03/10/2025: Disturbingly Bad. Food was a complete disaster - Wine by the glass was literally undrinkable; We were out in five minutes, food and all. What a complete waste of money. We were the last to be served, truly, as they were about to close, but still, didn’t make us the favour of serving us with reheated food, and wine, which had been open for ages. Wasn’t even given a few minutes to at least ‘choose’, not that there was much to choose from, anyway. Do not even bother.

27/09/2025: A very welcoming place with a very intriguing selection of dishes and drinks, in a one-of-a-kind setting in the center of Empoli.

06/09/2025: We had a delicious pizza and dessert here. The pizzas were good, but the desserts came in a regular supermarket plastic container, only the aluminum lid had been removed. And we paid €6 per dessert for that. It's a disgrace; we'll never eat here again.

26/08/2025: ..a stroll out of town and a stop for dinner at Pinone. A truly beautiful and welcoming location; pizza, meat, and fish! A must try!

11/09/2025: Reservations at this restaurant are unreliable. When I made a reservation two weeks in advance, they said they were looking forward to seeing me on the day. When I finally arrived after pushing my way through the crowds, I was told that although there was indeed a reservation, the kitchen was broken and they were closed, so I was unable to enter. I understand that they can't be open, but I wish they had called. There were elderly customers there, so it was very inconvenient.

11/05/2025: Un ristorante che avevo frequentato altre volte. Cambiato tutto !! Persone diverse e maleducate, cibo insapore, mal presentato, con ritardi inspiegabili. Ordiniamo 2 primi uguali, il primo piatto arriva, del secondo non c'è traccia per almeno 30 minuti. Non l'abbiamo toccato e ci è stato fatto pagare lo stesso con modi arroganti, maleducati e minacciosi. Evitate questo posto, È diventato pessimo.

10/10/2025: My cousin and I waited decades to take this dream trip to Italy, having worked hard and raised our families as single mothers. Our first night in Florence was instantly and viciously ruined by the person who 'greeted' us. This individual was, without question, the most sexist, racist, and ignorant person I have ever encountered in the service industry—or anywhere else. ​We were treated with palpable hatred and contempt from the moment we walked in. The discrimination was so overt and aggressive that it felt like a deliberate attack. It was not merely bad service; it was an act of prejudice that left us shaken and deeply hurt. ​No customer, tourist, or human being deserves to be met with such disgusting bigotry. This establishment and the individual who represents it are a blight on the beautiful city of Florence and an absolute disgrace to the concept of hospitality. Save your money, and more importantly, save your dignity. Do not give your business to a place that sanctions such vile discrimination. PS, the bread was stale and tasteless, and we had to ask 3 times before we finally got some olive oil make it palatable. The rest of the food we had, the "primi", was mediocre. We never got a chance to try a secondi. We were told " we'll see how you do with the first course." He threw silverware on our table and never let us taste the wine before dumping it into our glasses. Perhaps he was just angry because he was a 64 year old "tennis pro" waiting tables in an overrated tourist trap.

02/06/2025: Da fiorentino consiglio sicuramente questo locale con cucina tipica toscana di alta qualità e un servizio super simpatico. Prezzi ottimi in san Niccolò, quartiere storico fiorentino.

15/06/2025: Abbiamo chiamato ahimè, alle 13 per chiedere se fosse possibile un tavolo per le 13.30,il cameriere, giustamente ci ha detto che la cucina chiude alle 14,quindi abbiamo fatto il prima possibile ad arrivare in questa splendida location! All'arrivo ci hanno detto subito che il menù era quello scritto su un tabellone e di fare in fretta nelle scelte, rimembrando che la cucina stava per chiudere! Scegliamo in piedi ma, se volevano far veloce potevano anche darci la carta dei vini... Prendiamo: 1 tagliere Salumi e formaggi 1 gnocco 1raviolo(l'unica cosa positiva forse, dico forse perché alla pasta mancava qualche minuto ancora 1 tagliata al sangue ma servita media Partiamo dal tagliere, per 20 euro poco più o poco meno ti aspetti qualità o quantità ma a dire la verità qualità non mi sembrava tanto eccezionale e quantità non ne parliamo proprio che erano 2 fette di crudo, 2 di salame, 2 di coppa 3 tipi di Pecorini 1 triangolino a pecorino, che quasi non riuscivo a dividerlo con la mia ragazza Lo gnocco si attaccava al palato, cosa irritante ed il raviolo era quasi crudo, tutto ciò perché i cuochi dovevano andare a casa Li capisco, faccio lo stesso mestiere, ma ricordo loro che le persone pagano per andare a mangiare!! Fine delle 3 portate, ricordo noi arrivati alle 13.30 finite le 3 portate alle 14.11,nemmeno andassimo a prendere un aereo, il cameriere si butta subito dicendo :"Caffè?", anche se noi avevamo voglia di dolce abbiamo preferito non dare fastidio alla cucina! Quindi abbiamo detto di sì al caffè e senza nemmeno ascoltare il cameriere ho fatto scegliere a lui l'amaro,perché vedevo fretta La cosa che mi ha fatto più ridere, essendo cuoco, all'arrivo del caffè arriva un'allegra famigliola di 4 persone, li avete fatti accomodare e avete anche detto di sì alla pasta Gluten free del cliente! Quindi vorrei chiedervi, coerenza per i prossimi clienti e professionalità visto che comunque abbiamo pagato un bel conto anche se non ci è piaciuto tanto ciò che avete fatto!! Buon lavoro!

