15/06/2026: We were there at the beginning of June! It was truly something special! The food was really good :) I would definitely recommend making a reservation!

14/06/2026: Beautiful location, but the food was disappointing. The food quality needs a complete overhaul.

10/06/2026: Terrible Maremma tortellini, tasteless, the panzanella was vinegared and didn't follow Italian tradition, the pici with tomato sauce weren't cooked properly, the coffee wasn't macchiato but watered down with milk. We won't be returning. And all of this was €42 down the drain.

30/04/2026: OMG! Luckily ate here our first night in Siena. I will eat here as often as I can during this stay. Family owned, traditional, menu changes with what’s available locally. Slow pace, friendly but busy. Only has 14 tables all other customers seemed to be locals.

12/05/2026: Food is ok but very overpriced - especially for a roadhouse. Sorry. They have a lot of attitude. We had one contorno, (SMALL plate of cheese and cured meat) 2 glasses of house-red wine and 2 espressos - E60+. You're paying for atmosphere.

06/05/2026: A restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful garden. Very attentive and helpful staff. The food is top-quality and very good. The beef tartare with mustard is AMAZING!!! It's our favorite place every time we pass by.

11/05/2026: The food was okay, nothing you absolutely have to try. The service was poor; the waiter barely spoke, didn't seem to care about customers, and asked for a tip at the end.

24/06/2025: Breakfast needs improvement. We were expecting a farm with local products, but none of that was offered. The interior of the accommodation needs updating! The location and the view are fantastic!

I'd say everything was excellent from the appetizers... to the dessert... congratulations to all of you... you are super... go there you won't regret it

08/11/2025: A very well-kept, welcoming place, with qualified and extremely friendly staff. Excellent, plentiful dishes. Prices are more than fair. We live far away, but when we're in the area, it's a regular stop. It's definitely worth it.

09/06/2026: My wife and I shared a wonderful experience. We stopped for dinner. The atmosphere is traditional, welcoming, and informal. Two rooms, the first overlooking the entrance, the second inside. The tagliatelle with black truffle, grated at the table at my request, was truly delicious. The tagliatelle with wild boar was equally delicious, perfectly cooked and served with plenty of wild boar ragù. For our main course, a "Peposo" (a type of pasta) was expertly cooked, perfectly flavored, and made with excellent quality meat. The wine list is excellent, with several options, including by the glass, and a very reasonable markup. The owner is kind and very attentive. The price wasn't expensive at all, considering it's in the center of Siena. It deserves 5 stars. We'll be back!

03/06/2026: We were very disappointed with the food. Initially, we were optimistic because of the positive Google reviews, and I was particularly pleased that vegan dishes were clearly marked on the menu, which is why we ultimately chose this restaurant. However, even the bruschetta was presented without any care. No basil, no onions or garlic; instead, there was bread that wasn't really crispy, with a little olive oil and tomatoes. Honestly, the bruschetta we make at home tastes better, and for significantly less money. Anyway, we were still looking forward to the main courses: vegan truffle pasta and a steak with truffles and potatoes on the side. But the pasta was completely bland, the truffle flavor barely perceptible. Overall, the dish was mostly oily and felt rather heavy in our stomachs afterward. On top of that, the pasta, which contrary to what was stated wasn't tagliatelle, wasn't cooked properly. Don't get me wrong, I'm not someone who likes their pasta overcooked and not al dente—quite the opposite. But the pasta was still quite hard. A few days earlier, I had eaten vegan tagliatelle al tartufo in Florence, which tasted much more intense and creamy, which is why I was all the more disappointed with my dish. My boyfriend was also dissatisfied with his steak. He had ordered it medium-rare, but according to him, it was quite raw and arrived lukewarm, so he had to eat it cold after a few bites. The truffle flavor was rather subtle here as well. The potatoes were barely seasoned but otherwise okay. With the steak and the pasta, you're paying extra for an ingredient you can hardly taste. It's a real shame. Five euros for a 0.3l Coke is also quite a steep price. The waiter was friendly, but we waited quite a long time for our food. That would have been fine if it had been prepared with care and tasted good. All in all, a disappointing restaurant experience.
