09/01/2026: Some meals stay with you, and this was one of them. From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed, and that feeling stayed with us throughout the whole evening. We began with the arancini, which were simply exceptional — crisp on the outside and full of flavour inside. The pasta with cavolo nero was deeply comforting and beautifully balanced. For mains, the veal cheek was outstanding: meltingly tender, rich and soulful, while the mixed grill was perfectly cooked, full of flavour and seasoned with real care and respect for the ingredients. Dessert was just as special. The orange parfait was fresh and elegant, and the homemade dessert of the day was a true little surprise — simple, honest and delicious, just like the food you hope to find in a place like this. What really makes this restaurant shine is the people. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive and proud of what they serve. Combined with a lovely selection of local wines and a warm, relaxed atmosphere, it felt like discovering a little hidden gem in Assisi. This is the kind of place you remember long after the meal is finished. Highly, highly recommended ❤️

11/04/2026: Finally at Giorgione!! Exactly what we thought and hoped for: a family atmosphere, excellent food, and the appetizer buffet is delicious. There's only one flaw, which I confessed to the owner: it's a bit too far from us, since we live in Milan... but then, thinking about it, I think that's also a plus. 🤗 Long live Umbria!

03/04/2026: We had dinner along the Silent Villages Trail in Melezzole, and it was a wonderful experience. The cuisine features local, seasonal products. Great attention is paid to the preparation of the dishes and to the guests. It's worth a stop. Highly recommended!

12/04/2026: I went there last week for a business lunch. We had appetizers and first courses (all pappardelle with porcini mushrooms) and were all more than satisfied with both the quality and quantity. The atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommended!

07/04/2026: A historic osteria in Bologna's Gessi Park, spacious, informal, and family-friendly. Traditional and local dishes with a carefully selected selection of ingredients and a comprehensive wine list. An excellent place to spend a quiet evening with friends or family, suitable for small or medium-sized groups. Reservations are required for dinner after 10 p.m. and to arrange a menu.

30/03/2026: Nice little place, but slow service, despite the kindness of the staff, who were quite helpful but unfortunately very inexperienced! Average food, but the desserts deserve a mention.

18/10/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, the service wasn't particularly fast, but it was courteous. The crostini with lard and honey as an appetizer was excellent, but €8 is a bit too much for the portion. The gnocchi with Taleggio cheese and truffle cream were delicious and delicate. The white chocolate mousse was exquisite, but the Roccata wasn't quite to our taste... Overall, we recommend it ☺️

19/04/2026: Terrible experience. We booked by phone. We arrived at the scheduled time and were literally ignored by everyone. The cashier and reservations clerk talked on the phone and wandered around the place while we waited for someone to greet us and show us around, or at least show us our table. After about 15 minutes of not even being greeted with a good evening and the waiters walking past us ignoring us, the person mentioned above finally hung up, asked if we had a reservation, and showed us our table. We waited another good 15 minutes to order because no one bothered to take our order, until I called the waiter who was walking by without even looking at us and asked if it was possible to order. After a few minutes, a waitress arrived and we ordered. The grilled meat ordered by the person I was with arrived. It was rare, and she likes it well done. I should point out that when we ordered, no one asked us if we wanted it well done or rare. They decided to bring it to us rare. We asked for it to be cooked a little longer without arguing. The waiter brought it back to the table, rudely setting it down and with no respect, not even a smile, not even a "please, ma'am." He simply set the plate down rudely and walked away. At that point, we decided to leave in disgust, leaving the grilled meat on the table. We paid a whopping 98 euros for two frittata appetizers, a rigatoni with pajata, and an uneaten grilled meat. The wine was a Sagrantino di Montefalco scacciadiavoli, which raised the price a bit, but still expensive for what we ordered. The food quality was average, nothing extraordinary. So, a terrible review, and the place is definitely one to avoid.

15/04/2026: Excellent lunch. Typical local dishes offered at an excellent price. Very beautiful and characteristic location. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would gladly return.

20/12/2025: Top, very good, polite, competent, and a very nice location... I know they specialize in fish, but the cured meats for two are excellent, accompanied by a salad and fried artichoke. For dessert, the ricotta and black cherries are excellent. The house wine is good, the price is ok... thanks.

The young man who served us was very kind, stopping to chat between courses and making us feel at ease. We also really appreciated the fact that he let us take away what we didn't finish, including the wine. Overall, a positive experience.

28/03/2026: A cozy little restaurant in the center of Montefalco. We had mozzarella with honey and walnuts as an appetizer. For our first course, we tried gnocchetti with Sagrantino wine and tortelli with parmesan and pears. To finish, we had roasted artichokes and baked potatoes. Everything was delicious. The man who served us was friendly and knowledgeable about local wines.

01/04/2026: Lunch with friends. Had a lovely day. We ate several dishes from the menu and off-menu, all excellent. Excellent wine and homemade desserts. Perfect service, courtesy and professionalism. Highly recommended.
