A wonderful little bistro at the old port of Grado.
Good fish dishes, à la carte and daily specials. A large wine selection and good value for money. A lovely, sophisticated atmosphere, presumably run by the owner herself. She seemed a little reserved at first, but after a short time became very pleasant, professional, and friendly. We ate dinner there twice because we enjoyed it so much, especially the food. Very popular with German-speaking guests.

Recommended by the receptionist at the hotel where we're staying, it was a real surprise. In touristy areas, finding a place where you can enjoy good food at a fair price is generally a difficult task. It's a small but charming place facing the harbor. The staff are very friendly and professional. We had fried sardines, seafood spaghetti, a pumpkin cream with fried shrimp and crispy bacon, and to finish, a dessert, a mille-feuille with wild berries and Chantilly cream. All dishes were expertly presented. The food was high-quality, fresh, well-cooked, and delicious. Overall, we had a great time despite the tables being very close together. Highly recommended.
