My wife and I went for dinner two nights ago on the recommendation of our host (Mr. Antonio), and we were not disappointed at all. The service was extremely kind and courteous, the menu included a good selection of traditional dishes, and what we tried was delicious! The portions were just right (not small at all), and the final bill was in line with local standards for the time of year.
Important note: the restaurant has a decent selection of local wines and also offers a choice of glass, ideal if you can't finish the entire bottle.

We visited here after asking a local bar owner for a recommendation on where to eat dinner & we were not disappointed! In this situation, I usually expect that they have just sent you to their buddy, but in this case I think they actually just like the restaurant. We did too! In fact, we went two nights in a row. We loved their food which all seems very local, and enjoyed many of the local digestivi (amaro and grappa) which were recommended to us by the restaurant staff. Salute to the staff, they’re were superb hosts!

This restaurant was our culinary discovery in Tropea – delicious fish (both swordfish and tuna) and exquisite pasta, plus good wine and a delicious dessert. We found homemade spaghetti for the kids, and it disappeared in a flash. Add to that the intimate setting and friendly service – we'll remember these flavors for a long time.

The worst food we've had in all of Calabria – and this in a place with so many positive reviews. Small, underwhelming portions, dry and stale bread. The dishes fall far short of the standard you'd expect from local Calabrian cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service friendly – but good intentions alone aren't enough when the food is so disappointing. There are definitely better options in Tropea.

Our B&B host recommended this place, and we had a great time with the four of us for supper. The food was delicious, and the private setting away from Main Street added to the experience.

Just finished lunch. In the heart of Tropea's historic center. Top-quality dishes: seafood risotto, spaghetti with mussels and pecorino, swordfish, calamari, all very fresh. Very fair prices. A charming location nestled in a cave. Mimmo, his daughter-in-law, and his son gave us a warm welcome. I will return without hesitation!

A small restaurant in a Tropea alley. You can eat outside, and it's quiet. The food is excellent, the onion fritters are delicious. The mixed grill is plentiful. The service is courteous, competent, and fast.
