20/10/2025: Braciami is a lovely restaurant whose offerings go beyond what its name suggests or the idea of ​​a farmhouse restaurant. At Braciami, you'll also find international recipes enhanced with their high-quality ingredients. Excellent tacos, empanades, lasagna with lamb ragù, spare ribs. And, of course, delicious grilled meats. The cuts are good, but the portions are a bit on the small side. They also make excellent supplì. The portions are perfect for sharing, often double (for example, the bombette are 4, the supplì and the bruschettone are 2), so be sure to ask before ordering to avoid overdoing it. If you order the bruschettone, ask for homemade bread, not the tramezzini kind, and for it to be well toasted; they tend to leave it soggy. The place is very charming, with attention to every detail, and surrounded by greenery. It's just outside Viterbo, on the Cimina road, about an hour from the Cassia Veientana exit of the GRA ring road. Oh, and they also make good coffee. I didn't stay at the agriturismo.

My only complaint would be to make sure menus are handed out at the table and to at least ask for water as soon as people are seated, rather than leaving them waiting 20 minutes. Otherwise, the fish was good and the evening was pleasant. I recommend it.

03/11/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with my wife. The place is quite small—I'd guess about fifteen seats—located on one side of the Torraccia square. While the location isn't anything special, it's still welcoming. Once inside, the magic happens: you're greeted by the owner and chef Andrea and his expertise, passion, and friendliness. My advice is to skip the menu and take his advice; you definitely won't regret it. We did, and everything was perfect, from the wine (which, if I remember correctly, was called "Micagnente" or something similar), to the appetizers, and so on, all the way to dessert and digestifs. A blend of revisited tradition and innovation, all supported by quality products, research, and good taste. Everything was delicious. If I really had to choose, I'd say the crispy vegetable meatballs and the onion tartare were tops (I'm making up the names since I haven't seen the menu 😅). All the appetizers were also special (the stuffed ricotta moussine and the venison prosciutto are also worth a mention). The gricia with asparagus was also very good, while the gorgonzola, arugula, and honey (or jam, I can't remember) straccetti were less memorable. Also noteworthy is the table service, provided by a very young man (unfortunately I don't remember his name) with the same passion and charm as Chef Andrea. Don't expect formality or impeccable professionalism, but you'll definitely feel at home. It's like having a brother who's a chef and going to dinner at his house... We'll definitely be back to try the other specialties! EDIT: We also returned with our two children, and I can only confirm the excellent previous review. In fact, if anything, I'd say we were welcomed even more warmly. Using only fresh seasonal produce, we were able to try the autumn menu: the gnocchi with gorgonzola and 'nduja are spectacular, and the pork "fungo" with mushrooms is simply brilliant. Andrea, besides being a brilliant chef, is also a uniquely empathetic person: when he told us we were there to celebrate a milestone, he even gave us a bottle of prosecco! A final note on the price: for the quality of the food, I'd say the prices are more than fair. When we looked at the receipt at home, we wondered if he'd forgotten to write something down!

03/10/2025: "We were five friends at the bar..." For a reunion with friends after a long time (people returning from London, Florida, and other towns in the Marche region), we chose La Bottega di Michele in Marina di Altidona (FM), just a few hundred meters from the Pedaso highway exit. Besides spending a raucous evening chatting, laughing, reminiscing, and sharing our troubles, we were welcomed by an atmosphere that was both passionate, warm, and familiar, yet ultra-professional and knowledgeable. The aperitifs served were a surprise for their deliciousness and the absolute quality of the ingredients. All local, zero-mile products were tastefully presented and served. We enjoyed a tasting of cured meats and cheeses, crostini with sausage, pizza with potatoes, a mix of lentils, chickpeas, tomatoes, and more, all excellent in their flavor. A sommelier was present with us and complimented the wine cellar, craft beers, and anisette Rosati (the best!). A fitting finale was a trio of maritozzi filled with pistachio, chocolate, and other fillings, which made this meeting memorable and wonderful. Michele's shop; for me, it's state-of-the-art hospitality and dining, with top-quality organic products and excellent value. My heartfelt compliments to the staff. We'll be back!

04/10/2025: We simply had an excellent experience at this restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you pass a beautiful open kitchen that rivals that of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The owners are incredibly kind people and you immediately feel like part of the family. The dishes showcase the tradition of Sicilian cuisine, with an exciting, chic new twist from the chef. Highly recommended, make sure to have a dinner here while visiting Milazzo!

27/10/2025: A fantastic place, very atmospheric, few tourists, mostly locals. The coffee is excellent. During our stay in Palermo, we stopped in for coffee and a croissant every day.

26/10/2025: I was planning to visit a different, highly rated Café, but after seeing loads of super loud people I decided to trust the comments and visit Del Corso... and I am SO grateful I did! Can you get any more Sicilian atmosphere than here? I don't think so! There were a lot of people, but everyone speaking quietly, no shouting. The owner made coffee in the beautiful manner showing perfectly that this is what he does, and he sure does it with love. The mountain of cups waiting for the washing time just showed how ICONIC this place is, and then the coffee... I ordered an espresso macchiato and a cornetto. The coffee was perfect blend, I absolutely love the smell and the taste. Cornetto was fresh and full of marmalade. The place is just like its menu - so simple, and hence so perfect. It immediately became my favourite breakfast spot in the whole Palermo. Grazie!

07/10/2025: This restaurant deserves more exposure! On our last day of our trip, we were looking for something to eat near our Airbnb and found MANGIO, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip on a high note. We received EXCELLENT service from Antônio and Anika, both very kind and with a wonderful energy. We were impressed by their professionalism and charisma. This alone says a lot about the place and significantly changes the restaurant experience. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and pasta dishes, and everything was wonderful, tasty, and in good quantities. It was a great experience. Thank you, Antônio and Anika.

09/10/2025: We stayed at Ai Mori d’Oriente as two couples and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Our rooms were spacious, beautifully presented, and immaculately clean. Breakfast each morning offered a great selection including fresh pastries, fruits, and hot options, all served with genuine care. What really stood out, though, was the team. Every member of staff we met on 3rd October was exceptional… warm, professional, and eager to help. They recommended several local restaurants within walking distance, each one excellent, which made our stay even more memorable. A transfer to Murrano was included which helped us to explore Venice! A charming, elegant hotel in a quiet yet convenient part of Venice perfect for couples or anyone seeking a refined, relaxing stay. We’ll absolutely return.

07/10/2025: Review of the hotel bar: What a surprise. We just wanted a bite to eat in the early afternoon (other restaurants turned us away because they were too late) and got a table right on the idyllic canal in the sunshine. Parvaiz was the name of the wonderful waiter, who looked after us as if we were VIPs or even friends. Gallant, funny, courteous, and professional. The pasta was fantastic. The service was top-notch. We'd love to come back.

I must say we had a really good time... excellent food, friendly and helpful staff... tasty first courses and delicious platters of cured meats, cheeses, and crostini... excellent value for money... we even got a discount... highly recommended.
