26/12/2025: We had lunch with friends and were completely satisfied with the meal we had at this trattoria located in the historic center of Città di Castello. Both the tortellini in broth and the fried lamb were excellent, but those who ordered appetizers and various cuts of meat, including side dishes, were equally satisfied. A place to recommend, definitely!

22/12/2025: Nice and welcoming place. The service was impeccable; the girl who served was simply exquisite. The dishes were exquisite, absolutely recommended.

06/02/2026: Discovered by chance on our way home. We ordered an appetizer for two (three ate), generous with local cured meats and cheeses. For the first courses, we tried tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, tagliatelle with truffle, and gnocchi stuffed with truffle fondue, truly delicious. We were already full when we arrived, but we decided to order a rib-eye steak to try their grilled meat. What can I say, superb. If you're in the area, it's a must-see. I highly recommend it.

11/01/2026: A quaint place. Original beams, ancient brick vaults, original stone walls. What can I say about the menu? Well-curated, respectful of tradition, high-quality ingredients. The staff was extremely kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient despite the large crowd. Thank you so much for your experience.

06/01/2026: I had dinner at Cantinone in Perugia with three friends. We ordered two appetizers, four first courses, and desserts, all very good. The atmosphere is charming, simple, and rustic, truly pleasant. The food is good, although the portions—especially the ravioli—were a bit on the small side. Overall, it was a lovely experience in a welcoming place, well worth a visit.

The setting is charming, located in the heart of the historic center, just steps from the Duomo, in ancient cellars with barrel vaults and stone walls that create a warm and intimate atmosphere, ideal for both a romantic dinner and a lunch with friends or family. The cuisine focuses on typical local flavors, with appetizers featuring local cured meats and cheeses, truffle dishes, fresh pasta dishes like strangozzi and umbricelli, and well-executed meat dishes, from wild boar to veal cheek, all presented with attention to detail and balanced portions. The desserts are on par with the rest of the menu, with special mention for the tiramisu.

10/12/2025: I'll start by saying I had very, very high expectations, and perhaps that's why I was slightly disappointed. The buffet is very rich, but after 3 or 4 items, everything is very bland (pickles, cold cuts, cheeses, etc.). The waiters are very, very fast with their service, not giving you time to properly enjoy a meal of that caliber. The main courses could be improved, but they're generally good and well-proportioned. Let's talk about Giorgione, the man himself. I'd give him 5 stars for him alone. He's very affable and helpful with everyone. At least in that respect, I wasn't disappointed at all. On the contrary... Overall, I recommend going to him at least once. I'd also recommend arriving on time, but also early to enjoy the buffet without too many people.

02/02/2026: I recommend this restaurant which is located on a beautiful hilltop. Both the first and second courses are delicious and the only negative aspect is that if you dine on the veranda in winter it is a little chilly.

12/01/2026: A tavern from a bygone era, a rustic place in its simplicity, with 1930s music in the background that completed the image of the entire tavern. Another positive note was the quality food with the right portions and a reasonable price. A particular appreciation for the Bolognese cutlet with the right balance of flavors and proportions.

01/11/2025: We simply left because they told us there were no free seats. The lady at the front desk was very rude. She was insolent and annoyed by customers who actually wanted to spend money. There were free seats on the terrace and inside. They just didn't want to! So much for friendly catering.

04/02/2026: Let me start by saying I was the one who was watching the game on my phone without bothering anyone.... The wild boar and lamb were fabulous and the food was excellent. Kudos to the chef.

28/12/2025: We visited this restaurant on December 28th, in the midst of the Christmas festivities. The crowds certainly didn't help the staff's performance. The wait times were biblical (over half an hour for four tozzetti with two glasses of Vin Santo, because they'd forgotten which course we'd arrived for), and the pasta with wild boar ragù arrived cold, overcooked, and with a ragù that, both in taste and appearance, resembled the ones prepared in a jar (to be fair, we were asked if we wanted the dish back, but we declined due to the delay in bringing the courses). When we informed the cashier of this at checkout (because they'd asked how our lunch had gone), we were met with the response, "But all restaurants use ready-made sauces" and "Were you in a hurry for dessert?" In short, not exactly professional. The only positive note is the cold cuts, crescia, and all the dishes not prepared by them (since the second course was passing off pancetta as guanciale). The price, however, is no less than other typical and daily menus at other restaurants in the area, which definitely offer better quality and the attitude of some of the staff. Not recommended.

02/11/2025: Semiramide has become a go-to place for us. The pizza (strictly made with sourdough) is excellent. The grilled meat is authentic, and the pasta dishes are fresh and handmade to order. The dessert is a treat that doesn't weigh you down but is a perfect end to the meal. The place is intimate, cozy, and attentive, as is the service.

02/11/2025: The manager welcomed us warmly and captivated us with his descriptions of his dishes. It's a shame that what we received was very, very disappointing. The cooking technique lacked the right level of detail for the menu prices. The bread was from the day before, the potatoes were very dry, the soup was very salty and unbalanced, and tasted only of rosemary. I understand it's the only place for miles around, but the prices for where it is located and what it offers are WAY too high.

07/01/2026: We stayed from January 3rd to 5th with our dog and had a wonderful time. The rooms were beautiful and, above all, clean. The owners were very kind, friendly, and helpful. We had dinner and lunch, and there was so much to eat! Everything was prepared by them, simple but carefully prepared and tasty dishes. Various appetizers, a first course, two second courses, and dessert for €30. I repeat, everything was delicious! The breakfasts were also excellent, both sweet and savory. 18/10/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, the service wasn't particularly fast, but it was courteous. The crostini with lard and honey as an appetizer was excellent, but €8 is a bit too much for the portion. The gnocchi with Taleggio cheese and truffle cream were delicious and delicate. The white chocolate mousse was exquisite, but the Roccata wasn't quite to our taste... Overall, we recommend it ☺️

07/02/2026: We stumbled upon this place on a day trip to Orvieto. We had a long lunch with a couple of glasses of wine! Lovely, authentic little place. Super food and friendly staff. Very reasonable price. I wasn't sure what to exect with the pear and ricotta tart but it was absolutely delicious. We would definitley go back.

15/01/2026: A must-visit at this Osteria if you're visiting Scheggino, a charming village in the Valnerina. The atmosphere is rustic yet classy, ​​warm and inviting; just looking inside gives you a sense of what's to come. Service is friendly and prompt, prices are a bit high, but quality comes at a cost. Recommended.
