05/04/2025: The restaurant is located next to the main square of Perugia and I went there by chance after a visit to the Underground City. The cuisine is typical and the place is not touristy at all, in fact it seems to have stopped between the 60s and 90s. The dishes turned out to be exceptional (pasta with truffle and wild boar ragù and wild boar stew) as was the fast and extremely helpful service. The restaurant is located far from the passage area and is therefore very quiet. Highly recommended place for both a quick meal and a relaxing moment.

Rich breakfast, possibility of dining with an excellent quality/price ratio. Last, but not least, the exquisite kindness of the owners Sandro, Gabriella and Andrea.

25/03/2025: although visited many times before and satisfied, we now had a terrible experience, the service was very unprofessional, disorganised and bad. In the adjacent room there was a very long table with many American guests and obviously caught all the attention of the staff. We had to call the staff (meaning walking to the other room) on several occasions asking for service. Furthermore there was a confusion about the order which could have easily been dealt with by asking instead of assuming.. the result is that food for two of the four guests where warmed up in order to serve the main course for us (4) at the same time..

27/03/2025: I don't even know where to start. Everything was a masterpiece. The road to get there is certainly not easy for those who are used to the city but we assure you that it will be worth it! We arrived at Le Mandrie as part of our little honeymoon thanks to a gift box. I had seen this place briefly and luckily I went back to have a look. The place is fabulous, a REAL agriturismo, where you can: - eat local products but above all all homemade, exquisite like we have never tasted - sleep in a bedroom that smells of history, sober and elegant in its rural being - wake up with the blackbirds singing their joy in the park immediately behind your window, a protected park rich in fauna and flora (in the evening we saw a roe deer on the main road!). Everything is truly genuine, simple, personally if I could I would have lived here willingly, even worked here: Rino's enthusiasm truly welcomed us, enveloped us and enchanted us. He knows what he's doing and he does it well, it didn't take him long to convince us to choose them for dinner, which we are grateful for (you already knew we would be happy, right dear Rino?). The dishes were delicious, the portions were right, no frills to present flavors that already smelled amazing. The oil of this place is sublime, as are the cheeses. The waiting staff was attentive and courteous, as well as very friendly... thanks to Marco for his gallantry and professionalism, and also Andrea for his knowledge about the products on sale at the entrance, which we obviously purchased. Dinner paid 62.50 euros for 2 appetizers, 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 side dish, service charge and water, bread, craft beer by the glass. We consider it a fair amount since it is all made by them, organic and genuine, in an environment that feels like home! The breakfast was almost the most beautiful, so quiet, slow, and again all home-made products or at most local... so we bought the gianduia cream based on oil and also the "Ideale" oil, amazing, a wild pork salami and another sweet thing for home, thanks to a second Marco for having looked after us and for the two chats at breakfast. We have read some not very nice reviews, and we can't understand what these people had in their heads to be able to write so much nonsense. We highly recommend this wonderful place, and we hope to return too, the end ❤️

28/03/2025: Sono rimasta assolutamente incantata dalla mia recente visita alla Taverna de l 'Arco Assisi.L' atmosfera calda e accogliente, con un'illuminazione soffusa, e il proprietario cordiale e attento, ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Il menu offriva una vasta selezione di piatti deliziosi, tutti preparati con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Ho optato per gnocchi fatti a mano al ragù d'oca, che erano semplicemente squisiti. Mio marito ha scelto invece degli spaghetti con cacio pepe e petali di pancetta croccante buonissimi. Abbiamo preso una ottima grigliata di carne con verdure ripassate,due calici di buon vino rosso e infine come dessert la Rocciata tipico dolce umbro freschissimo appena sfornato. La combinazione di sapori per tutti i piatti provati era perfetta e la presentazione degli stessi impeccabile. Assolutamente da provare.

04/03/2025: I had a terrible experience. Arriving close to midnight, I contacted the hotel in advance with my itinerary and train arrival time, and they said a late check-in was no problem. But when I got to the hotel, it was locked with all the lights off, and there was no answer to the repeated doorbells and phone calls (what if there were an emergency at the hotel or to the guests?). Other hotels were all closed after midnight, and it was scary and frustrating to be left in the dark street with no place to go. Fortunately, one hotel answered my phone call, and then I had to walk a long distance in rain with heavy luggage. It was after 1AM, when I finally entered a room to rest. The hotel provided a confusing excuse that seemed to mean that there was a mistake. I am sure that it was a mistake, but the "mistake" violated the very basic trust of the guest and, more seriously, could have endangered female travelers. I advise against staying at this hotel.

The first time I was there it was so satisfying that I went back for dinner afterwards. Varied appetizers, creative first courses, tasty second courses from local cuisine and very pleasant desserts. Overall, a great culinary experience.

01/04/2025: Discovered by chance, it was a very pleasant surprise to enter such a welcoming environment with attention to detail. Being served with a smile is something that certainly enriches the stop and the excellent food is the excellent conclusion of this experience...highly recommended!!

14/04/2025: Rustic and home-made restaurant, without pretensions. A few steps from the center of Assisi, a typical Umbrian farmhouse restaurant, with a vast choice of various dishes, all very good. Barbecue in the center of the room, I recommend meats of any kind to have here, potatoes and onions are also good and each dish has the torte al testo and scamorza cooked on the grill, particular. If you love simplicity I highly recommend. Restaurant frequented by locals.

14/04/2025: We went for dinner on Friday, a very suggestive place, from the entrance you can already see the fireplace where the embers are cooked, ordering meat becomes a prerogative with that scent. Numbers are assigned to respect the queue, after ordering we waited a bit for the second course, but the waiter kindly brought us two steaks instead of one because it wasn't big enough. We spent around 60 euros, we left full and satisfied! Compliments.

06/04/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of Gubbio. Excellent food and good value for money. The only flaw was that the waiter was a little too intrusive.
