20/05/2025: The magnificence of the classic. Beautiful place, classic without nostalgic drifts. Owner in the dining room, star of the service that is super efficient and, thank God, silent and invisible when it needs to be. Everything is quality, from the minerals to the fine wines, to the napkins. Finally garlicky pesto, male, real, not the now widespread version, watered down to please everyone. Tasty, fresh, oven-fresh focaccias. Compact Umbrina, cooked with the utmost respect for the, very fine, raw material. More than honest bill, for me, even low.

Nothing against the establishment but against the town before Amalfi! The Italians do not seem to like the French, it is now reciprocal especially the light of their welcome and the cleanliness of the roads, towns...

Few seats, everything managed by the owner who offers different dishes every day. Everything is delicious. Congratulations Caterina, we will definitely come back to visit you!

She cooks everything on the spot, the pici pulled at the moment even the involtino cooked express. I've never eaten in a place like this. The moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and filled with the inviting aroma of high-quality local products. We started in the market area, which is a paradise for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian flavors. The selection of cheeses, cured meats, wines, and gourmet specialties is outstanding — all sourced locally and carefully chosen. The staff took the time to explain the different products and even offered us tastings. You can feel their passion for what they do. Then we moved to the restaurant, where the experience got even better. Every dish we ordered was a perfect blend of tradition and creativity, made with fresh ingredients and presented with great attention to detail. The flavors were incredible — rich, balanced, and full of character. You can tell the chefs truly care about their craft. La Casera is not just a restaurant or a shop; it’s a place where you feel the heart of the region — its flavors, its people, and its culture. We left with full hearts, happy stomachs, and bags full of delicious local products to take home. We can’t wait to come back. Absolutely recommended to anyone visiting Verbania!

07/06/2025: Wij waren op vakantie in de Marche. Vrienden van ons zaten dezelfde tijd in Umbrië. Wij hebben elkaar voor de lunch halverwege ontmoet in Cantiano en toevallig viel de keuze op restaurant Tenetra. Aan de buitenkant zie je niet dat het binnen gezellig toeven is. De ontvangst van de eigenaar is hartverwarmend. De spijskaart is verrassend, maar je kunt beter even luisteren wat de eigenaar buiten de kaart nog meer in de aanbieding heeft. Je zit midden in het land van de truffel, dus, als je daarvan houdt, kies voor een heerlijke primi platti met truffel. Verrukkelijk. De Patta negra, het konijn en de tagliata die volgden waren super. Alles vergezeld door een heerlijke verdicchio uit de streek. Koffie en een klein nagerecht werden gratis geserveerd. Kortom, een aanrader. Rijd er rustig voor om!!

The quality of the meat was excellent, very tender and tasty, and the desserts were delicate and delicious, completing the meal perfectly. Specialized in the cuisine of grilled meats, with a selection of fine meats, expertly cooked and served, and typical dishes of the Campania tradition. Owners professional and extremely welcoming and kind. The chef and owner is not only excellent in the kitchen but also always present and attentive to the needs of customers in the dining room. An experience truly worth trying and repeating

27/04/2025: Small place found by chance without a reservation but despite this they were very hospitable, with top hospitality and courtesy not to mention their delicacies. Congratulations to all the staff.
