15/09/2025: Excellent food here and prices were not bad for the quality and portion. We ordered several of the pastas including one with shrimp, one with amberjack and eggplant and one with a ragu and meatballs. All the pastas were tasty and the freshly made pasta was cooked perfectly. The fried sardines were amazing and a must get. We also got the seabass and fried shrimp and calamari which were both delicious. For dessert we got the pana cotta and tiramisu which were solid. Overall, really tasty food and definitely get the fresh pastas!

19/10/2025: Rustic yet perfectly integrated into the historic center, with stone walls and wooden beams on the ceiling. A warm atmosphere. The cuisine features classic local dishes, from lake fish to risotto, mushrooms, quail, and stuffed pasta. I tried the quail and the Sforzato risotto. Both were delicious (especially the quail).

01/11/2025: A discovery during a trip. We ate well, with traditional dishes. Everything was plentiful. I recommend it.
20/10/2025: It may be good, but I didn't get around to trying it. I sat down and waited. Four people were serving, I waved and they looked at me but didn't see me. Even when the next table ordered coffees and was served, I wasn't asked anything. After 15 minutes of waiting, I left. What a shame!

21/12/2025: We ended up in Rovolon for a special event and will almost certainly never return. But Montegrande welcomed us magnificently! Great hospitality from the moment we arrived (with a facility for people with reduced mobility and wonderful flexibility in this regard), attentive and delicate service, beautiful plating, and delicious, very light food. For us (a couple), it was a "random" experience (we didn't plan on eating in Rovolon, we just made the last-minute decision) but definitely a pleasant one.
21/12/2025: Excellent quality and variety for the price. Cuisine mostly from the Euganean Hills, but also with various additions. Great view, as is the parking lot.

14/12/2025: The atmosphere is simple and homey. The pizzas are excellent. For larger groups, there's also the option of a "pizza tour," where you can sample several gourmet pizzas with unique ingredients, but the pairings are always spot on.

14/12/2025: The food was excellent, worthy of a Michelin-starred chef. The beautifully decorated dining room created the perfect atmosphere. The service was excellent, with the staff attentively serving the ladies first, and special attention was paid to those with allergies and intolerances, not only by offering alternative dishes but also by marking the guest's location with a place card.

Excellent quality and flavorful appetizers.
The Carnaroli risotto was amazing, and the meat-based main course was exceptional. Damiano Dorati, for me, confirms one of the best restaurants in the Oltrepò Pavese area. Must try!

02/12/2025: It's true that quality comes at a price, but a price adjustment would allow the establishment to achieve a five-star rating with honors. Otherwise, the dishes are impeccable, the ingredients and their preparation are excellent, and the service staff are impeccable and extremely kind. But, I repeat, it's a bit overpriced, starting with a cover charge of a whopping €3.50 per person.
02/12/2025: Everything was fine here at this cute bistro until the bill arrived.
Being charged 27€ for one small piece of cake and 2 glasses of house wine - both of which were, of course, not on the menu, made me feel a bit cheated.
We will not return - as was probably expected.
