The restaurant, located on an estate, is difficult to find without a GPS. The road is slow due to the ruts and the very old asphalt. We stumbled upon it by chance, but it was definitely worth it. Efficient service, a pleasant place... but the food is exceptional. We had a delicious appetizer platter. The homemade tagliatelle with wild boar ragu was fantastic. The main course was a sliced ​​steak with high-quality meat, grilled to perfection. The prices are fair. Well done! If you're in the area, highly recommended.

Ristorante Il Caio in ORVIETO (TR) is immersed in the Umbrian countryside, in a stone farmhouse with a splendid veranda and panoramic views. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, perfect for a lunch with family or friends. Here you'll find authentic traditional Umbrian cuisine with truly hearty and excellent dishes, such as truffle-filled cappelli del prete (a type of pasta), wild boar specialties, and even pizza for dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. The road to get there is a bit winding, but the destination more than makes up for the journey. Definitely worth revisiting! 👍👍

Outside, there's a large garden with a swimming pool, beautifully landscaped with plants and their embellishments, outdoor sofas and gazebos for relaxing and entertaining, and all this complemented by a picturesque lake view. Ample free and convenient parking is available. Highly recommended, and to be on the safe side, book in advance.
