The open kitchen and well-stocked fish counter. The raw fish are nothing special, but I'm originally from Bari and am used to much higher standards. Various types of shrimp, the usual tartare. The raw cuttlefish needs a complete overhaul, and the red mullet fillet is tasteless... Very fresh oysters... The Trabaccolara (house specialty) is excellent. Delicious desserts.

02/12/2025: Still a positive experience, even after a while. Very good, carefully prepared dishes and generous portions. Fast service despite the crowds. The place is welcoming, though a bit crowded. Will definitely return.
29/11/2025: In a well-stocked restaurant I don't expect mixed fried fish that tastes of used oil and is soft, in my opinion unpresentable. I hope it was an oversight and in any case this review is not intended to be polemical but only to give some ideas for improvement.

I was hungry and forgot to take photos.

19/11/2025: The nigiri were excellent (the shrimp melted in your mouth) despite the rice being a bit hard, while the uramaki didn't differ much from the all-you-can-eat options. The atmosphere was very nice, the service good, but the prices were perhaps a bit too high.

20/08/2025: Last night I tried this restaurant for the first time (the summer opening is in Casalbuttano at the former Osteria La Grande).
There were two of us; we each had a first course and a second course shared.
Everything was delicious, and the place was truly lovely. We paid €58 (with water).
Highly recommended restaurant ☺️

16/10/2025: Delicious, homemade, and freshly prepared bread. We had the vegan version, and it was absolutely fantastic! Fresh vegetables and generous toppings. Great value for money. Perfect snack for in between meals. Highly recommended :-)
08/10/2025: Just okay, 30 mins wait for a sandwich, there is an order system but between our order and the next they randomly served 6. Fillings left exposed to flies. No hygiene wear. Expensive and time consuming for a snack that could have made at home. Don't go at peak times if you're diabetic or in a hurry.

Having read the reviews, we went there to try these "Fantastic" dishes…!!!???????
You really have to want to go up to Falerna village, but we thought it was worth it for a good meal.
Date: October 4th:
Huge disappointment!!! Nothing was good, the tripe was disgusting, defrosted, reheated, overheated, with a long hair in the dish. 😱🤮 I felt like throwing up 🤮 My appetite was completely ruined!
The three kinds of meatballs, eggplant, and rice were all bland.
The rest of the dishes were the same, inedible!
This isn't typical Calabrian cuisine!
It's the worst restaurant in all of Lamezia Terme!!!
Avoid it at all costs….

01/12/2025: Bitonto Cathedral is a splendid place, rich in history and charm. It's a shame that the current management doesn't reflect that same beauty: an unsympathetic, rigid, and distant attitude risks creating coldness rather than welcome.
It's particularly striking to hear someone call the Cathedral "my home," when it should be the house of the Lord and a place open to all.
Those who lead a community should know how to welcome the faithful, listen to them, and make them feel part of something, not push them away. With more attention to people, this place would truly live up to its history.

22/11/2025: A welcoming place with friendly staff, simple traditional dishes (just as they should be in a farmhouse) with excellent quality ingredients. It's a shame the din from the diners (the place was packed) prevented conversation at the table. Overall, a positive experience, I recommend it.

We've always eaten well and very plentifully.

02/10/2025: Hamburger is really good and tasteful. But waiter is too rude with everyone. And also french fries came cold we asked to change and he bring new ones also cold. It wasn’t fresh.

24/09/2025: When I want to eat seafood, this is the only restaurant I think of. From appetizers to main courses, it's a journey of flavor and quality. The atmosphere is intimate and refined, yet you feel at ease, thanks in large part to Claudio, who to call a waiter would be an understatement. He's sweet and knowledgeable, the icing on the cake for this magical place.

It’s perfect to enjoy a glass of wine or two and a few dishes in a laid back atmosphere or for takeaways.
