We were immediately drawn in by the owner's warm and engaging welcome to passersby, a true invitation to come in! The dishes they offer are prepared with high-quality local products and are truly delicious. The service is also attentive, fast, and meticulous. A stop is a must! Highly recommended.

05/11/2025: Even though place is looks nice but pizza it’s so bad the dough and overall the texture is strange. Bolognese is pasta is nice but the meat is strange I mean I could go to other places for the same price and better plus the portion size is smaller than I expected, plus it’s quiet loud there

04/11/2025: We went to eat here after visiting the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. The food was good, but we really didn't like the lasagna, as it had more cheese than sauce and simply wasn't to our taste.

04/09/2025: I went for dinner. From a wide selection of traditional cuisine and pizzas, I opted for a pizza. It was good, with high crusts and excellent toppings. The staff was courteous and friendly. A good place for a simple dinner.

25/10/2025: At lunchtime, we deliberately drove off the road to this restaurant for the pizza that was advertised. The service was unfriendly and completely uninterested in communicating in any language (English, German, Spanish) other than the local one. Using sign language and a dictionary on his smartphone, the waiter explained that pizza was only available in the evenings. We decided to stay anyway, and that was a mistake. One of the dishes we ordered – Tagliolini al ragu (ragu is the name of a meat sauce made with slowly simmered meats, usually beef and pork) – was pasta with leftover sausages and hot dogs. The food was terrible, and the service was rude. We definitely recommend avoiding this place.

21/10/2025: The food here is pretty good. Everything we ordered was great. The pizza was light, crispy crust with just the right amount of chew, topped with creamy melted cheese, savory prosciutto, fresh mushrooms, and some Parmesan. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly, super juicy and tasty, and the roasted potatoes on the side were spot on. Seafood platter, was nice. everything was made with care and top-quality ingredients. Also this place does not charge cover seat!!!

17/11/2025: Dinner for two in a small, rustic, and welcoming setting run by young people. Excellent recommendation for a light wine, which, as one of the very kind ladies said, proved to be "drinkable." The braised beef was delicious and flavorful, and their ribollita was delicious, as was the strudel. Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended.

26/10/2025: A wonderful discovery in Rome in the Fidene district, a family-run trattoria that brought us back to our youth. Excellent first courses, very abundant, various fried seafood, very clear cod fillet as per Roman tradition... Abundant... vast selection of excellent quality bottles of wine. The efficient and friendly staff. The bill for the quality makes you leave with a SMILE..... MUST VISIT..... I recommend booking

04/08/2025: The meat, it must be said, was truly excellent. But everything else left a bitter taste in my mouth—in every sense. IF YOU GO, ASK IN ADVANCE IF THE INGREDIENTS ARE PRESENT. My girlfriend ordered a sandwich that, according to the menu, should have included beef carpaccio, arugula, stracciatella, and mayonnaise. She specifically asked for only the mayonnaise to be removed, but instead found herself served a sandwich with only carpaccio and arugula, which was also very bitter. No trace of the stracciatella, which should have balanced the dish. We pointed out the mistake, and after a few minutes, the dish was returned exactly as it was, accompanied by a rather disarming explanation: "The stracciatella is out." No one bothered to communicate this beforehand, nor to offer an alternative—a simple mozzarella, for example, would have saved the dish and the service as well.

20/09/2025: Breakfast is nothing special. The room in the main fortress is authentic, but requires renovation. The hotel itself is in an impressive location, has a park, and the authenticity of the fortress has been maintained in the spacious spaces.

01/12/2025: A restaurant in the heart of Brescia. We went for lunch on Sunday. Excellent dishes, top-quality ingredients. We tried two trios of mixed appetizers and a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, a 9. For my first course, I had the "Bigoli al ragù," a 8.5. For my second course, the "Rolled Rabbit"—the butter absolutely melted in your mouth. A 10. The service was excellent, despite it being packed, always impeccable and friendly. My only small complaint was that it wasn't easy to find, as it's in an area where parking is difficult. Inside, it's quite small, reminiscent of an old-fashioned tavern. The prices are reasonable for the location and quality. I recommend booking, especially on weekends. Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: A typical restaurant just steps from Piazza della Loggia: traditional first courses at reasonable prices, very fast service, and friendly staff. Be careful, they have two sittings at least on Sundays. We'll definitely return.

The experience is completed by the small, carefully selected vials of wine, perfect for accompanying the dish without overpowering it. A place that captivates with its simplicity and quality.

20/11/2025: A convivial lunch with many friends—there were 17 of us, and they welcomed us on a Sunday without any major issues. Of course, you need to book in advance. Excellent food, generous and delicious appetizers, from parmigiana to broccoli rabe, from mozzarella to prosciutto. A Genovese pasta dish for the first course was also very good.

13/11/2025: At Umberto's, there's a sense of history, and indeed it's there. You can order gluten-free dishes without a problem. The spaces are comfortable and the tables are spaced appropriately. Service is fast, but on weekends, the waiters can be a bit nervous, which is understandable given the crowds. The fried foods are light and tasty. The price is in line with the location and the menu.
