09/09/2025: Well-kept and pleasant, both inside and out. It immediately offers the pleasant atmosphere of a setting that inspires a sense of well-being and ease. Service is quick, with some improvements to be made based on the staff's expertise...a few more suggestions...the table setting, for example. The Tagliata and the Cinghiale are more than satisfying, including the accompanying side dishes of potatoes and grilled vegetables. The half-bottle wine offer is also appreciated.

01/10/2025: I've been to Sara's several times for work; it's truly a magical place, where nature meets Romagna cuisine and hospitality. Careful location, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

13/10/2025: It's the first time we've decided to have lunch at this restaurant in Cilento with friends. We made a reservation and arrived around 1:30 PM. It's a lovely, quiet place, well-maintained. The waiter arrives, asks what we'd like to drink, and gives us menus. Shortly after, we order first and second courses. Unfortunately, the wait was what ruined everything. We waited exactly an hour for pasta, which was unjustifiable considering there were a maximum of 25-30 people sitting there besides us. The food was quite good. I've had better, but I have to be honest. I didn't like the fried food. But the most unnerving thing was waiting from 1:30 to 4:00 PM for two courses. During all this, the wine got warm, and we only drank water while waiting, and we had to get more chilled wine when the meals arrived. The waiter didn't even apologize, he just said there was a delay in the kitchen. Meanwhile, side dishes, appetizers, various bread baskets, and everything else went to the tables that had arrived after us. PS: We only got our bread when we finished the main course. Coffee was offered.

12/10/2025: I found it while trying to avoid the generally expensive restaurants on the coast, and I have to say it was a great choice! It has a scenic location, mostly local customers, a bit of a wait, but it's totally tolerable. The food is plentiful and excellent, with very fresh anchovies and delicious paccheri. They serve excellent whole wheat bread!

05/12/2025: I searched online for the best Neapolitan pizzerias, and Sarchiapone was among the top ones... let's try it! The atmosphere was cold (both in terms of space and temperature). We ordered four pizzas, and after 50 minutes the first two arrived. Another 10 minutes later, the third arrived, and mine was still a long time coming; it didn't arrive until after the first two diners had already finished theirs. And honestly, even in Turin, I've had better pizzas...

16/11/2025: I visited Virgò in Andria and had a truly amazing experience. We started with a selection of carefully selected and flavorful appetizers. The platters deserve a special mention: top-quality cured meats, tender and fragrant, literally melting in the mouth. The pizzas were another pleasant discovery: light, well-leavened, and made with fresh ingredients. The sliced ​​meat didn't disappoint either: perfectly cooked, the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. A place that combines quality, attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. Virgò is definitely a place I'll return to and one I recommend without hesitation.

13/11/2025: Walking into a place and being told that a 2.80 kg poodle could influence the contamination of the food makes me laugh. A few meters further, we had the pleasure of going to Imperiale, and even though they also had an open kitchen, it didn't cause any problems. I still don't understand the idea of ​​not being able to eat with my dog ​​like in a normal place.

18/11/2025: Dinner for six on Saturday, November 15th. The restaurant was packed but well-organized, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, welcoming waiters. We return every year from Rome's Bagno Vignoni area for the excellent Tuscan food and the friendliness of the lady at the counter. It's a shame it's so hard to book... Highly recommended! 22/08/2025: I went back to Calabria for the holidays and never would I have ever thought to find such a cosy and good restaurant!! The ambiance is an italian’s old traditional tavern, which I immediately loved, but revisited to the modern days (for example, they made a beautiful terrace outside to eat and enjoy the hot summer temperatures). The food is really good, and the quantities of the plates are very very copious! I loved the Antipasto, rich of food from the area, like “Anduja”, and delicious chickpeas, beans and parmigiano di melanzana! But what’s more delightful are the Arancini! I asked and they told me they are homemade. I regret not asking for the recipe ahahah My friend took a Panino Inferno and it was huge! He couldn’t finish it, so everyone took a piece and tried it: it’s a 10 out of 10. The bread is made in the pizza’s oven, and the ingredients mix so well together. I don’t really like spicy things but Anduja made me change completely idea. It was the first time trying it and I loved the taste. The service was fast and super excellent. Chef Laura tried all the way to communicate with me even though I only spoke english, and this was very kind of her. Unfortunately I didn’t take any picture because we were too amazed.. but next time we will, for sure! I would highly recommend this restaurant, for foreigners and for locals too. Don’t forget to support small activities like this, and don’t underestimate them, because they will surprise you, just like La Taverna dei 7 Peccato did to me. 30/11/2025: Two of us had dinner and were greeted very professionally. We ate fried tortelli, parmesan flan, gnocco fritto, and tigelle. What can I say? The gnocco fritto was a soft, non-greasy cloud... heavenly. The cured meats and cheeses were excellent too! Everything was truly delicious! Alessandra was extremely attentive to our needs (food allergies). She never stopped making sure everything was okay, both at our table and at the other tables. We will definitely be back.

22/10/2025: Visited this hard to find diamond of piemont soul food. Tasty mixed plate and special local bread. Best risotto ever, great wine mixed with an ambiance of love. Grazie mille!

05/10/2025: An excellent find just a stone's throw from Alessandria. In a friendly, homey atmosphere, you can enjoy refined and attentive cuisine. The manager is courteous and professional. The risottos are fantastic, especially the ones with chicken livers, and the other dishes on the menu are equally as delicious. Recommended!

08/12/2025: The place really needs a name change: calling itself a trattoria creates a completely different expectation than what you actually get. The portions aren't trattoria-like, nor are the prices, and just the exterior gives the illusion of entering a simple, down-to-earth place. The food is certainly good, well-cooked, and of high quality, but the prices are significantly higher than average, especially considering the quantities served. The worst thing, however, is the coffee: €4 for a nearly undrinkable coffee is truly shocking. In many places, it's even free, but here they serve it to you in a spectacular mug... only to find out when you're checking out that they didn't even sell you the cup! What I find unacceptable is the lack of clarity and lack of customer service. In a place that calls itself a "trattoria," if I ask for coffee, I expect a normal product and a normal price: it would have been enough to let you know in advance that it was a special coffee and that it cost €4. When I pointed out that the price was excessive, I was told that "they usually bring the menu to be transparent." It's a shame that this wasn't done with us. And despite the report, no action, no attention: total disregard for the customer. And this is precisely the main reason why I wouldn't return or recommend it: not for the food, but for the lack of clarity and care toward those who enter.

21/11/2025: I've been living in this neighborhood for a couple of years now, and I regularly go to Nicco's. The food is top-notch, with those simple yet uniquely flavorful home-style dishes, always fresh ingredients, and interesting specials. The staff is fantastic; you always feel at home, which isn't a given, without ever being intrusive, always kind and friendly. Go there, you won't regret it.
