22/10/2025: My wife Anna and I were cycling through Umbria and stopped at the inn for a night. Manuele, the manager, is incredibly kind and helpful. We chatted about the beautiful surroundings and our past. From our perspective, the inn is stunning, with an air of times gone by, almost like a small, well-maintained castle. The rooms are excellent, and the breakfast room has a beautiful fireplace. Breakfast was plentiful, and check-in and check-out were seamless. Pietralunga is one of those villages I call "children of a lesser god." It's lesser-known compared to the more famous nearby towns, but there's a truly ancient feel to this small medieval village, complete with a few gems such as the Lombard fortress and the 8th-century Parish Church of Santa Maria. The inn and Borgo di Pietralunga are highly recommended.

01/11/2025: We simply left because they told us there were no free seats. The lady at the front desk was very rude. She was insolent and annoyed by customers who actually wanted to spend money. There were free seats on the terrace and inside. They just didn't want to! So much for friendly catering.

07/12/2025: A great find in Spoleto, excellent food, adequate portions. Fast and courteous service. Nice atmosphere and background music. If I could offer one suggestion that doesn't alter my excellent rating, it would be to change the tablecloth material.

13/11/2025: My family and I went to Antica Cantina this summer. It was an unforgettable experience. Given that I'm the only non-celiac in the family, we were all truly satisfied with the simplicity and deliciousness of the dishes we ate. I'm already a fan of traditional food without major reinterpretations, and here, tradition reigns supreme. From the appetizers to the first and second courses, everything was delicious. And my children ate with a smile. A significant plus is the entirely female management. A must-try if you're passing through Orvieto!

14/12/2025: I went there with a group of friends during a trip to Orvieto. A welcoming place with typical local products. The Umbrichelli with Chianina beef ragù was delicious. The service was good, but the atmosphere was a bit chaotic. Overall, though, it was an excellent place.

07/12/2025: A well-maintained and well-maintained establishment, popular with locals and tourists, offering quality and quantity, suitable for ceremonies or simple birthday banquets, or even small groups or romantic dinners. It has several indoor rooms, including two large ones for larger events. The staff is friendly and courteous, the kitchen is well-stocked and well-organized, and every detail is carefully considered, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Outside, there's a large garden with a swimming pool, beautifully landscaped with plants and their embellishments, outdoor sofas and gazebos for relaxing and entertaining, and all this complemented by a picturesque lake view. Ample free and convenient parking is available. Highly recommended, and to be on the safe side, book in advance.

15/11/2025: While visiting Trevi, at the owner's recommendation, we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. The location is very elegant, and there's definitely room for outdoor seating. The menu, which I wasn't expecting, features several freshwater fish dishes. The quality is good; their bruschetta with marinated trout and salsa verde is famous, the owner told us. The mushroom dishes, all sourced locally, are also excellent. The house wine is also good. The price is average for the quality.

16/11/2025: We preferred it because it's a little further away from the city center. We ate very well. The pappardelle with white wild boar ragù was delicious! Also recommended for the kindness of the owners. Excellent value for money.

07/12/2025: The place wasn't very welcoming, dark, with very low ceilings and very "odd" decor, not really suited to a restaurant. The young woman was very kind, but the lady (owner?) serving was very pushy and inappropriate. We ordered and the food arrived very slowly; the food was good but nothing exceptional. We finished eating at 1:40 PM, ordering two coffees and a tiramisu, which never arrived because we left at 2:15 PM. A 35-minute wait for two coffees and a tiramisu that never arrived? A bit too much. Not to be repeated...

07/12/2025: Excellent food. Excellent service with highly trained staff. I gave the atmosphere a 4 only because the recently lit fireplace didn't heat the room properly. Overall, we'll definitely be back.
