27/08/2024: A good place to eat typical Tuscan dishes; the sliced ​​mushrooms were much appreciated. A beautiful place surrounded by greenery, just before the Vallombrosa Abbey coming from Saltino. They are always full so it is best to book well in advance.

09/08/2024: The Fiorentina steak was wonderful! The staff were also really nice to us throughout the entire service. The only thing that confused me a bit was being asked to pay only in cash, but we were able to pay by card in the end. Overall very satisfied!

09/08/2024: Not Italy!!! Food was average / low (specially for the price.) Service terrible (1 example: getting the phone jerked away with the wine bottle by the server). Getting bumped into the table every 5mins. Servers cursing in Italian. Nothing felt like Italy.

26/08/2024: The location is absolutely great! Beautiful old building. Unfortunately, the food is definitely not worth the money. Quality is fine but the dishes are unimaginative. You would make more of it yourself. Too expensive and too little. The service is provided by young ladies who have certainly not yet attended hotel school. The food is dumped on the table and they are not interested in anything. Definitely don't. We stayed in the adjacent hotel, which was absolutely great! Neat, large room which was immaculately clean. Recommended! Breakfast is offered in the same restaurant. This is good. Friendly service. I would definitely do this when staying at the hotel.

15/08/2024: REFRESHMENT AREA. One of the oldest places in Figline Valdarno, small but very nice, but poorly maintained by a management which in my opinion focuses most of its attention on the accommodation area given that the restaurant was not satisfactory, starting from the prices being too high according to my opinion for what we ate, there were 4 of us serving a few tables outside. We ordered a platter, pici all'aglione, a risotto with prawns and courgettes, and a glass of wine. We waited about 20 minutes for a cutting board in the meantime we ate bread from hunger. The cutting board was x2 ps 28 euros: they brought us two small wooden tiles with 4 slices of cheese and some cold cuts (prosc. Salam. Etc..) 2 for each, 2 liver crostini, 2 small bruschetta, and 2 slices toasted with oil. I had asked for a bit of honey or a sweet and sour jam for the cheeses because it was missing, they had brought me an apricot jam which were certainly small hotel packages before being brought in a small bowl. The wine: it hadn't arrived either during or before the starter, so when they took away the starter plates I pointed it out to them, and I asked them NOT to bring it to me anymore since I would have preferred to drink it with the cured meats. After a few seconds another waiter arrives with the bottle ready to apologize and pour it for me. I promptly replied "thanks but I would have preferred it before, don't worry". The first courses: my partner ordered a risotto with prawns and courgettes, where she put raw salt on top and she NEVER does that, it was tasteless, frozen prawns and there was no (*) on the menu, and the rice was gone...overcooked. I ordered the pici all'aglione, the flavor was also good but the pici were raw, in fact the pasta remained between my teeth and I had a lot of difficulty chewing, I called the waiter to have him take it back at least to let me sauté it a little more in the pan and he replies "look, pici have to be like this" I didn't want to make a show of showing him how hard the pasta was and so making a silent scene I had them cooked in the pan, in fact this time they were edible. For 2 first courses and an appetizer 72 euros for 2 people without the Fork discount, not recommended.

19/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato per le 20:30 e siamo arrivati alle 20:15. Il locale era abbastanza pieno quindi che c'era da attendere era scontato. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di mare che dopo una ventina di minuti é arrivato. Buono niente da dire. Dopo un'ora di ulteriore attesa ho chiesto conto delle 4 pizze al cameriere e mi dicono che stavano arrivando. Dopo altri 20 minuti i signori arrivati dopo di noi pagano e se ne vanno. Richiediamo al proprietario e le pizze dice erano in forno. Vediamo arrivare delle pizze ma vanno al tavolo accanto. Richiediamo e ci dicono che le pizze stanno entrando in forno, ma non c'erano giá dice mia moglie? Insomma dopo oltre 2 ore di prese in giro le abbiamo mangiate. Buone certo, bella la location ma considerata l'attesa e le sciocche scuse propinate il posto non fa per me. Capisco se ci sono dei problemi ma non mi piace essere preso in giro dato che pago.

