01/04/2024: Small restaurant near the center.... We had lunch on Easter Monday. Delicious food, very kind and approachable owners. Super recommended The dishes taken: scampi tagliatelle alla busara, homemade crescents stuffed with prawns in tomato sauce, homemade tortelli stuffed with truffles and tomato ricotta with truffle stracciatella. All very good.

01/04/2024: How tasty! I stopped for a coffee, but given the choice I was also tempted by a dessert and... thank goodness. It was really delicious! Nice and welcoming place, service a little slow

11/03/2024: My review concerns only the wellness area. The location is undoubtedly wonderful with a view of the hill. The wellness area is sufficiently spacious, but there is no second sauna with a higher temperature than the existing one (80 degrees, honestly not enough) and even the Turkish bath is not "steamy" enough. The beverage corner, on the other hand, is very sad: -there is only a thermos of tea, so there is no possibility of choice (I would add at least a couple of herbal or fruit herbal teas) -only present biscuits found in village bars when they serve you cappuccino (you could add some dried fruit or artisanal biscuits) -paper cups in a wellness area cannot be seen!!!!! For 50 euros I think a little more accuracy is in order

03/04/2024: We were there on Easter Sunday and only discovered the restaurant by chance. Despite the low season, there was a notice on the door saying "The restaurant is full". It can't be that bad then. We tried it anyway without a reservation because we didn't want to keep looking in the rain. Restaurant was actually full, mostly Italians and a few Austrians. Nevertheless, the owner was able to get a table ready for us after a few minutes. Already the first positive experience. Until then, we enjoyed a gin and tonic at the bar. The menu is not very large in terms of both selection and format. The most important thing: three T-bone steaks of different origins for 8EUR/100g, which I don't think is exorbitant. You can choose bottled wine directly from the shelf, which I think is very good; I always prefer the tactile experience of a bottle to a wine list. Prices around 30-40EUR. The next positive experience. When I was choosing the wine, I discovered the highlight: the steaks (and fish) are prepared on an open fire. The only point of criticism: the side vegetables came a little too early and were therefore only lukewarm when the steak arrived. There was a large selection of desserts, tiramisu is always good and the crème brûlée came to the table scorching, espresso was excellent as it is almost everywhere in Italy. The conclusion was a nice chat with the boss (thanks again for the cake and grappa!) What can I say, completely satisfied and I wish we had discovered the place earlier. In summer I would definitely recommend booking a few days in advance.

19/05/2024: Excellent restaurant in Trieste. Focused on service, courtesy and quality. Very carefully prepared dishes, both in terms of ingredients and details: having such a wide range of Fioi extra virgin olive oils is not for everyone and allows you to experiment with combinations with varieties of olives from all over the country, congratulations! We tasted a truly delicate egg with potato foam; a truly tasty tartare which, combined with the various oils, is truly an ecstasy for the palate! And as a good Tuscan I must say that the boiled meatballs were delicious 😋 the wine list offers truly particular natural wines, from north to south, well done! Ps...And dogs are welcome 😗

14/04/2024: Costantini Restaurant The place is beautiful, there is no air conditioning, the service leaves something to be desired. The person responsible for serving our table was more concerned with keeping the chairs and bag holders in place than with serving our table and providing us with good service. In addition to being quite late in serving the starter. I was worried about whether the table would drink wine more than anything else. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I felt uncomfortable on the part of the staff who are more concerned with etiquette than with offering a unique experience that good restaurants have to offer us. The lack of politeness and cordiality that good service should have made me think that I will not return to this place. The experience was terrible and I prefer to eat in other places to have my rights as a customer and well-being preserved. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to have a quiet afternoon with their family.

24/03/2024: An evening as a couple with friends at Elliot Osteria in Manzano, province of Udine, proved to be an unforgettable experience from all points of view. Located on the hills full of vineyards, this spacious and welcoming venue extends over two floors, with a predominance of wood that blends with a refined elegance. The attentive staff welcomed us warmly and presented us with a very clear menu card, opening the doors to an unforgettable Friulian gastronomic journey. We started with a tasting of San Daniele Camarin raw ham accompanied by sublime pickles, followed by a toç in braide with well-presented and tasty cheese, and then the herb-crusted musetto on soft polenta and kren, a real delight. For the first courses, the asparagus risotto with dehydrated speck delighted the palate with its delicacy, while the Carnia cjarsons with herbs and smoked Malga ricotta represented an explosion of authentic and delicious flavours. The excellent beef fillet confirmed the high quality of the dishes offered. The desserts gave a final touch of class, with the fresh mandarin and punch ice cream, and the sublime apple rose with honey and cinnamon on a bed of Chantilly cream as well as the spectacular chocolate sphere filled with Torri Fino semifreddo and hot toffee sauce , which ended the evening in a memorable way. Elliot Osteria is a treasure chest on the Manzano hills, where Friulian cuisine is enhanced in every dish. The attentive and kind staff, the welcoming atmosphere and the balanced quality-price ratio make this place an excellent choice. Passed with full marks.
