09/08/2025: The place is very charming, and as I walked by, it immediately caught my attention. We decided to have lunch here and were truly satisfied. The staff is friendly and attentive. For appetizers, we had the fried pizza with burrata and prosciutto, which was truly delicious. For our main course, we opted for the pici with Tuscan sauce, which was also delicious! I was disappointed not to be able to finish my dish because it was so tasty, but unfortunately, I was full. Recommended!

17/07/2025: For €18 per person, we received a culinary feast! Pizza for starter, two large plates of delicious pasta, roast pork ribs and sausage with a side salad and fresh bread, dessert and a digestivo. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend to anyone willing to be surprised by the local cuisine.

17/07/2025: A very nice place with home-cooked regional food. You won't leave hungry – an appetizer, three courses, and dessert for just 18 euros, with drinks included. The menu is fixed and changes daily. The restaurant is very popular, so I recommend making a reservation.

21/07/2025: Consigliati da un albergatore locale, siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante spartano e molto classico. Senza fronzoli, menù ultra tradizionale, tagliatelle, ravioli, braciole, spiedini alla brace. Cucina della nonna ad un prezzo ormai quasi introvabile. Per gli amanti del genere, un posto ormai raro.

Unlimited wine and water. Friendly and fast service. Price for two people: €60...not exactly cheap, but acceptable.

13/08/2025: We've been regular customers since 2018, but this latest experience has forced us to end our relationship with this place. The reason is very simple: the prices are not at all clear, and in our case, we were charged a different price than the others. Since we were at a table near the register, it wasn't difficult to understand the prices applied to previous customers, and for the same amount of food, we paid more. Furthermore, the menu is confusing, sometimes unexplained, and the quality has significantly declined over the years. The host, Stefano, presents himself as a friendly person, but his only goal is to make money! When a restaurant goes in this direction, forgetting about people, it loses its primary objective: providing service. Disappointed, because money is more valuable than relationships.

01/08/2025: Centrally located restaurant where we were welcomed by a kind and friendly lady. We had a very good chickpea soup and an equally good vegetable parmigiana. The prices were reasonable and we would gladly return!

27/07/2025: Indecisi dove fermarci a mangiare a pranzo, ad istinto abbiamo optato per fermarci in questa osteria. Ci è piaciuto da subito la semplicità e la classicità del locale che però ha carattere. Ci siamo seduti all' esterno in un piccolo e stretto vicolo dove però siamo stati comodi e non disturbati da nessun passante. Era orario di pranzo e faceva molto caldo ma nel vicoletto tirava una leggera arietta che non ci ha fatto patire per nulla la temperatura estiva e abbiamo evitato molto volentieri l'aria condizionata, che in questa osteria comunque non c'è. La signora che ci ha servito è una donna di poche pippe, gentile e indaffarata. Il servizio è stato veloce e direi buono. Abbiamo mangiato due antipasti e due primi molto buoni strangozzi con stracciatella e tagliatelle con chianina bianca, che però mi sono dimenticata di fotografare perché appena appoggiati sul tavolo ce li siamo mangiati. Abbiamo bevuto solo acqua perché poi dovevamo rimetterci in auto per spostarci in un altro luogo.

From the moment I arrived, the exterior was spacious and meticulously cared for, with an outdoor pool that added a scenic and refined touch to the environment. Upon entering, the interior confirmed the initial impression: several rooms, all impeccably tidy and furnished with an elegance that combines simplicity and style. The atmosphere is one of calm refinement, perfect for celebrating important moments. The real star of the day was undoubtedly the fish-based menu, exceptional in every way. The freshness of the catch was evident and the kitchen demonstrated an extraordinary ability to enhance its flavors with simplicity and authenticity. Each course was a pleasure for the palate: from the three appetizers that opened the dance, to the first courses rich in flavor, up to the fried shrimp and squid, light, crunchy and a real delight. The culinary experience ended beautifully with a magnificent cake, not only for its aesthetic presentation, but above all for the filling that won everyone over: pistachio, coconut and white chocolate. A perfect ending to a memorable lunch. Despite the presence of six other confirmations at the same time in the restaurant, the service was impeccable. The staff, always available and attentive, professionally managed our long table, ensuring that the banquet took place in the appropriate times. Special praise goes to the care and kindness of the owners, who also did their utmost to arrange the confetti corner with the wedding favors and flowers provided by the customer, demonstrating a dedication and passion that make the difference. In short, this restaurant is synonymous with excellence. A place where attention to detail, the quality of the food and impeccable service come together to create a truly unforgettable experience. Absolutely recommended for ceremonies and special events!

