The design is not merely tasteful—it is surgical in its precision. Every archway, every tile, every gleaming brass fixture seemed to have been chosen by someone with the soul of Fellini and the budget of a Saudi prince. The atmosphere walks the line between Roman sensuality and Parisian restraint, floating effortlessly somewhere above the mortal plane. And the staff—sweet Jesus. Gracious doesn’t begin to describe them. They glided, not walked. They anticipated my needs before I even had time to get thirsty or irritable. One could collapse in a heap of espresso-soaked joy and still be caught by a velvet-gloved hand offering a chilled glass of something French and expensive. I’ve seen luxury. I’ve danced in palaces and raged in five-star bunkers. But this—this was exuberant transcendence. Hotel La Palma doesn’t just offer you a stay; it baptizes you into a cult of sensual ease. Would I return? I may never leave.

09/06/2025: Overall a really nice and fun experience. To be expected a tourist spot but with a very welcoming and nice staff. All very attentive and helpful during the entire experience. Food was good and priced as expected. Most of the table had steak - one person in our party seemed to have a issue with the steak and the staff without question removed it from the bill, asked several time if they wanted another one or something else. The entertainment was fun and engaging however after the first hour seemed a little overwhelming. But very friendly. I would recommend and go back - with expectation of it being a tourist destination.

09/06/2025: The setting of La Zagara restaurant is undoubtedly its greatest asset. The lemon grove is absolutely magnificent and creates a peaceful and romantic ambiance, ideal for an al fresco dinner. The service is attentive, the plates well presented, and the desserts are visually stunning. Unfortunately, the content doesn't always match. The risotto clearly lacked flavor and finesse, and the dessert—priced at €20—was very disappointing despite its aesthetics. We paid €250 for two people, a hefty amount for an experience that, ultimately, doesn't justify the price. In short: a place worth a visit for its setting, but not necessarily for its food.

Update: in recent years we have occasionally had the opportunity to taste pizza in this place and I can only confirm the goodness of the pizzas, the fried foods and the constant friendliness and availability towards the customer on the part of all the staff. Compliments.

13/10/2024: Mi sono trovata molto bene, io, mio marito e mia figlia ! Nonostante non avessimo prenotato, di Sabato, avevano dei tavolini da self service. Non abbiamo aspettato molto. I fritti erano davvero molto buoni e fatti a mano. Come pizza scelsi una lucignolo, davvero gustosa, anche mio marito è rimasto contento della sua! Consiglio vivamente di andarci!

14/03/2025: Una vera e propria "experience"... proprio come mi avevano suggerito! Un piccolo gioiello di bistrot, location sul modello europeo, gestito da giovani affabili e preparati. Una chicca le varie miscele di caffè, macinato al momento in modo che l'aroma e il gusto diventi inconfondibile (interessante l'illustrazione professionale di Giacomo). E poi come non assaggiare la accattivante varietà dei dolci? Ritornerò anche per un pranzo o cena (i menù variano giornalmente a seconda dei prodotti freschi). Atmosfera e cibo infondono una piacevole sensazione.

14/06/2025: If this is the university of pizza, someone needs to fire the professor. Pizza by the meter was the worst pizza I have had in Italy, by a long shot. I'm not sure if we got the "tourist special," but it completely lacked flavor and ingredients. Pizza capricciosa lacked any olives. The ham and artichokes were barely there. The other varieties we had were also lacking ingredients. They all tasted of the same bland taste. The crust wasn't the worst, but a meter or crust is hard to justify for $35-40. I believe this has become a complete tourist trap. It may have been good at one time, but now it appears as an overpriced shell of a pizzeria trying to serve other dishes. It is 100% gimmick and 0% flavor. It was so bad we didn't even want to take the pieces we didn't eat. They like to appear as a bit higher end than what they actually are. If your craving pizza, save your money and go to a better pizza place. Anyone who recommends this trap for someone wanting pizza should not be trusted. The only reason to go here would be if you have a large group (they have a lot of seating) that all want to sit around and eat bad pizza (or order something else here).

21/05/2025: We were there yesterday, for lunch. A group of 7 friends, from Milan, who had an exquisite lunch, with many tasty and delicious things. Kind, smiling and very professional staff. We highly recommend it, we will definitely be back.

09/06/2025: Be careful because the riders change the delivery money! Yesterday I ordered sandwiches at home, on the phone I was told one price but when the rider arrives he tells me another. I called to ask for explanations and they hung up on me! It's not the first time it's happened, I've always left a tip, even if the orders often arrive late, but leaving a tip of my own free will is one thing and STEALING money from customers is another. I will never order at home again

03/05/2025: There were two of us. We waited a good hour for just two sandwiches, among other things one with a completely burnt hamburger: in fact it was not possible to eat it. It is the second time this thing has happened: there are too few staff compared to the seats in the room and this does not allow for an effective service. This second experience, the same as the first, made us come to the conclusion that WE WILL NOT RETURN.

22/04/2025: We go here every Friday evening as one family for dinner with 4 adults and 4 children. Been doing this since 2012-2015 and again 2023-2025...and currently. Have never been disappointed or had a bad meal. The staff treat us like family and absolutely love our children. The staff does not speak much English but we do fine with enough Italian to get by. Food is always fresh and prepared the way you want it. The local wines are excellent. Desserts are fantastic. But it is the pizzas and the seafood entrees that never, ever have disppointed. Veal dishes great too. It is our #1 restaurant in the Naples area. Finally, weather permitting, the views of the Tyraniannean Sea are unforgettable. Forget the reviews that complain about restrooms and the bldg. Everything works. It's the food and service that count. Very, very happy customers!
