendly service, and, above all, the fantastic food. The value for money is excellent. We highly recommend this place to everyone. We'll definitely be back.
