Osteria degli Antenati is a place where Friulian cuisine is presented with coherence, depth, and great respect for the ingredients. The menu is rooted in tradition, yet does so with a contemporary sensibility, focusing on carefully selected local products prepared without constraints. Among the dishes we sampled, the tagliatelle with cavolo nero (black cabbage) and varhackara (vegetarian onion), a memorable example of how a Slow Food Presidium from Friuli Venezia Giulia can be enhanced with balance: distinct flavors, controlled rusticity, and a truly clean palate. The wine list is also top-notch, clearly designed by those who know and love the region: a wide selection of Friuli wines, with a selection ranging from historic names to small artisanal producers, complemented by intelligent choices from the rest of Italy. A menu that prioritizes identity, drinkability, and consistency with the cuisine, rather than trends or predictable labels. An authentic osteria, solid in its identity, where food and wine truly interact. A must-visit for those seeking authentic Friulian cuisine and a knowledgeable approach to wine. I'll definitely be back!

They welcomed us as if they'd known us forever, they were very kind, and we also ate very well. They offer typical local dishes with a modern twist. It's absolutely worth it, the desserts are truly 5* ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A very welcoming restaurant where you eat well. The cuisine is unfussy, sincere, and of high quality. The furnishings are beautiful, elegant, and understated. They have a very interesting cellar with many local wines at reasonable markups. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.
