29/07/2025: On our way back from vacation, we stopped in Ortona and discovered this restaurant somewhat randomly via GPS, and it was exactly what we were looking for: a restaurant where you can feel like you're having Sunday lunch at grandma's house, where you sit down at the table and know you'll wake up full and, above all, enjoying a delicious meal. Gianluca's service is not for the faint of heart, nor for the snobbish. He's the star of the place, and with laughter, stories, and everything in between, he truly made us feel at home. Kudos especially to the ladies in the kitchen, because they're truly amazing. The appetizers, with tomatoes, have REAL flavor, and the roasted cheese is truly superb. But the highlight is the first course: handmade pasta, stratospheric tomato ravioli. A dish that seems "simple," but the combination of truly excellent handmade pasta with a real filling and a sauce made with real, locally sourced ingredients is the dish that impressed us the most. The chitarrina al ragù was delicious. For the second course, we had arrosticini, and I have to say that between Vasto, Termoli, and the center of Ortona, these are the best I've ever had; they literally melted in my mouth. NOT FOR THE FAKE OF HEART

27/07/2025: Surrounded by greenery, this fully renovated period farmhouse offers a varied and delicious menu, from burgers to pizzas to desserts. You can also eat outside. There's an adjacent brewery, which you can tour. The only drawback is the lack of table service.

27/07/2025: Ci andiamo 4 o 5 volte l'anno. Il posto è sempre bellissimo, soprattutto in estate. Cibo di grande sapore e qualità, anche se alcuni prezzi un po' ingiustificati (i dolci). Il problema è l'atteggiamento di parte del personale (spiace dirlo, ma soprattutto quello femminile) . Alcune cassiere/cameriere hanno spesso un'aria scocciata e arrogante e tentano di farti passare per scemo quando ordini qualcosa che non è più in menu (ma che c'è sempre stato, come confermato dal bravissimo chef). L'esperienza, soprattutto con un bel gruppo di amici e amanti delle birre, è sempre consigliata, forse sarebbe il caso di selezionare meglio chi ha a che fare col pubblico, come già si fa con chi spilla e chi cucina.

03/08/2025: A splendid agriturismo immersed in nature, just a few kilometers from the enchanting Castelmezzano. The food is excellent and plentiful, the rooms and pool are very clean, and above all, the staff is very kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

29/07/2025: A truly wonderful place, a true gem in Alghero, Sardinia. They offer some truly unique pizzas, such as horse meat and bottarga. The atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend it. It's very affordable, efficient, and truly delicious.

28/07/2025: È frequentato dalle persone del luogo e si respira una calda atmosfera. Il menù è a prezzo fisso, 15€, e contempla un primo, un secondo con contorno, acqua e caffè. C'è una proposta di alcuni piatti fuori menù a cui bisogna aggiungere qualcosa. Disponibile la pasta senza glutine. Tutto ciò che abbiamo assaggiato era buonissimo in particolare il formaggio fritto e i tortelli al ragù Cortese e veloce il servizio.

The ingredients are of quality, even the prosecco is excellent. Last note, very clean. Suitable for couples, families and friends. We go often. Honest prices given the quality.

Pub, bistro, brewery you can remember it with any name but it is simply Frà Luppolo. A place where you can eat at Km 0 and drink with culture. If you come here then you come back. Guaranteed.

20/06/2025: We enjoyed a lovely evening at Fra Luppolo. Excellent selection of beers on tap and bottled, including some brewed by the owner. Francesco had great recommendations for both beer and food, and was a wonderful host. The food was delicious - local specialties made from quality ingredients. An excellent way to finish up our day exploring Gubbio! We definitely recommend this bar, and will absolutely be back again!
