01/01/2026: I dined here on New Year's Eve 2025, without a reservation. Everything was perfect: the waiter was attentive, extremely kind, and professional; the food was high-quality (appetizers, first courses, and dessert); the place is a gem of historic architecture, elegant and quiet. I honestly don't understand how anyone could give a negative review to such a place (especially since I noticed that the staff showed the same attention to my wife and I as they did to other customers inside the restaurant).
For the food I ate and the remarkable quality of the location and service, I honestly spent less than I expected. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely return at the first opportunity.

Welcoming staff, excellent service. Quick service, relaxed atmosphere.
The house wine was very good, and the first course with wild boar ragù was delicious.
The wild boar was homemade.
And all this with a beautiful view of the square.
Highly recommended.

16/11/2025: A large group of (very hungry!) cyclists couldn't have been more delighted! From the moment we booked, we were offered a decidedly... unusual menu: "meat & fish." No one would have imagined that the evening would be spent happily (simultaneously) enjoying the two "full portion" menus!
What a dinner, guys! Tasty dishes, always served with extraordinary attention, plentiful and authentic. A special mention for the fish (the fried food was excellent!) and the meat-based first courses. And then, the house wine, dessert, coffee, and liqueur were all very good.
The place is particularly suitable for large groups, not only for the space but especially for the service, which was truly efficient and courteous.
The final bill definitely makes us want to come back! Congratulations! Until the next ride, guys!
01/11/2025: We booked our table at 9:00 PM, and they seated us at 9:30 PM.
The glasses were brought at 9:50 PM, but there was still no sign of the cutlery.
When the cutlery arrived, we noticed how unclean it was and politely asked if we could change it. A bit annoyed, they brought it back even dirtier; they never brought it back clean. The food (Margherita pizzas) arrived, the first at 10:00 PM, the last at 10:15 PM. They weren't even that great; the tomato was raw, the mozzarella tasteless. I don't recommend it if you're in a hurry.

28/10/2025: We went to this restaurant with about twenty people for a business dinner and had a truly wonderful time! The food was excellent, high-quality, and generous portions—we ate a lot, and everything was carefully crafted in flavor and presentation.
The prices aren't the cheapest, but for a restaurant of this caliber, they're absolutely appropriate for the quality.
We arrived quite late, but the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, waiting for us to finish our meal even though it was past closing time.
We were very happy with everything, from the welcome to the food. Highly recommended! 🍷🍖
12/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday. It's a very nice and quaint place, but alas, my experience wasn't as good. First of all, the staff's hospitality was terrible; we felt like outcasts, treated like aliens. As for the food, I come from the homeland of porcini mushrooms, and their pasta with porcini mushrooms had nothing but mushroom cream. The Florentine steak was very difficult to cut, so it wasn't tender and juicy, but very rubbery. I definitely won't be returning!

23/05/2025: Locale alla vecchia maniera, casalingo e accogliente. Il menù è ovviamente tipicamente toscano e ma da vegetariana sono riuscita comunque a scegliere. La qualità è eccellente, le porzioni giuste. Antipasti a 8€ primi sui 15€ e secondi sui 18€. Rapporto qualita prezzo eccellente!!!
19/05/2025: Ho mangiato da sola in questo ristorante storico.
AMBIENTE:Il locale è molto bello, che sa di antico. Due salette, tavoli spartani con tovagliette e personale gentissimo.
CIBO:Non ho mangiato molto perché la loro proposta è diversa da quello che volevo io per cena. Oltre ai piatti nel menù c'erano anche piatti del giorno come il collo di anatra ripieno e le fave fresche con il pecorino.
RAPPORTO QUALITA'/PREZZO: essendo in centro città mi sembra un costo ragionevole e non eccessivo
Bellissimo locale e ottima la loro zuppa tipo ribollita

27/04/2025: Trattoria onestissima, dove provare i sapori di una volta. Porzioni generose e buona qualità della materia prima. In tre (compreso un bambino) abbiamo optato per un antipasto toscano (molto ricco), uno spaghetto alla carrettiera (la porzione era per due ma in tre ci abbiamo manfiato alla grande) e una porzione di patate e verdure al forno (gustosissime). Mezzo litro di vino, acqua e caffè per un contro poco al di sotto dei 60 euro. Consigliatissimo. La zona è molto tranquilla, fuori dal centro di Empoli e facilmente raggiungibile dalla SGC FI.PI.LI.
22/03/2025: Tutto molto buono, cucina tipica Toscana, dai sapori antichi. Consiglio per qualsiasi occasione. Ampio parcheggio privato interno.

26/05/2025: Mi esposa y yo fuimos a Terrae como la última cena en un viaje a Florencia. Quedamos impresionados por los sabores increíbles durante toda la comida. Algunos aspectos destacados fueron el aperitivo de anguila con zanahorias, la pasta con conejo y la pintada toscana rellena. Además de la comida fantástica era el servicio excepcional del personal. Si estás en Florencia y tienes tiempo para una gran noche de fiesta, no puedo recomendar Terrae lo suficientemente!
04/05/2025: Il Terrae restaurant è il posto giusto se volete regalarvi una esperienza enogastronomica di altissimo livello nella splendida cornice dello storico Palazzo Gaddi, a pochi passi dal Duomo.
Sono stata al Terrae per cena assieme ad un'amica e ci siamo affidate completamente al Resident Chef Salvatore Canargiu e alla Restaurant Manager e Sommelière Antonella Sinisgallo, scegliendo il tasting menu da sei portate e wine pairing.
Eleganza, gusto e materie prime di altissima qualità hanno reso ogni portata un momento di genuino piacere dei sensi, il tutto esaltato da un servizio impeccabile e cortese.
Degli antipasti ho apprezzato particolarmente l'anguilla affumicata e il velo di seppia ripieno, dei primi i bottoni in zuppa di mare e il dessert alla ricotta.
Infine, degna di nota è la selezione di formaggi con cui abbiamo concluso la nostra cena.
Avremmo onestamente sperato che l'esperienza non si concludesse mai e se il poeta Jhon Milton che usava frequentare il Palazzo scrisse di un paradiso perduto, cenare al Terrae è sicuramente un paradiso ritrovato!
Auguro al giovane e professionale Staff del Terrae di ottenere presto i riconoscimenti che merita.
