29/06/2025: I booked this restaurant for a dinner with friends. Excellent welcome and availability from Rino, already from the reservation call. I really appreciated the octopus as an appetizer that I recommend, as well as the first courses, the soutè of lupini and the impatate di cozze. To return!

28/06/2025: Simple location but at the same time suggestive and relaxing .... the view of the lake especially at sunset is spectacular! Very kind and professional staff .... Excellent quality food and drinks! Nice discovery for us! We will definitely return!

08/08/2025: This taverna is in a stunning location on the beach at Marina Grande, Sorrento. The service was very good although it was early and the restaurant was quiet at 7pm. The food was expensive for what it was. We ordered pasta with clams and mussels which was okay. I ordered lobster with pasta and the lobster lacked flavour and the pasta was greasy and also lacked flavour. When I'm in Italy I want bold flavours of olive oil and garlic and lemon. So, despite the lovely location and good service, the food was average. The tiramasu was very good though. Would I eat here again? Only if I couldn't get a table elsewhere with a lovely location.

16/07/2025: Food was good but scammed from the waitress that told us that the fish was 1kg and she said the price is in the computer. At the end came a bill of 550 euro with almost 200 EURO of 1 fish and 53 EURO of service charge that is not mandatory in Italy.

22/04/2025: Vamos aquí todos los viernes por la noche como una familia para cenar con 4 adultos y 4 niños. Lleva haciendo esto desde 2012 - 2015 y de nuevo 2023 - 2025 . . . y actualmente. Nunca han sido decepcionados o tenido una mala comida. El personal nos trata como a la familia y absolutamente aman a nuestros hijos. El personal no habla mucho inglés, pero nos va bien con suficiente italiano para salir adelante. La comida siempre está fresca y preparada de la manera que usted quiere. Los vinos locales son excelentes. Los postres son fantásticos. Pero son las pizzas y las entradas de marisco las que nunca, nunca han decepcionado. Platos de ternera genial también. Es nuestro restaurante # 1 en el área de Nápoles. Por último, si el tiempo lo permite, las vistas del mar de Tyraniannean son inolvidables. Olvídate de las críticas que se quejan de los baños y la bldg. Todo funciona. Lo que cuenta es la comida y el servicio. Clientes muy, muy contentos!

23/05/2025: Adoro l’atmosfera che si respira a casa Caldarelli,posto elegante e cibo di alta qualità il personale è accogliente e disponibile ma il loro punto di forza è senz’altro la cucina guidata e gestita dal grande chef Enzo persona seria e gentile che passa spesso tra i tavoli a chiedere se tt procede bene. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a tutti gli amanti del buon cibo e soprattutto non dimenticatevi di assaggiare la parmiggiana rivisitata una delle prelibatezze piú buone del locale,la carne,la pizza i primi piatti insomma proprio tutto! 23/05/2025: Domenica 18 abbiamo festeggiato il battesimo della mia bambina, ed è stato tutto perfetto, l'organizzazione, ma soprattutto il cibo, tutto buonissimo! Alcuni miei ospiti non c'erano mai stati, mangiavano e continuavano a dirmi che non si aspettavano cibo di così alta qualità! Lo chef è stato gentile dall'inizio, da quando abbiamo fissato la data fino al giorno del battesimo! Grazie di tutto a prestissimo!

14/07/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Central Sorrento. Very comfortable family room for 4, which had 2 balconies and 2 rooms separated by a sliding door. Friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and a reasonably large breakfast buffet selection - something for everyone. Relaxing wellness (purchased massages) and good size outdoor pool. Never too busy, and always found loungers. Great staff at the pool, a variety of drinks served and some food -mainly a lunch menu. Our room faced the street but we were never bothered by noise. Well insulated windows. The hotel and area was quiet, and far enough away from the center of town and the buzz of traffic and evening crowds. Yet only a few minutes walk from a wide selection of restaurants and shops. Will recommended to family and friends, and would be very happy to return. Thanks for a memorable stay in Sorrento!

08/07/2025: We absolutely loved our 3 night stay in Sorrento at Hotel Central Wellness and wish we stayed longer. Located in a great position with restaurants and shops at your doorstep. It couldn't be in a better position. We drove to the hotel and we could pull up right out the front to check in and unpack our luggage. Parking was just a couple of metres behind the hotel so easy to access. The hotel staff at check-in and breakfast where absolutely amazing. The decor was gorgeous throughout the hotel. The hotel was super clean and so well looked after. Our room was perfect. Great size, fresh, clean, a cute verandah and beautiful new bathroom. The breakfast was great, lots of options and delicious sweet cakes and pastries. The pool was a great size, water temperature perfect and right amount of sun, shade and lounge beds and umbrellas. There is not one thing to fault with this hotel. We will be back.

04/08/2025: Small seafood restaurant...very fresh fish...seafood carbonara...top...and very fresh and dry fried food...highly recommended....from a namesake it couldn't be otherwise 😋👏

22/07/2025: We went to dinner with some friends from Milan, and this is probably the theme, the classic attitude of a short-sighted restaurateur who thinks "who'll ever see these people again?" So, in translation, terrible service, two girls, one more grumpy than the other, there were 30 of us, but we booked in the morning, so all day to plan the dinner, which included the famous seafood carbonara for everyone. And there was nothing seafood at all, a simple spaghetti with sauce, paid 16 euros when the sign outside says 12. Well done!! You screwed me because I left so pissed I didn't even look at the receipt. The order was taken after an hour of being seated; they served their local customers first! We ate after an hour and a half, and then for the main course they told us to move because they had to close the kitchen. Let's forget it! Tourists, if you want to eat good seafood, come to Milan, and if you ask me if I'd go back to Ciro's, not even for free!! For the rest, go Naples!
