Located near the waterfront, this restaurant serves typical Salerno seafood, but also serves excellent pizza. Very clean and welcoming. The honest and friendly owner treats you like you're at home. Kudos to the waitress for her kindness and professionalism. Fair prices and quality food.

I happened across Stella Maris well walking the merchant streets in Salerno. The person helping me was extremely polite and helpful - I don’t speak Italian. Even with the menu translation option, I couldn’t decide and asked the man serving me to choose for me. I am so happy I did. I had the most amazing pizza. And I’m not exaggerating. It had a deep stuffed crust filled with cheese. It was remarkable. I will likely eat here again tomorrow.

Kudos to the pizza chef, he gives really good advice and even takes the extra two minutes to listen! Despite my takeout and the walk, the pizza was delicious even if it wasn't piping hot! Kudos to the chili pepper, finally someone who's spicy!!!

As a tourist, I can say that this hysteria is great. The owner cares about offering an impeccable service, as well as the food served. It's clear to see the care with which the meals are prepared. The effort made to please and communicate with clients is remarkable. The seafood and pizzas are delicious. Above all the meals are reasonable and good quality. To be improved is the space, which is quite limited.
