07/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati con degli amici a cena dopo uno spettacolo teatrale. Atmosfera molto gradevole, la signora Paola è stata squisita, con i suoi consigli sul menù e la sua professionalità e cortesia. Ottimo cibo e bella cantina di vini. Torneremo sicuramente.

07/01/2025: Nestled in the medieval village of Monticchiello, near Pienza and the Sienese Val d'Orcia, the Daria restaurant immediately puts the guest at ease. Pleasant temperature, light background music and a smile as soon as you enter the room. The selection is quite challenging because each dish gives the impression of being very tasty and it is exactly like that! From the appetizer to the dessert everything is excellent and well looked after and the desire to return is the predominant feeling. Wide choice of wines and surprise, to accompany the dessert, a liqueur wine with sour cherries which, despite being an alcoholic syrup, is not cloying but rather invites you to drink more.

04/02/2025: Sono stato per cena in questo ristorante e devo dire che l'esperienza é stata ottima. L'ambiente è molto tranquillo, il cibo è con ingredienti di ottima qualità e cucinato benissimo. Le portate sono presentate esteticamente in maniera perfetta e raccontate con molta eleganza e competenza. Fatevi poi suggerire da Matteo il vino da abbinare. Ha veramente tantissime etichette e sa consigliare alla grande. Se passate da Siena non potete non andarci. Tanti complementi a Matteo ed alla sua mamma. Gianmaria

06/02/2025: We went to this place for a Sunday lunch. The place is very welcoming and the staff very kind. The dishes, typically Tuscan, were all excellent with an honorable mention for the pappardelle with wild boar which, personally, went well beyond my expectations. The wine list is also excellent, offering a wide choice of Chianti reds together with a careful selection of Tuscan wines. The only flaw for us was the service: unfortunately, given the crowds, our table was a bit forgotten. Even though we were among the first customers to arrive, we were among the last to leave and be served. However, the waitresses were quick to apologize and make amends, a gesture that I appreciated very much. A must if you pass by Castellina.

03/02/2025: The perfect choice! If you are looking for a restaurant in the Casole d'Elsa area where you can eat very well, Il Piatto Forte is the perfect choice. This restaurant represents a fusion between Tuscan culinary tradition and technological innovation, offering a unique gastronomic experience in step with the times. The place has introduced something new that makes it unique: a robot waiter named Bob. The atmosphere is welcoming and with attention to detail with attentive and friendly service. The quality-price ratio is right. Thanks for a good lunch! Highly recommended!

05/01/2025: We ate divinely! Tasted various courses, including fregola, half paccheri with fish ragout, pici and an amazing semifreddo: all excellent. Quick, friendly and incredibly patient service. We were a table with 6 children and the staff was super friendly and helpful. An experience to repeat!
