03/06/2025: Fantastic food right in the centre of the main square in Sorrento. We can see why it was always busy anytime we walked passed and would highly recommend. Great selection on the menu and extensive cocktail menu. The Bruschetta starter was absolutely fantastic! Got the lasagne for mains, excellent! 🍝🧑🏼‍🍳

01/06/2025: Se potessi dare zero stelle o addirittura una denuncia alla buona cucina italiana, lo farei all’istante. Il bar Sirenuse di Sorrento è una barzelletta di cattivo gusto, una trappola per turisti senza alcun rispetto né per il cibo né per le persone. Siamo stati letteralmente assaliti dai piccioni mentre mangiavamo: sì, avete capito bene, piccioni che si infilano nel piatto a beccare come se fosse la loro mensa personale. Uno schifo indegno. Una scena da film dell’orrore, altro che dolce vita sulla costiera. E il cibo? Una presa in giro disgustosa. Piatti tristi, freddi, insipidi, probabilmente usciti da una busta di surgelati scaduti, il tutto condito con una spolverata di arroganza e menefreghismo. Non si salva nulla. Neanche l’acqua sapeva di qualcosa. Il conto? Un furto con destrezza. Paghi a peso d’oro quello che in qualunque altro bar verrebbe rimandato in cucina con insulti annessi. Vivono solo del panorama, ma anche quello, con i piccioni che svolazzano tra i tavoli e lo squallore generale, perde qualsiasi fascino. Da evitare come una maledizione. Vergognatevi

12/06/2025: Vomero, last stop of our visit to Naples. Quiet place with a beautiful view of the city. We were in a bit of a hurry and stopped to eat at Arx Cafè. Excellent pasta with potatoes and the best coffee I've had these days. Friendly and helpful staff.

12/06/2025: Strategically located in the heart of Vomero in San Martino. Beautiful and I must say the truth everything is very good. The chef Peppe is really kind and friendly, the waiters are ready and prepared....I would say it is really worth trying again.

25/02/2025: When I arrived at the hotel I must say that I was scared by the location, as I didn't know Naples, I was a little scared, plus the taxi driver told me that he couldn't get there, obviously as the guys at the hotel say, taxi drivers try to take you somewhere else! The hotel is super well located in the historic center and walking through those streets is not unsafe, close to everything and the staff was very friendly. My experience in the room was good, it was spotless and the breakfast was great! Thank you for your attention.

21/05/2025: I put only one star because I can't put zero but simply for the waiters' rudeness for after having ordered Campari spritz saying "shall I bring you bruschetta?" Without specifying that they had a price! For God's sake it's not for €4 but not knowing that bothers me. So remain of the opinion that things are said and clarity is important in this job

10/05/2025: We waited an hour for breakfast and still didn't get it. The waiter, without any effort to correct anything, completely ignored us in dirty tracksuits

11/11/2024: Ci siamo seduti al tavolo alle 21.20 e la cena è arrivata alle 23:00. Capisco perfettamente il sabato sera, ma se non si è in grado di gestire un locale così ampio, forse sarebbe meglio ridurre i posti a sedere per fare si che le persone possano essere soddisfatti del locale. Al momento dell'ordinazione ci hanno comunicato che i tempi di attesa della pizza sarebbero stati lunghi, inducendoci così a prendere un antipasto costituito da patatine fritte e frittatine (arrivate subito in quanto surgelate e fritte al volo). Trascorsa 1 ora dalla comanda, ci è stato detto che avremmo dovuto ancora aspettare, la ciliegina sulla torta si è verificata quando arrivata la pizza, l'abbiamo trovata condita con un capello. Non credo proprio ritorneremo, seppur la pizza non sia male.

01/05/2025: Horribles cocteles (Daiquiri & Piña Colada) , horrible servicio (gritaba a la gente por sentarse cuando no querían nada de comida ya que solo querían bebidas & nada de comida) y no recomendaría en absoluto... impactante.

