The Piattone del Re is excellent with local dishes. The Limousine cut is tender Decent quality/price ratio Friendly service, explanatory but not intrusive.

Locale molto elegante che si trova nel centro storico. Il titolare trasmette grande competenza, professionalità e passione per il suo lavoro. Antipasto con carpaccio, fagioli con le cotiche, frittata strapazzata con tartufo, bustrego con salsiccia, trippe in umido ed infine limousine da 1 kg il tutto innaffiato da Sangiovese con 20% di Barbera. Prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo.

The king's appetizer was very good and rich, the sliced ​​with xxl potatoes was good...nice tavern with the ladies who brought the dishes always kind and helpful!

Osteria in the center of Gubbio. Not a "traditional tavern" location but still pleasant, consisting of two small rooms and a larger one. Maybe thirty or two seats. Not suitable for large companies. Due to a whole series of logistical problems they cannot guarantee the service and people with dogs and prams👩‍🦽🧑‍🦽 for both disabled people and children. Very fast and friendly staff and service. The proposal they offer is simple but extremely valid and tasty. They don't make pasta first courses but the soup with beans and pork rinds is very pleasant. The King's dish was excellent and plentiful with various local products, as were the tripes. They have a decent offering of grilled meat but I can't give any opinions as I haven't tried it....but from the nearby tables the comments were more than positive. I personally found the quality, quantity and price ratio more than honest.

Avevamo prenotato visto la grande affluenza che ci sarebbe stata per il 26 dicembre, infatti locale pieno e hanno rifiutato altre persone. Il locale sembra rammodernato, da le foto che avevo visto. Siamo stati bene, ma ci sono un paio di cose da evidenziare, una i tavoli vicini al bagno non sono da mettere( così vicini), perché non deve essere piacevole se uno ha fatto dei bisogni completi. La seconda cosa per semplificare il lavoro della cucina( va benissimo) hanno portato dei piatti del Re grandi, ma il tavolo non è così grande. Comunque piatti buoni, almeno la mia tagliata con patate arrosto. Anche i dolci molto buoni. Servizio nella norma con ragazze gentili.

25/03/2024: My boyfriend and I came here in February 2024 to celebrate together, a beautiful place, starting from the beautiful entrance at night with all the lights to indicate the entrance, then passing through the suggestive internal environment given the warm soft lights, with bottles of wine in sight and candles lit next to them + fireplace with armchairs. Unfortunately the service was slow, and other people were served before us, even though it was obvious that we had arrived earlier as there weren't many people, furthermore we were also informed late about the missing dishes (which I'm specific given that we speak of a restaurant of a certain level). Having said that, everything was very good, the tartare was very particular, really good even if the portion was a little small, a very good starter. I got a slice and it was really good and cooked well, my boyfriend got the suckling pig and it was fabulous. Very positive overall experience, the service needs to be improved just a little, to be done again!
20/03/2024: Everything was wonderful and the dishes were delicious. We need to go back
