27/09/2025: It's always a pleasure to experience the owner's passion. Besides being kind and helpful, he shares all his experience and professionalism in cooking traditional Reggio Emilia dishes. Even though the mushrooms weren't top-notch (porcini mushrooms don't grow in the lower Reggio Emilia area), 5 stars are always confirmed. Thanks also for the excellent frozen limoncello to finish. A must-try in the province!

28/09/2025: We ate here a few times during our holiday. Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff and a fantastic view. They also have an excellent house wine 🍷🙂 We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again!

19/09/2025: The certainty of eating well. At Cigliere, we met truly kind staff. The pizzas are delicious: thin and well-topped. The homemade cheesecake with berries picked by the owners is simply exceptional. For an evening with friends or a relaxing evening, it's the ideal place. Angela, Filippo, and Mia (Labrador)

21/09/2025: The atmosphere is bright and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu isn't overly extensive. The meat is top-quality and reasonably priced. There's not much seating, so reservations are recommended.

10/10/2025: We were incredibly satisfied after dining here! There's a wide variety of meats; we had the Marchigiana (recommended) and it was divine! We also loved the cold cuts appetizer; the quality is immediately apparent. A quick aside: I'm celiac, and so is Massimiliano, the owner, and he served us delicious homemade bread and focaccia! So, this place is highly recommended for gluten-free options, too.

02/10/2025: I was last here in 2011. Since then, it has undergone extensive renovations, but the balance between tradition and modernity hasn't been completely achieved. Nevertheless, it's a good hotel with first-class service and good cuisine in a wonderful setting, albeit in a remote location.

01/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel at the end of August, two families with teenage children. The hotel has everything you need: a pool, a hot tub, and a lovely spa. The breakfast was good and complete, as was the dinner, with good quality and variety. The staff was helpful. There's also a games area with ping pong, billiards, and foosball. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars is the lack of a bidet, which, given the hotel's recent renovation and the spacious bathroom...it wasn't a bad thing...since a bidet is a VERY USEFUL feature! Otherwise, everything was perfect.

14/10/2025: Fantastic hotel. Staff are absolutely wonderful and so friendly. Rooms spotlessly clean, had a kettle and English Tea, much appreciated. Very nice breakfast. Hotel is nice and secure. The area itself is a bit industrial but we knew this. Far from Rome but handy for the beach at Torvaianica. Supermarket just over the road. Also had a fridge in the room. Really good standard of accommodation and plenty of parking. Safe in the room too. Friendly staff are really what makes this place they are impeccably trained. We stayed at another hotel in Pomezia before, but this is the best

Not only was it included free of charge, but the quality and variety were absolutely excellent. It was the perfect start to our day, offering plenty of delicious options for both adults and my son. Having such a high-quality, complimentary breakfast really adds significant value to the stay and simplifies morning routines. ​The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space for us after a day of exploring. ​Overall, the Simon Hotel Pomezia exceeded our expectations. For anyone traveling to the area, especially with family, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional value, wonderful atmosphere, and truly excellent complimentary breakfast.

The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy! PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!

26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.

28/10/2025: Always a wonderful "final stop" after the hike from Nago-Torbole to Pregasina. Friendly service, good drinks, wonderful view. :-) Afterwards, you set off refreshed and invigorated on the return journey! ☆☆☆

05/11/2025: Charged twice — terrible experience. I felt scammed, and it seems common in touristy places. (What a rip-off.) The food was just average, nothing special, but don’t trust the prices. The waiter offered us a “special” truffle carbonara (never saw any real truffle, maybe just truffle oil), and the dish that was listed as €14 on the menu suddenly became €28. Also, don’t even think about asking for bread — they’ll bring a “double portion” on the same tray (which makes no sense for a table of 10), and the price goes from €4 to €8. They added a 10% charge, saying it was VAT, and then told us that the tip had to be paid separately.

Professionalism, quality, and passion are the three words that best describe what you experience when you enter their shop. The meat is simply superb: carefully selected, fresh, and always top-quality. Each cut is expertly and courteously recommended, and you can sense the vast experience they put into their work.
