Everything very good, recommended

For our 39th wedding anniversary, we booked a table at this traditional restaurant. I called and explained I wanted to surprise my wife. The girl, without hesitation, offered to leave a bouquet of roses for her. She didn't ask for a deposit; they took care of everything. It was a truly successful surprise and a wonderful dinner. The two waitresses were courteous and kind; I think they're all part of the family. I highly recommend it because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is welcoming. Lunch with friends at this quaint osteria in the center of Bevagna. The atmosphere is intimate and comfortable, with traditional touches. We ate very well for the right price: the tagliolini with delicately flavored asparagus, the cod, and the octopus alla Luciana, all delicious. There are also outdoor tables; the staff is quick and helpful.

The wait was a bit long, but they had warned us. I had the dish of the day: tagliata with truffle... Special. The others were also satisfied. The price was reasonable for the location and the food.

A typical tavern on the main street, we wandered in by chance and discovered truly excellent local cuisine. We ordered the fettuccine with wild boar ragù and the tagliolini with asparagus and guanciale (pork cheek)—exceptional. Unfortunately, they had run out of artichokes.

Osteria del Podestà: a beautiful location, but forgettable service. The place is enchanting: a large, vaulted brick room, simply furnished, perfectly enhancing the medieval atmosphere. There's also the option of eating outside, but the true soul of the place lies within those ancient walls. The waiters welcome us kindly and show us to our table. The owner arrives to take our order. Unfortunately, perhaps due to the large number of guests, something gets stuck between the dining room and the kitchen: for eight people, four or five courses are missing. We report the mistake, and the owner reassures us ("they're preparing them"), but the wait drags on until almost 3:00 PM. After some difficulty getting the attention of one of the waitresses, the mistake is finally realized, and the owner very politely apologizes several times for the mistake. Tired and disappointed, we opt for dessert and ask for the bill. The owner, in her own way, accommodates us by discounting some of the desserts. It's a real shame: all the ingredients were there, the food was well-prepared, but poor communication ruined what should have been a wonderful day. Great potential was thwarted by shaky management.

Excellent! A welcoming and characteristic restaurant in the heart of the historic center. The cuisine is excellent, offering traditional Umbrian and Sicilian dishes expertly prepared. Great care is also evident in the selection of ingredients. Everything was excellent, we'll definitely be back. Kudos to Salvatore and his family! Highly recommended!
