The dishes were plentiful and well-served, and the wine was excellent and reasonably priced.
I recommend it and will be back soon.
07/09/2025: We had dinner at La Mandragola and it was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, matched only by the exceptional service. The setting in the courtyard is warm and comfortable, making the whole experience feel special. A memorable spot in San Gimignano that I’d happily return to.

04/12/2025: Drawn by the reviews, we came to try this restaurant for dinner.
It was a wonderful experience; we really appreciated the natural and welcoming decor, the variety of the menu, the fast service, and the delicious dishes. We were especially pleased with the risotto portions, which were finally neither excessive, which would otherwise be overwhelming, nor paltry. They also offered us a delicious focaccia as an entrée.
The dishes were truly tasty and original; I loved the yogurt mousse and the mushroom and blueberry risotto. We can't wait to return to try the rest of the offerings!

The service was amazing, they were even willing to send me with the cutest to-go container since the Bolognese portions are big! My son and I enjoyed select spritzes and coffees for dessert. Just a wonderful experience!
20/11/2025: The waiters are lovely, attentive to your every need, and they tailor the menu to your preferences. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. We were delighted with the service and would definitely return a thousand times.

19/10/2025: It could have been better! A very nice restaurant and very kind staff... I expected something more from the food! Also, welcoming dogs, even large ones, means sacrificing humans who don't like eating with hair flying around and the smell of dog in the air!
I understand the choice, but I wish I'd known better!
15/10/2025: This review pertains to a dinner experience. The service and the atmosphere are decent.
However, the food was not good. Both our primi and secondi dishes lacked flavor. Including salinity and seasoning. Additionally, the dishes were not served below an ideal temperature.

The wine list is excellent, as are all the dishes. The first courses are very reasonably priced for the quality, and that's not even mentioning the meat and mushrooms. Absolutely worth a try.
The excellent service is also noteworthy.
16/11/2025: Excellent lunch at Venelia, our first time there. The dining room is large, a bit noisy, but within limits. The management of the many tables and the incoming customers was exceptional. The lady and the young woman in the dining room were excellent, kind, and super professional. That's how you do business, congratulations! We'll definitely be back. Well done!!!

09/11/2025: San Francisco prices, but we're in San Francisco! They boasted about masterful steaks, but sadly, we weren't satisfied with either the cooking or the cut. The steak brought to the table with the correct weight had excessive fat (although we like to enjoy a proportionate amount of fat with the meat, in this case it was proportionately more fat than meat). Although we commented on our surprise at the high amount of fat, they told us that steak should be enjoyed with the fat. It wasn't the first dry-aged steak we've ever eaten, but it will certainly be the last we'll eat at this place. The bill was €530 for two steaks (totaling 2.6 kg) and a bottle of wine without a €1 discount. Despite our disappointment.
