06/06/2025: Ho avuto recentemente il piacere di assaporare un piatto che, nella sua semplicità, rasenta la perfezione: le tagliatelle al sugo di ortiche con burrata. Fin dalla presentazione, il piatto si è rivelato un piccolo gioiello. Il verde intenso e rustico del sugo di ortiche avvolgeva morbidamente le tagliatelle, ruvide al punto giusto da trattenere ogni goccia di condimento. A completare l'opera, una burrata freschissima, adagiata al centro come una perla bianca e cremosa, pronta a fondersi con il calore della pasta. Al primo assaggio, l'esplosione di sapori è stata sorprendente. L'ortica, spesso sottovalutata, ha rivelato un gusto erbaceo, delicato ma persistente. Un sapore autentico, che parla di terra e di tradizioni antiche. La vera magia, però, è scaturita dall'incontro con la burrata. La sua dolcezza lattiginosa e la sua consistenza incredibilmente cremosa hanno smorzato la nota quasi selvatica dell'ortica, creando un equilibrio sublime. Ad ogni forchettata, la stracciatella filante della burrata si mescolava al sugo, dando vita a un condimento avvolgente che ha trasformato un piatto potenzialmente semplice in un'esperienza gourmet. Le tagliatelle, rigorosamente fatte in casa, erano il veicolo perfetto per questa sinfonia di sapori. La loro porosità e la cottura al dente hanno esaltato la consistenza del piatto, rendendo ogni boccone un piacere tattile oltre che gustativo.

11/08/2025: Beautiful country house on a hill surrounded by diverse plants and numerous olive groves. Tranquility reigns supreme. The property is new with a lovely pool for guests. Excellent cuisine, spacious, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Reasonable price.

30/06/2025: Tonight we went to eat pizza for the first time at the Pizzeria "Moon Valley" and everything was delicious. I ate a pizza with porchetta and baked potatoes and it was delicious. The fried foods and desserts were also excellent. Very welcoming place and very kind staff. We will definitely be back

21/07/2025: Absolutely the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Totally unloving and tasteless. Unfortunately, the service was even worse. The waiter seemed visibly annoyed and didn't even ask if the food tasted good. Many guests, like us, didn't finish their food and quickly left the restaurant. I can't recommend it to anyone.

16/08/2025: Very nice place, and the staff were all incredibly kind. The food was good, but if I may make a personal comment, the cheek with Barolo was I'm not mistaken, but it had a flavor that was too strong (for my taste) and overshadowed the actual flavor of the meat, so I was disappointed. The veal with tuna sauce was spectacular and truly delicious. The meat, on the other hand, was a slice of meat served on a sizzling hot griddle, beautiful to look at and delicious too. I think the tiramisu was one of the best I've had recently. In any case, a highly recommended place. We'll definitely be back, and maybe I'll even try a first course.

31/07/2025: Despite having booked a table in advance and having three small children with us, we had to wait over two hours for service. It was frustrating, despite repeated complaints. Apparently, they're seating more people than they can handle. To be fair, the food was good, the prices were in line with the rest, and the waitresses were friendly. They could have given us a discount to make up for the unforgivable wait. A truly beautiful place, in an excellent location for cycling around the lake.

27/07/2025: What a wonderful discovery, Rifugio Ristoro Solena! On July 23, 2025, we were there for lunch with the whole family, a group of eight adults, two children, and our two dogs. The atmosphere was perfect for such a diverse group. We started with an exquisite cheese and cured meat platter. But the highlight that absolutely won us over was the venison steak with fresh chanterelles—truly superb. A place we'll keep in mind for future trips, especially since they're dog-friendly, which isn't always a given! The location is convenient, accessible by car, and offers a view of the turquoise Cancano lakes. The staff was kind and helpful. The atmosphere was super welcoming, with a beautiful soundtrack in the background!!!

10/04/2025: A special place, a bit of fruit and vegetables and a bit of a restaurant! Combination of top foods revisited by those who cook! Recommended for those who want a bit of madness, a lot of taste and naturalness in their dishes!

13/08/2025: Last night we went to the "Sal de Mar" restaurant, and it was a bit of a rollercoaster experience. After a 40-minute wait, during which we practically watched the tables that arrived after us become Olympic champions in speeding up their plates, our dishes finally arrived. My friend's mussels were good, and my scallops au gratin were too, although a bit small compared to the ones you find around. But then the absurd began: the bread was so old it looked like a historical relic, and when my friend's pasta arrived, it was so salty it looked like it had been swimming in the ocean. We sent it back, and then they asked us three times if we wanted another, as if repeating the question would make it more appetizing. To top it off, I had specifically asked for the fish to be cleaned, but instead it was full of bones, like an unsolicited treasure hunt. The side potatoes were bland, almost like tasteless boiled clouds. Frankly, €40 for a sea bream for one person, served in these conditions, seems decidedly excessive. I admit I felt embarrassed listing all these mistakes, and in the end, driven by hunger, I ate out of desperation, more out of necessity than pleasure. The only positive note was that the fish was fresh, and you could taste it. In short, between vintage bread, ocean-quality pasta, tables arriving late and served early, and a comedy-like service, it was an evening more worth talking about for a laugh than for a return visit.
