26/01/2025: Fantastic experience super recommended. We stopped almost by chance, we were lucky to find a seat, we ate divinely, but above all the owner pampered us with expert skill, making us feel as if we had always been customers. If this time we stopped by chance, the next time we will return on purpose very willingly, just as a goal, shame only for the distance that separates us (80+80 km) but we had such a good time that we will certainly do these kilometers without realizing it...

18/01/2025: Scoperto grazie alla recensione della guida slow food di qualche anno fa . Come sempre succede non sbagliano un colpo . Abbiamo trovato questa locanda nella campagna poco distante da Gubbio e siamo rimasti veramente molto soddisfatti di aver mangiato da loro . Sembra si esser a casa di amici , i due camini accesi e l aria informale rendono il ristorante un ambiente molto piacevole . A questo aggiungiamo la gentilezza e la preparazione del giovanissimo oste che ci ha accompagnato per il pranzo suggerendoci le pietanze genuine che abbiamo poi consumato . Abbiamo mangiato benissimo piatti e prodotti della tradizione umbra . Eccellenti anche il pane l olio ed il vino che hanno fatto da contorno al pranzo . Conto molto più che onesto , ci torneremo sicuramente.

Ora, definirla macelleria è riduttivo: varchi la soglia ed entri in un altro mondo dove ogni prelibatezza viene prodotta, raccontata ed esaltata con amore da Luigi Valline, il deus ex machina del locale. 08/02/2025: the sandwich cupido is the best sandwich i've ever tasted in my life. there are many options with different kinds of meat, the atmosphere is friendly and everything was nicely priced!! i absolutely loved everything. definitely will be coming back. the only downside was for me the size of the sandwich. we had to get 1 sandwich for ourselves and then share half of one among the friend group bc we weren't fully satisfied with only one. (although that could be because how good they were)

31/01/2025: When I'm in the area it's now an obligatory stop and every time it's a pleasant discovery. From the bruschetta to the dessert, everything was delicious... they were worth the wait! Very kind owner.

19/01/2025: Very pleasant experience, we were passing outside and we were attracted by a cheese and cold cuts counter that seemed remarkable. Upon entering the feeling of goodness becomes palpable, everything appears well looked after. We had the venison carpaccio and the beef steak, both excellent. Excellent wine at a fair price. The only flaw is the tiramisu, not up to the standard of the rest. Highly recommended.

17/01/2025: Adorable old-fashioned little place, with the ladies in the kitchen preparing fresh and delicious pasta, simple dishes but with an authentic flavor, also excellent for buying fresh pasta to cook at home, being small it is necessary to book, easy and friendly service, they also speak English .

27/12/2024: Ci siamo fermati al nostro arrivo ad Alba per un pranzo veloce. Buona l’accoglienza anche perché il locale era vuoto. Proposta molto interessante anche per i vegetariani. Vitello tonnato rivisitato molto gustoso. Forse il prezzo un po’ eccessivo visto che abbiamo chiesto due calici di vino, un antipasto due secondi e un dolce 85 euro.

15/12/2024: We had lunch at the Albamare in Alba choosing two tasting menus: one from the land and one from the sea, accompanied by two excellent local wines, an Arneis and a Barbera. The experience was simply fantastic, a true journey through authentic flavors and tradition. Each course highlighted the exceptional quality of the raw materials and attention to detail. The plin, in particular, stood out for their taste and delicacy, a true masterpiece of Piedmontese cuisine. Even the seafood dishes provided very pleasant surprises, with balanced combinations and unparalleled freshness. The welcome was warm and genuine, with impeccable service and a pleasant chat with the owners, father and son, who passionately convey their love for their work. This human touch made the lunch even more special. A high-level culinary experience. Absolutely recommended!

Courtesy, excellent cuisine (not the masterchef type of which we are full of), small but nice place, clinical-style open kitchen, very honest bill, location in the beautiful Turin "of the past". What more can I say? Well done and I will be back...

02/01/2025: We had dinner there the week before Christmas and it was an impeccable meal. We opted for the five course option with wine pairings and were glad to not have gone with the seven course- they send out additional amuse bouches / hors d’œuvres as well as pre / post desert so we ended up having about 10 courses. The food is very precise without being overly fussy and the flavours are very well defined. Standouts include the goat milk burrata bite, smoked eel (I usually hate eel!), hare stuffed beetroot tortellini in spiced broth and the Tarte Tropézienne (surprisingly light we actually ate the whole thing!). Wine pairings were generous pours and well selected including interesting orange wines. We ate in the upstairs dining room and found the atmosphere to be a little lacking at first but once it filled up it was quite pleasant and the focus really is on the food as it should be.

03/02/2025: It was a unique experience. A mixture of amazement, anticipation, memories, emotions. An experience that overwhelms you and transports you to a parallel world, making you rediscover profound sides of yourself. As for the food it was something unique. Tastes, shapes, aromas and colors. Different textures and flavors, but together they almost form a dance, how perfectly balanced they are. I'm honest, it's hard to describe, but Sensorium you have to try at least once in your life! Thank you

26/01/2025: A dining experience that is wonderful if you can appreciate that food is another medium of art. Was concerned going in regarding the apparent experimental nature of the dishes, but every course tasted wonderful and was paired with interesting and flavorful drinks (did the alcoholic pairing). Impeccable service and an amazing time.