02/01/2025: Food was good! Tho the staff was horrendous, literaly scammed us 5€ telling us the printer for tickets didn’t work, like come on…. If you want a tip just say it, don’t scam customers like that. Not that great of an experience.

17/06/2025: On Friday night we tried to go to this place, the road to get there was all uphill and full of potholes, and the stretch to reach the place was full of stones and dust. With sandals, my feet ended up black with dust! But the real problem was the selection at the entrance. They rejected us because we were too young (we were between 23 and 26 years old) for their target. However, we saw guys younger than us enter. We stayed out there for about ten minutes and we saw other groups rejected because they had few girls while others managed to get in even if they were only made up of guys. The selection seems to be very arbitrary and I think that the entrance is reserved almost exclusively for people we know.

08/04/2025: We came at a time when there was no queue and got surprised to get a table immediately. Pizzas were very nice and served within 5’! At the end we were very happy - only downside being the waitress explitly pressuring us to give a tip - which is totally unusual in Italy and left us with a small bitter sweet …

12/06/2025: Terrible experience, really poor and unpleasant food. The worst restaurant we could have ever found. Inedible raw pizza with the raw ham that smelled very old, I had a first and second course of fish left there after the first forkful, poisonous clams and mussels impossible to eat them, we practically paid without eating because all the food was left on the table, dirty plates with handprints. A place like this shouldn't exist in Sorrento, bad image for the place.

12/06/2025: Not sure what the bad reviews are on about. If you expect the Ritz off an alleyway in Sorrento, you’re delulu. Authentic food, clearly family owned, good service, & delicious. Yes, bring cash, spare your poor credit card a swipe, you won’t die. Best priced, tastiest lunch we’ve had here. Support the locals!

10/04/2025: I went to this place about two years ago, it was really excellent, the best in Naples and the province; so a few days ago I decided to go again. Since there are two of us, we take a croissant with pistachio baiocchi and two layers of pancakes with Nutella biscuit. The pancake was good, but it was dry, the croissant not bad, unfortunately there wasn't much pistachio flavour. PRICE: special croissant, special two-layer pancake and a water 8.60 euros, a little expensive. Only the croissant cost €3.30 because at the entrance, near the cash register, there was a sign indicating an increase of 0.30 cents on the entire menu. Unfortunately I no longer consider it as excellent as I once did, sorry. I hope to go back and change my mind despite the increase in prices justified by the current situation we are experiencing. See you soon.

In fact, until Cira arrived, I had stopped going to the shop for a long time. Previous experiences with the employees were not at all positive: not only were they not particularly competent, but their courtesy and helpfulness towards customers left much to be desired. Cira's presence instead represented a real turning point. He is a person who demonstrates undisputed professionalism, combined with incredible empathy and kindness. Since she joined the team, I have decided to happily return to Jam Bake. Cira is not only an expert worker, but she also knows how to effectively relate to customers, making each of us feel welcomed and comfortable. His sociable approach and availability are truly unique and make the difference. What I appreciate most about Cira is her constant commitment. Every day, he sacrifices himself to ensure that the store functions at its best, implementing a series of actions aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of the service. Furthermore, it is clear that he never stops learning and perfecting his work, always trying to grow professionally. Cira is a person who transmits passion for what she does and this is reflected not only in her attitude towards clients, but also in the care with which she takes care of every aspect of her work. He is an incredible asset to the shop and his commitment is definitely one of the main reasons I continue to choose Jam Bake. I conclude with my most sincere compliments to Cira: she is an extraordinary professional and a wonderful person who contributes significantly to the success of the store every day. I hope he continues to be a key part of this team.

06/05/2025: Blue Grotto vodka cocktail, we didn't smell the vodka at all and it lacked taste! Good lemon ice cream. Hefty note but we are in Capri: 24 euros for 2.

06/04/2025: I bought a takeaway pizza tonight, Sunday evening at 8. Pizza with holes and burnt in the centre, perhaps too thin, there was only the edge of the pizza. All hidden by chips. €8.50 for a round with croquettes and chips too high.