09/08/2025: Very welcoming restaurant, two first courses are served, followed by two second courses, with an unimaginable variety of side dishes and appetizers from the buffet, and then finished with a trio of desserts, all cooked with local products!! Everything was really very good!! 🤩 And if you want, at the end of the evening there is Mr. Giorgio (Giorgione) who is available for a beautiful photo to remember the wonderful experience.

09/08/2025: After months of waiting, Giorgione finally met all my expectations! All my expectations were met. The restaurant is rustic and very welcoming, close to the historic center of Montefalco, which I always recommend. The appetizer buffet is incredible and limitless. Cold cuts, cheeses, olives, various salads, exceptional carpaccio, and so many other delicious treats that it's impossible to list. Two first courses and two surprising second courses, each one different, with generous but not overwhelming portions. A trio of desserts to finish. Nice wine selection, not overly extensive but full of gems like the Montefalco DOC or the Sagrantino (be careful with the ABV, they're both strong!) The staff are friendly and helpful, and the icing on the cake... Giorgione, who shows up halfway through the meal and greets every table, makes everything even more authentic. The price is excellent for what they offer, €38 excluding drinks. Even though the wait is long, it's an experience worth trying; it's worth the wait.

12/07/2025: A traditional osteria in the heart of Orvieto, in a highly touristy area, perfect for a lunch break between sightseeing. The restaurant has a rustic and friendly atmosphere, with outdoor seating and original details like the wall drawings and the slogan "If you have to dream, exaggerate," which add a touch of personality. I tried the umbrichelli with truffle: simple but delicious, with generous truffle shavings that give the dish an intense aroma and flavor. The portions were generous and beautifully served. The menu is extensive and well-curated, featuring many traditional Umbrian dishes, meats, side dishes, and homemade desserts. Prices are average for a tourist spot, but justified by the quality and central location. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed. An excellent choice for those who want to sample local cuisine in a lively and characteristic setting.

08/08/2025: We stopped for dinner, and it seemed like they'd forgotten about us. Finally, we ordered mezze maniche with zucchini, onions, and saffron. The dish was terrible, as the dressing was minimal, completely bland, and lacking in oil. I also found dry zucchini and chunks of onion, unchopped and as tough as a shoe. It looked like onion scraps. We also had to send back a large salad with arugula, red lettuce, and very little pecorino cheese because they brought it already dressed with oil and vinegar without asking, and my wife is intolerant to vinegar. This is the first time I've seen a large salad served with dressing instead of the dressings on the side. Perhaps they're worried about using too much oil.

06/08/2025: The somewhat small atmosphere and limited space don't detract from the kindness of the staff and the excellent flavor of the dishes served. The pasta with wild boar ragù is worth the evening. I'll be back as soon as I have the chance!

08/08/2025: We have been dining at Rossi’s for years. Our love-hate relationship is borne from the unpredictable service you receive from the two-owner brothers who have been running the establishment for years. Surly and rather disengaging. Not characteristics commensurate with front of house behavior. In spite of themselves, the Tratoria has prospered and grown over the years and I attribute this to the quality of the food. Typical Umbrian, simple and therefore always delicious. Testament to this is that most diners are local and regulars! How much more of a regular we would be if the two brothers attended a Dale Carnegie course on how to Win Friends and Influence people! Hell, I would even pay for it!

02/08/2025: We dined here based on the positive reviews... The staff was sparse, not in number but in terms of the number of qualified staff... The menu lacked any description of the ingredients in the dish. The ordering, service, and payment times were incredibly long...

28/07/2025: A restaurant in a typical Assisi alleyway, just away from the crowds and bustle of the main square. We ate in the outdoor garden; the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and presented with attention to detail. We ordered a platter as an appetizer and two first courses, all of which were high-quality. Recommended for those seeking traditional Umbrian cuisine in a setting far from the tourist crowds.
