03/08/2025: An excellent and well-kept location that transports you to a bygone era. The staff is welcoming, very professional, and knowledgeable. Among the many restaurants I've tried in Sicily, this is one of the best. The cellar offers a wide selection of wines, and the staff is knowledgeable and ready to help you pair the right wine with the right food. I highly recommend it.

15/08/2025: Non avevamo la prenotazione ed era così affollato che non potevamo avere un tavolo, ma prendiamo qualcosa al bar e si sentiva odore ogni piatto che passava attraverso i nostri occhi, tutto molto bello. Si presenta come uno dei più recenti Palermo e consigliato posti per mangiare, quindi dovremo tornare un"altra volta!

22/07/2025: Discovered by chance because it's very close to our B&B, we loved it so much we went there two nights in a row. The food is simply exquisite: everything is fresh, impeccably cooked, and in truly generous portions (the likes of which you don't see anymore). Very friendly and super-fast service. Very fair prices. The location is intimate and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

01/08/2025: The restaurant looks good and the service is friendly, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The arancini and caponata weren't bad, but the pasta dishes were decidedly too greasy and heavy. The anchovies alla beccafico, which I was eagerly anticipating, were the real disappointment: tasteless, I left them on my plate. It's a shame, because Palermo deserves much better from a gastronomic standpoint.

16/07/2025: We were on our way from Genoa to Zurich and looking for a place to have lunch. Fortunately, we found this restaurant which is open until 3 PM for lunch time👍 The owner welcomed us warmly and the food was super good and not too salty, and the interior was clean with a pleasant mood. It seemed to be a popular place for locals, but the staff spoke English and guided us kindly🩷 I highly recommend this place. If I ever pass by here again, I will definitely come back. See you next time!

18/07/2025: We had lengua en salsa verde. Although the feeling was cold (on warm bread), it was delicious. This is a Sandwich equivalent,in terms of size. Atmosphere is very vibrant, market like as the name suggests.

11/08/2025: We stayed with Sara and Igor last weekend, aiming to "escape the heat." We had a wonderful time; the room was perfect for mountain style, surrounded by greenery. It's an excellent starting point for various hikes. We also stopped for dinner, and everything was delicious. We'll definitely be returning. P.S. We'll be wearing a sweater in the evenings, even on this hot weekend! :-)

21/06/2025: A beautiful and casual discovery: on the way back from Porto Cesareo we stopped in Veglie for breakfast. First we found another place, Roxy, which is only an ice cream shop and very kindly directed us to Helena to have our first meal of the day. What can I say, truly excellent quality, croissants as good as you would not find in much more populous and well-equipped towns and top quality biscuits, pastries and coffee. I lowered the rating for the service only because you have to bring things to the table yourself as well as clear the table and because seeing employees with their cell phones on duty is never nice: I understand in times of lack of public, but with a full place it is not the best. In any case it is a must visit if you happen to be in those parts, and I regret not having been able to try the ice cream shop too.

27/07/2025: It's an all-meat restaurant. The quality of the meat is incredible! It was cooked perfectly and the meat was juicy and succulent. We shared several cuts and types, and everything was exceptional. The service could be improved, but the quality was so good that we'll definitely be back. Our favorite was the picanha with chimuchurri sauce.

18/06/2025: Usually, like the great Vincenzo Mollica, I do not comment negatively on something or someone, I prefer not to talk about it and forget. However, this time I decided to derogate, because an important event for my family was ruined by inappropriate and completely inadequate behavior of those who served our table. Therefore I will forget this unwelcoming and unprofessional place. The table service is improvised, without attention, with a lot of unjustified waiting and with completely out of place considerations, even to legitimate requests from us: there is the feeling of disturbing and makes you want to leave as soon as possible. I advise against attending.

09/07/2025: A must-try. This restaurant has been open for about 70 years and has been run by the same family for generations. The hospitality is top-notch, and the food is superbly prepared. When the lady saw we'd really enjoyed the crostini with pâté, she spontaneously brought us another portion. I call this a little treat. I personally had the Italian-style appetizer, made with delicious local ingredients, but the incredibly delicious pappardelle with hare was a cut above, and then the guinea fowl with its cooking juices you could dip your face in. Superb! To top it all off, the homemade desserts were accompanied by coffee and grappa, which she left with the entire bottle. But the incredible thing is the prices. We're talking first courses between €6 and €9 with truly sizable portions, and second courses between €9 and €15—basically, prices stuck in the '80s, with truly high-quality food, believe me. So if you're passing through Narni, pop into Trattoria Tiberina in Taizzano and you won't regret it.

12/08/2025: The focaccia with onion was amazing. It tasted like our Polish onion soup—a beautiful thing. The same with the bell peppers—also great. I also tried the focaccia with Parma ham, which was quite strange—there were like cubes of ham on top, which were completely impossible to chew and eat. What's more, after returning home, we had a sudden craving for 🚽. It's possible that not all the ingredients were fresh 🍕

07/08/2025: A wide selection of focaccias for all tastes. We tried the one with onion and tuna and onion, which were delicious and satisfying. There are small tables on site where you can enjoy them, or you can take them home.

15/06/2025: Super! Quiet and welcoming place. The environment is well-kept and clean, with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The sheep arrosticini are really excellent: well cooked, tasty and served at the right temperature. The pumpkin gnocchi with parmesan fondue are also delicious, delicate but rich in flavor! The staff is helpful, courteous and attentive to the needs of customers. A very positive experience, definitely worth repeating!
