21/10/2025: A very unique, welcoming, and beautiful place. We had beans with pork rind, tripe, lentils with cavolo nero, gnocchi with mushroom and truffle cream, and crema catalana... all delicious. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: The place is very beautiful and well-kept, starting with the truly beautiful placemats. The food is excellent. We had a few appetizers, a couple of first courses, a few second courses, side dishes, and desserts. Everything was very good, but we were a bit disappointed with the service. We arrived among the first courses and waited about half an hour just to order. There was also a long wait for the second courses. We arrived at 1:00 PM and left at practically 3:30 PM... a bit excessive.

07/10/2025: We had dinner at Taverna last night to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We sampled appetizers, then I had a first course and he had a second course. The service was impeccable (as was the case at Bosone Garden, which they also manage, and at Ducale). We'll be back very soon!

07/10/2025: Good evening, I wanted to congratulate you on your professionalism, the ambiance, and the food. I have to criticize the first course, tagliatelle with fresh truffle. It was anything but fresh. The truffle slices were layered with too much butter, making it taste like pasta with butter. And finally, the excessive price, €26, for a dish that I would have gladly spent if it had been topped with fresh truffle. Good luck!

12/10/2025: The atmosphere is friendly and convivial, and you have to enjoy the rustic and deliberately down-to-earth setting. The quality of the food and cuisine is just acceptable, and the service is perfectly suited to the setting. The waiters are a bit rushed, and their smiles lack spontaneity.

I wandered into Botteguccia del Campo 64 by chance, for an impromptu lunch, and, won over by the simple, welcoming atmosphere, I returned for dinner. The atmosphere is authentic, with attention to detail without ostentation, and every dish speaks to the passion for locally sourced products. Stefano, the host, welcomes you with kindness and warmth, making every moment special, and all the staff are friendly and polite. Here, simplicity becomes poetry, and you leave with a heart full of gratitude.

24/09/2025: For years, whenever I've been in Spoleto or the surrounding area, dinner here has been a must. The place feels like an old trattoria, in the best sense of the word. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the food is excellent! Unbeatable value for money!

06/10/2025: Bolognese osteria that lived up to expectations, dishes with very good local products, fried gnocco, fried polenta with squaqquerone and frigione, cold cuts, Bolognese cutlet, chestnut tagliatelle with walnuts and butter, a little overcooked but overall a good lunch 💞😉🤞👍

30/09/2025: We went on Saturday evening for a birthday. The food was good, you could tell the tagliatelle were homemade, and the sauce was good. I had a friggione, but it was onions cooked in sauce, and the gratinated tomatoes were decent. We all basically had seconds of everything because the portions were really small. We mentioned this to the waitress, but the second course arrived equally small, so it's probably a restaurant policy. Parking is practically nonexistent. I'd recommend this place once, but I wouldn't return, despite the quality.

13/10/2025: Featured in our favorite Michelin guide, L'Apollinare is an elegant restaurant housed in a former convent in the historic center of Spoleto. It's intimate and cozy, the table lit by a small lamp; the dishes are excellent, solid, and enjoyable, without frills but never banal. The service is attentive and courteous. An excellent lunch. A well-deserved Michelin mention.

Every dish is presented with such care—it’s a feast for the eyes as much as the palate. From the very first bite of the crusted cod to the last, it was nothing short of WOW. 07/10/2025: A beautiful, quaint restaurant with a lovely red room and—a few steps down—a sort of cellar room. Several signs point the way from the old town entrance to the restaurant. The service is polite and friendly. While serving the "Tagliere," she briefly explained all the sausages, hams, and cheeses to us. The cuisine is quite upscale, and the food is very tasty, which is why the prices are absolutely justified. The only thing I personally didn't quite like was the tiramisu. I completely missed the taste of coffee. It's part of the experience, though, especially since it's supposed to wake you up; hence—I think—the name: "Pull me up," meaning "wake me up." It also consisted mainly of mascarpone. There were maybe a few pavesini on top. I've heard of it with the savoiardi (spoon biscuits), but they're solid from top to bottom. That way, at least they have some bite. But below the Pavesini (or whatever) there was just a "mascarpone lake." Certainly not bad, but not particularly appealing in terms of taste. But as I said: a matter of taste. Having been there five times already, I can highly recommend it. In 2019, for example, I had the melted cheese with truffle – without honey upon request; then the pappardelle al cinghiale; or the simple lentil soup. This time we had the tagliere, the pasta with capra, and each of the duck breast and beef, I think. In 2019, we had an appetizer that was extremely complex; hence the numerous photos. Very interesting back then was this kind of meatloaf with balsamic vinegar; but half as thick as in Germany. It tasted much more refined, though. The house wine was also surprisingly good: only €8 a liter back then. By the way: the pool was, of course, very clean. Parking is convenient and free in front of the circular square in front of the pedestrian bridge over the Nera River. It's great that this restaurant exists: highly recommended, as it combines typical Umbrian cuisine with high quality.

19/10/2025: While strolling near the Orvieto Cathedral, my husband and I accidentally stumbled upon this charming and welcoming place. I recommend it for its excellent food and friendly staff.

19/10/2025: A VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE! The location is poorly maintained and very dusty: cleanliness is lacking. The open kitchen offers a view of the dirty dishes. The service was poor and disorganized. I can't comment on the food because the owner literally kicked us out after discovering that one of our guests was celiac, something I had already specified during the phone reservation, where I had been reassured that we could eat without any problems. A side note, but not that side note: the owner was absolutely rude.

19/10/2025: The location is pleasant and the food is decent. It's a shame about the chef's attitude: it's one thing to advise and guide guests in their choices, but quite another to judge and make them feel wrong. A little more attention to hospitality would make the experience decidedly more pleasant.
