08/12/2025: The place really needs a name change: calling itself a trattoria creates a completely different expectation than what you actually get. The portions aren't trattoria-like, nor are the prices, and just the exterior gives the illusion of entering a simple, down-to-earth place. The food is certainly good, well-cooked, and of high quality, but the prices are significantly higher than average, especially considering the quantities served. The worst thing, however, is the coffee: €4 for a nearly undrinkable coffee is truly shocking. In many places, it's even free, but here they serve it to you in a spectacular mug... only to find out when you're checking out that they didn't even sell you the cup! What I find unacceptable is the lack of clarity and lack of customer service. In a place that calls itself a "trattoria," if I ask for coffee, I expect a normal product and a normal price: it would have been enough to let you know in advance that it was a special coffee and that it cost €4. When I pointed out that the price was excessive, I was told that "they usually bring the menu to be transparent." It's a shame that this wasn't done with us. And despite the report, no action, no attention: total disregard for the customer. And this is precisely the main reason why I wouldn't return or recommend it: not for the food, but for the lack of clarity and care toward those who enter.

23/11/2025: Quick stop on a long drive and we were welcomed by a full, calm, trattoria with great food and kind service with a very quick turnaround to get us back on the road. Soup, meat, pasta, and dessert a were equally delicious. Fully recommend

05/11/2025: The atmosphere is refined, elegant, and welcoming. The dishes aren't overly elaborate, the pasta is fresh, and the staff is friendly and smiling. If I had to find anything negative, it would only be the prices. It's true that we're in a high-quality, elegant place, but I think it should be 10-15% cheaper to be perfect.

09/11/2025: Alessandra served me an excellent ice cream, she was very kind, professional and careful to the customer's needs. The only thing I noticed while sitting on the benches in front of the store to enjoy my ice cream were the other two young colleagues playing with chocolates. In my opinion not professional at all.

07/11/2025: Was really hopeful it would be great! Kids spaghetti fine, but nothing amazing. Pumpkin risotto was good. Meatballs were raw and sent back. Packaged up as take away and got home... for them to STILL be raw. All of that for the low price of almost 150 euros. Much better places to eat on the coast. Skip it.

28/10/2025: Service was excellent, the food is good, and we definitely enjoyed our dinner. Be sure to make reservations. This restaurant is recommended. Americans please note that the portions are small, relative to typical American expectations for dinner. You definitely need an appetizer with your meal if you are hungry. No salads or vegetables, which is also different relative to typical American meals. This restaurant is not unique in the general lack of vegetables for dinner. We experienced this across Italy and Denmark during our trip, so this must be typical.

21/12/2025: We tried the Florentine menu and really enjoyed it. The location is in the center of town, spread across three floors. The rooms aren't particularly large, but the staff welcomed us warmly. Very friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. Let's start with the appetizers, which were plentiful and delicious. A Florentine steak for two was more than generous, but above all, perfectly cooked, paired with various types of salt. For dessert, a bottle of Chianti paired perfectly with what we ordered. I'd love to try other very inviting dishes. I highly recommend it, and we'll be back.

06/12/2025: A well-kept restaurant with knowledgeable staff and a set menu offering good value. Reservations are recommended as they are popular at lunchtime.

19/09/2025: We've been coming back to Bertie's several times, and we always find something new, not to mention the excellent quality. From pizza to meat, the pasta dishes, especially the mezzaniello lardiato, are out of this world. What can I say, we always love returning. Compliments to everyone, especially for the service and hospitality, which are undeniable.

14/12/2025: You won with the Christmas atmosphere, well done! Family dinner, excellent carbonara, you can taste the guanciale and then comes the egg, paccheri anduja and guanciale excellent, saltimbocca alla romana really good! We wanted to eat Roman cuisine and we were not disappointed. For desserts: tiramisu, an explosion of flavors very balanced but the ladyfinger was what really kicked it up a notch, the Zuppa Inglese, again, well balanced especially with the alchermes, well done! Well trained staff, very friendly owner. Keep up the good work.

07/12/2025: As soon as we arrived, we were immersed in the atmosphere of a typical family-run Roman trattoria, where hospitality and friendliness make the difference. The food, along with excellent, quality food, beautifully presented and recommended, is also excellent. We will definitely recommend it to friends passing through, as we did.

09/11/2025: Nice atmosphere and helpful, friendly staff. The menu was rather limited, so I opted for the rib eye steak, which on the menu was listed as about 500-600 grams. The rib eye steak had roughly 80 grams of meat. The rest was ribs and bone. I won't repeat myself, sorry.
