Second time at this restaurant, and the positive review continues. The house appetizer was excellent and plentiful, and the agnolotti were very good. The desserts were also good. Attentive and friendly service. Excellent value for money. Recommended.

Easter April 2026
Always a positive experience with the set menu on April 5, 2026, for Easter lunch (see attached photo). EVERYTHING was PERFECT, both with the telephone table reservation with the kind Alessia, and with the waitress, Adele, who was quick and courteous during the Easter meal, with about 250 customers, and with the quality, deliciousness, and freshness of the food served.
THANK YOU!!

We returned again after a good first experience in June on a weekday, and we must reiterate the excellent quality of the food and service, provided by the very kind and prompt Alessia. I won't describe the new dishes we tried, other than the EXQUISITE and UNIQUE polenta concia d'Oropa... the photos are enough to understand the delicacy... always TOP... truly mouth-watering with moderate prices... €94 for 4 people with 3 first courses (with seconds), 2 second courses, 5 desserts, 1 coffee, 1 375ml bottle of Dolcetto wine, 1 Menabrea Weiss beer, and 1 bottle of mineral water... in a family-friendly, clean, and warm atmosphere.

Recommended by relatives who live in the area, a simple, family-run, clean restaurant with ALL the food "homemade," run by a local family. Service is fast and friendly, courtesy of young Alessia and a very courteous lady...with free seconds and even thirds of their most famous specialty, POLENTA CONCIA di OROPA (with lots of local toma cheese and butter, melted in soft polenta...see attached photos and video).
There are many good dishes to choose from on the menu, something for all tastes...at very reasonable prices...accompanied by a good red wine, Barbera or Dolcetto, or a good 0.75L craft beer...I recommend "La Blanche Louise" from the local artisanal company UN TERZO...light, fresh, light, and full-bodied, like the renowned German Weiss and Belgian or Dutch Wits...and low in alcohol (5%)...for those who drive and don't want to get in trouble with police checks.
I'm attaching some photos of the dishes we tasted...they speak for themselves, illustrating the deliciousness and quality of the ingredients used.
Total cost for 4 people: 1 appetizer, 4 first courses (with two polentas), 1 second course, 4 desserts, 3 glasses of red wine, and 1 75cl beer = €112. For me, excellent value.
Just one additional tip: if you go on a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday...BOOK!!...because many people know about it...and ENJOY YOUR MEAL!!

We met there for lunch after a very pleasant guided tour.
It's a very large place with a large crowd, so be patient because you'll have to wait.
I suggest either the à la carte or set menu; then it's up to you what you eat.
Plenty of outdoor parking.
The restaurant has clearly expanded over time, as it has many rooms and the menus and decor are all different.

The best polenta concia in the area, without a doubt, but the mushroom crepes and meat with polenta are also excellent.
A very beautiful and quaint place, with friendly but somewhat slow service. The place is always busy, especially on weekends, so I recommend making a reservation.

Lunch with friends. Excellent food, attention to detail and food intolerances. Polenta concia was excellent, practically like home cooking. The guys who served us were very kind. Excellent place. Highly recommended. I hope to return soon.
