12/07/2024: It is hard to find bad restaurants in Italy, except in the well known tourist traps in the Italian hot spots. But the Friuli is not that touristy and is brimming with nice villages and towns where the restaurants are frequented mostly by local people. And those restaurants better be good, because in Italy food is one of the most important things in life. Magnano in Riviera is such a town, close to the SS13 main road, but not flooded by tourists and Ristorante Pizzeria Riviera is such a restaurant which caters to the local people, who want only the best. That is why this restaurant has made it to our 'preferred' list. Check the boxes: excellent food, including pizzas from the wood fired oven, reasonable prices, good, efficient service, indoor and outdoor seating and a large free parking area next to the building. But be early for lunch, otherwise all the tables will be taken by the local people. A well deserved five point rating.
