12/04/2026: The menu is a fixed (and surprising) one, featuring quality local products and simple, delicious home-cooked cuisine. The owner entertains guests with entertaining stories, creating a lovely atmosphere. The madman will even choose the order of the courses. We finished with delicious homemade pasta! Definitely worth a try!
06/04/2026: Unique. Good, simple food. The wait between servings is considerable. The surprise menu option is a nice touch, but the dishes aren't at all generous; they're more like small bites. And you'll go hungry between each bite. The atmosphere is beautiful and original.

06/04/2026: Dinner at La Barcaccia was simply delightful.
The staff were exceptionally kind, and the service was quick and impeccable (which is far from a given, especially with a child). But the real surprise was the attention paid to our son: he was treated with incredible care, and, to top it all, they didn't even charge for his meal. A gesture that speaks volumes today.
As for the food, the strangozzi alla spoletina with asparagus were simply Oscar-worthy. Dishes were well-made, flavorful, and authentic.
A place where you eat well, but above all, you feel truly welcomed. We'll definitely be back.
05/04/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. The menu, at a fair price, pleasantly surprised us. Everything was delicious, and the staff was truly friendly and helpful. The owner had a kind word for everyone present, even accommodating those who hadn't made reservations. The kindness and honesty shown toward tourists, which are never taken for granted, made our Easter even more special. I recommend it!

08/12/2025: Decent food, impeccable service. As soon as we got to the table, we asked the waitress to change the tablecloth, otherwise she would have left the one where they had already eaten. The appetizers arrived at different times, the wait was incredibly long for the main courses, and when we asked for an explanation, no waiter showed any interest; then it turned out that the order had been lost. To forget.

A special thanks to Silvia, the lady in the dining room, who was so kind and took care of my partner's food intolerances. We had a wonderful time. 20/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, accessible via a bumpy but manageable road.
The dining room is large and welcoming, and we were delighted to have space for our daughter's stroller next to the table.
À la carte menu.
We ate wonderfully, everything was delicious!

06/01/2026: Very refined atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. As for the food, it's good and the dishes are carefully executed... one negative note, but that's a personal preference. The wine is a bit acidic, but again, that's my personal preference. The top rating isn't based on my personal taste, because I think they deserve it.
04/01/2026: Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. My partner and I booked only a few hours in advance (on a Friday evening), and yet they still accommodated us. Plus, I'm celiac, so at this restaurant I enjoyed a gluten-free "Tagliere del Postiglione" and excellent tagliolini with truffle, cooked to perfection (and celiacs know that's not common). We were offered complimentary liqueurs, and the total price was absolutely fair. My compliments to the entire staff.

07/04/2026: While our meal was simply delicious, beautifully prepared and presented, our experience was marred by rude service. Our server was dismissive and hostile, the very opposite of the warm and welcome reception in most Umbrian restaurants. We came away feeling disappointed by what should have been a really magical evening.
06/04/2026: Coming from Rome, we booked for lunch on Easter Monday. Our reservation was for 2:00 PM, and upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mirko, the owner. Lunch was a succession of five-star courses! The rib-eye steak was "popo bona," as they say in our area, as were the rabbit and the grilled Cinta Senese pork. The first courses were also excellent, but the meat was from another solar system. To finish, a perfect zuppa inglese (trifle) and typical local liqueurs. In short, let the owner advise you and the waiters pamper you. Highly recommended, given the excellent service despite the hectic Easter Monday. Thank you, Mirko, and thanks to all the staff!