11/08/2024: Cena in famiglia. Prenotazione alle 20:30, gli antipasti arrivati alle 22:00, i primi alle 22:40, dolci e caffè alle 23:30. Prendete meno tavoli se non ce la fate, santo cielo!! Il conto davvero esagerato per la cena. Piatti buoni ma non importa più nulla, se l’attesa è infinita ed il prezzo è troppo alto.

23/05/2024: Pernottamento e cena in occasione di cammino lungo la Via degli Dei. Bella posizione con terrazza panoramica. Hotel confortevole, ristorante buono ma con prezzi non da viandante, qualità cibo buona, personale cortese tranne un cameriere in sala decisamente maleducato.

28/04/2024: Abbiamo fatto il cammino degli DEI e abbiamo pernottato. Siamo arrivate e ci hanno dato la possibilità di lavare gli scarponi sporchi di fango. L'hotel è molto pulito ed accogliente , il personale molto disponibile. Cibo molto buono. Assolutamente consigliato.

31/07/2024: Esperienza positiva nel cuore della Toscana, ci troviamo nel comune di Greve in Chianti nella piccola frazione di Dudda dove è allocata “La Botteghina di Dudda” premetto è la Gionata più torrida dell’estate e nel mio vagabondare mi sono ritrovato in questo minuscolo paesino dove ho riscontrato una grande realtà fatta di tradizioni culinarie legate al territorio. Menu ampio, varie proposte dal menù fisso, al menù per lavoratori senza mancare una carta con 10/12 portate per tipologia di pasto. In questa occasione sono stato stuzzicato dalla bruschetta con rigatino funghi porcini e tartufo e poi mi sono lasciato ammaliare dalla frittura della nonna un mix con carni di pollo, coniglio e verdure miste come carote, melanzane, cipolle, zucchine e patate… la location rispecchia ampiamente il menù, piccoli gazebi dislocati in vari livelli, il servizio cortese e premuroso. Come detto sopra esperienza positiva anche in funzione dei prezzi in linea e appropriati al contesto. Consigliato.

27/07/2024: Carino, si è cenato in modo normale ma il conto era in linea con la qualità. Siamo stati al fresco ed in buona compagnia, il servizio lascia un po’ a desiderare ( a noi hanno sbagliato piatti) m ci sta in un contesto così spartano

12/08/2024: We had lunch in this place in July and the place is really terrible to say the least, I think the waiter has done everything except interact with the public in the past, hygienically it's not the best given how he clears several tables at once while still having the dishes in the hand of the table before and already here... Not the food at all...everything seems to be a mess...passable liver crostini, the meat is truly to be ashamed of, a nightmare cut, the ravioli with meat sauce, okay, you can't call the meat sauce that way, pasta and sauce not mixed well together and sauce, terrible in taste, absent of taste. A little advice...call NIGHTMARE KITCHENS AND MAYBE YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF

09/07/2024: Trattoria from times gone by where you can't expect too much, but where you eat well. The dishes are limited and the menu is handwritten on a piece of yellow paper perhaps because it changes from day to day depending on what is available. I would say the price is a little high for the type of place.

26/06/2024: Possiamo considerarci vecchi clienti del locale, ma, purtroppo, il ristorante nel tempo ha mostrato qualche defaiance. Nello specifico, la qualità dei piatti risulta spesso incostante, elemento non positivo per una realtà che dovrebbe vivere, anche per la posizione in cui si trova, di una clientela affezionata.

25/04/2024: Ieri siamo stati,con un'intera scolaresca, presso il ristorante dell'hotel.Eracamo in 46. Ci ha accolto la signora Alessandra e suo figlio, persone gentilissime e molto cordiali. Il pranzo era buono e di qualità. I ragazzi e noi professori siamo stati contenti di tutto. Personalmente ci ritornerò anche in famiglia,quando ne avrò l'opportunità.

10/08/2024: Service and food was just impeccable!! We had the Fiorentine steak which is halal. The only halal fiorentine steak in Florence. I just couldn’t savour the moment any longer. The meat melted in my mouth. The fat was perfection. The potato’s were crunchy and creamy. I wish I went again now the next day. The staff were the kindest sweetest people. Beautiful!! Bonnissimo

26/06/2024: Terrible food and horrible service. We asked for pepper and balsamic and lemon three times- never got lemon. The pizza wasn’t even fully cooked. We were treated poorly and would not recommend this place to anyone! One of the waiters was sarcastic and refused to answer questions about special requests