08/05/2025: Restaurant has a great terrasse which is inviting to a good glass of wine. The kitchen is not at the level of the location. The staff is very friendly but the kitchen is on my opinion not able to deliver the quality you can expect for this price.

04/09/2025: I'd known the place for years but had never stopped in. Even though it wasn't on our agenda, we stopped in for a quick bite. We quickly learned it was under new management, managed by Albanians only a few months ago. The products looked inviting at first glance, and the schiacciata dough and pizza slices were good. We ordered two schiacciatas and three pizza slices, a small bottle of water, and a coffee for about €30. Definitely too much. The prices were high, and would have been justified if there had been table service, but instead they hand you a canteen-style tray and you go find a place to sit. I don't think I'll go back.

28/09/2025: Steak was so bad so bad it's crazy to make a steak this bad in Florence, but the worst is service. Please the owner of this place, you need to fire all your staff. They stop taking our order because they watch a sport match in their phone, and they didnt answer our question about our steak that is way too burnt.

24/09/2025: Arrived late at the restaurant at 10:25pm and they were super accommodating in letting us dine until we finished our dinner at 11:20pm. The service was awesome and they were very kind and attentive throughout even though we dined with them super late. Regarding the food, my family did the Florentine steak course for 2 meal. When they brought out the steak, I thought it was HUGE! After eating the steak, I thought it was one of the best steaks I’ve had coming from Los Angeles. It was NOT well done at all like other reviews have said. It came out rare and perfectly cooked in my opinion. The course also came with dessert which was a nice way to close out the steak. The dessert tasted light, not overly sweet or heavy which was a nice way to close out our dinner after having eaten so much steak. We also ordered a cream gnocchi which was alright, but nothing to write home about. It was little cheesy for my personal taste but it was still good nonetheless. Your mileage will vary depending on how much you like cheese. Overall I thought their steak course deal was amazing at $55 for two people considering how much other places charge. I was skeptical reading the reviews at first but I recommend anyone who’s on the fence to give this place a try!

25/07/2025: Posto incantevole soprattutto in estate, si può mangiare del buono pesce e non solo, al fresco della veranda esterna. Menù costruito molto bene con piatti di carne e di pesce. Piatti molto abbondanti e una qualità prezzo, sul menù di pesce, davvero molto azzeccato. L' unica pecca, a mio avviso, che mancano un po' di "spinta" nei condimenti. Gestione giovane, bravissimi davvero tutti! A presto

09/05/2025: Près du Duomo, restaurant traditionnel avec pas mal de tables en terrasse Carte locale "classique" Assiette de charcuteries variées de très bon niveau en entrée Bonnes ravioles à la truffe, bonnes pâtes al pesto Serveur parlant un peu français et de bon conseil pour le choix du vin

10/08/2025: Location eccezionale con un magnifico panorama, e la fiorentina piú buona mangiata in Toscana! Ci siamo stati in due diverse occasioni, lo staff sempre gentilissimo e disponibile, ci siamo affidati a loro anche per la scelta dei vini e sono sempre stati superlativi. Consigliatissimo, speriamo di poter tornare presto!

05/08/2025: Il ristorante si presenta bene immerso com'è nelle colline del Chianti. Quel che gli fa, semmai, difetto e' quel quid che trasforma un mediocre in un buon ristorante. Dunque, pranzo con amici tra piatti di carne e di pesce. Si comincia all'insegna del menù virtuale da visionare mediante utilizzo di un QR da inquadrare con lo smartphone (sic!!). Si prosegue con piatti di carne e pesce, di cui alcuni passabili (maialino in crosta e tagliata di tonno), ed altri del tutto insufficienti (tra cui spicca una frittura mista al limite del rifiuto per la sua eccessiva durezza). Dolci di qualità ordinaria e conto tutto sommato nella norma voto numerico, non espresso in palline: 6- -.

06/06/2025: Assurdo...evitare .pizza schifosamente e anche il resto..per 1 pizza 1 schacciatina quartino di vino e acqua ben 34 euro. Ero in 3 con 2 bimbi piccoli...3 euro a coperto..schifosi!!!!

13/09/2025: Excellent food, unique flavors, moderate prices. Welcoming staff, excellent service. Quick service, relaxed atmosphere. The house wine was very good, and the first course with wild boar ragù was delicious. The wild boar was homemade. And all this with a beautiful view of the square. Highly recommended.
