I expected a typical trattoria of the same caliber, but instead I found it quite ordinary.
Of course, this is a matter of personal taste and is indisputable.
The atmosphere is very dark, and the blackboards mix elements of Vicenza tradition with English phrases. The interior is full of German phrases, but I forgot to elaborate. Perhaps there's a specific reason, but I found it inappropriate for a place that calls itself a typical trattoria.
Finally, the Vicenza-style cod was completely different from the flavors I had imagined... I didn't detect the onion, I didn't detect the anchovies, I didn't detect the Parmesan cheese... In short, a fundamentally bland dish. What a shame.

This is a very special place. A lovely room and a warm welcome.
The food is deeply rooted in the local tradition, with a creative twist that really works. Both of us ate off the specials menu, a delicious creamy lasagna with asparagus and toasted almonds and pappardelle with guinea fowl, absolutely delicious.
To follow we had melting chocolate cake, a standard dessert which the chef somehow managed to elevate, making it lighter and yet more chocolatey than usual and it also had the perfectly judged addition of a few strips of orange peel.
A very good reason for going back to Vicenza

We ordered the goat cheese entry with caramelized sauce, the roasted chicken with gravy and trippa con polenta. We loved the seasoning, quality of the food and how soft everything was. The chicken melted in the mouth!! Also, the cheesecake basco was 11/10. Definitely the place for a romantic date for dinner✨

Just delicious. The dishes are both classics and from other cuisines but with a twist. Atmosphere is very cozy and the team is wonderful. Highly recommended

Truly exceptional! Let's start with the staff, very helpful and kind. Even though we hadn't booked, they went out of their way to get us the first available table in a short time. The food was fabulous. We ordered a small platter, but it was still full of different things—not the usual two slices of cold cuts or cheeses, but everything was fantastic. I can't even begin to tell you about the bigoli with duck. The warm chocolate heart cake was so good. The price was very fair. The place is small but quaint, lovely and welcoming. We'll be back as soon as we can.

Daily specials - highly recommended. The chef's work is very high-quality. 😎The cozy interior emphasizes the local vibe. Very pleasant girls work in this restaurant. Excellent restaurant near the historic center. Outdoor seating is also available during the summer months. In the winter, however, (given the restaurant's size), reservations are recommended.
