08/12/2025: I returned to this restaurant because I've always eaten quality food there... unfortunately, today I'm here having to change my mind. It was a nasty surprise... low-quality food... mushrooms full of water, pici with bad ragu, and above all, au gratin fish passed off as grilled and above all, not good... I'm sorry to write this because we all work... but I expect quality... also because you can't eat bad food because you risk making people sick... BEWARE

07/12/2025: I'll start by saying we've always been to Oreste Campagna over the years, but now, with the new management, it seems absurd to me, with all due respect, to pay: €2.50 for a coffee, which was also poorly made, considering I've worked in the restaurant business for years and can say this with certainty without malice. It was really watered down (there was no purge, for example). This price isn't even in the center of Florence. Embarrassing. €10 for two canned Cokes. And I'm only talking about the prices of the drinks because I find them more outrageous than the food. It's not surprising, however, why on a Sunday lunch there were just me, my boyfriend, and a large table. I strongly recommend checking the prices again because it's unthinkable to have an experience like that in a quiet area like Legri. As for the rest, there's nothing to complain about regarding the service and food, so I'm sorry it fell apart at the last minute. I hope my review is taken as constructive criticism because that place deserves a lot.

06/12/2025: We ate here on a Saturday for lunch because it was one of the few places without huge lines at the entrance, and we were so surprised! Maybe it's not very well-known yet, which is why it wasn't crowded, but I highly recommend it. We had a centerpiece appetizer and various first courses (ravioli with butter and sage, tagliatelle with ragù, gnocchi with provola and speck, and spaghetti with truffle and sausage sauce), all very, very good! The service was also super attentive and courteous. We paid an average of €25 per person, so I'd say it's super fair. I recommend it!! 👌🏻

28/11/2025: We ate at this lovely place just steps from the center. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The experience of assembling the platter, cutting the meat and seasoning it with oil, salt, and pepper right at the table, in front of the guests, was truly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Il Pinone. A historic restaurant on Montalbano. The furnishings are a bit dated, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, offering a wonderful view. Traditional Tuscan cuisine with a meat and fish menu. Friendly and efficient service. This time we opted for the meat menu and took advantage of the availability of local porcini mushrooms. Everything was delicious. The ingredients are treated with care. The wait times, considering the restaurant was full, were absolutely appropriate for freshly prepared dishes. Special mention goes to the desserts prepared by Ilenia. We were full, but we couldn't say no, and we were right. A delicious warm cheesecake, an exquisite chocolate mousse, and Ilenia even let us try her salted caramel brittle... Super! Absolutely excellent value. Then we sat on the terrace to eat like lizards. Ample parking under the pine trees. Great in the summer for a bit of cool air. I could have posted photos of the dishes, but you know, I won't. Why? Because you have to come. Enjoy your meal.

21/09/2025: A great lunch to celebrate my grandparents' birthday. The food was very well prepared. Excellent fried mushrooms, tortelli mugellani, and tagliatelle. Attentive and friendly service. Great for a Sunday lunch!

02/06/2025: Da fiorentino consiglio sicuramente questo locale con cucina tipica toscana di alta qualità e un servizio super simpatico. Prezzi ottimi in san Niccolò, quartiere storico fiorentino.

15/06/2025: Abbiamo chiamato ahimè, alle 13 per chiedere se fosse possibile un tavolo per le 13.30,il cameriere, giustamente ci ha detto che la cucina chiude alle 14,quindi abbiamo fatto il prima possibile ad arrivare in questa splendida location! All'arrivo ci hanno detto subito che il menù era quello scritto su un tabellone e di fare in fretta nelle scelte, rimembrando che la cucina stava per chiudere! Scegliamo in piedi ma, se volevano far veloce potevano anche darci la carta dei vini... Prendiamo: 1 tagliere Salumi e formaggi 1 gnocco 1raviolo(l'unica cosa positiva forse, dico forse perché alla pasta mancava qualche minuto ancora 1 tagliata al sangue ma servita media Partiamo dal tagliere, per 20 euro poco più o poco meno ti aspetti qualità o quantità ma a dire la verità qualità non mi sembrava tanto eccezionale e quantità non ne parliamo proprio che erano 2 fette di crudo, 2 di salame, 2 di coppa 3 tipi di Pecorini 1 triangolino a pecorino, che quasi non riuscivo a dividerlo con la mia ragazza Lo gnocco si attaccava al palato, cosa irritante ed il raviolo era quasi crudo, tutto ciò perché i cuochi dovevano andare a casa Li capisco, faccio lo stesso mestiere, ma ricordo loro che le persone pagano per andare a mangiare!! Fine delle 3 portate, ricordo noi arrivati alle 13.30 finite le 3 portate alle 14.11,nemmeno andassimo a prendere un aereo, il cameriere si butta subito dicendo :"Caffè?", anche se noi avevamo voglia di dolce abbiamo preferito non dare fastidio alla cucina! Quindi abbiamo detto di sì al caffè e senza nemmeno ascoltare il cameriere ho fatto scegliere a lui l'amaro,perché vedevo fretta La cosa che mi ha fatto più ridere, essendo cuoco, all'arrivo del caffè arriva un'allegra famigliola di 4 persone, li avete fatti accomodare e avete anche detto di sì alla pasta Gluten free del cliente! Quindi vorrei chiedervi, coerenza per i prossimi clienti e professionalità visto che comunque abbiamo pagato un bel conto anche se non ci è piaciuto tanto ciò che avete fatto!! Buon lavoro!

04/09/2025: I'd known the place for years but had never stopped in. Even though it wasn't on our agenda, we stopped in for a quick bite. We quickly learned it was under new management, managed by Albanians only a few months ago. The products looked inviting at first glance, and the schiacciata dough and pizza slices were good. We ordered two schiacciatas and three pizza slices, a small bottle of water, and a coffee for about €30. Definitely too much. The prices were high, and would have been justified if there had been table service, but instead they hand you a canteen-style tray and you go find a place to sit. I don't think I'll go back.

05/12/2025: Enchanting, typically Tuscan atmosphere. Excellent cuisine with reinterpretations of traditional dishes and surprises and surprises, which I won't reveal now. Go there and bring friends, and it's an opportunity for an important invitation where you will surely make a great impression. I can't say more than that... as always, I say MUST VISIT.

11/11/2025: A shore excursion took us here for lunch. It borders the main cathedral as others have said which is nice and to me the atmosphere is what I'd expect for an Italian restaurant. The inside also was well maintained and clean along with the restrooms. The service was fine, it was a large group of about 40, and they did a good job of quickly serving everyone. While we didn't get to choose from the menu, the meal included: half bolognese and half pesto pasta, bread, red and white wine, and olive oil on request. Portions were generous. Also dessert wine and biscotti for dipping. Everything was enjoyable, I liked the pesto best; though can't say it's the best Italian ever overall it was a nice experience.

25/07/2025: Posto incantevole soprattutto in estate, si può mangiare del buono pesce e non solo, al fresco della veranda esterna. Menù costruito molto bene con piatti di carne e di pesce. Piatti molto abbondanti e una qualità prezzo, sul menù di pesce, davvero molto azzeccato. L' unica pecca, a mio avviso, che mancano un po' di "spinta" nei condimenti. Gestione giovane, bravissimi davvero tutti! A presto

14/07/2025: Abbiamo prenotato per cena con amici e siamo stati veramente benissimo. Locale immenso nei tipici paesaggi toscani. Personale gentile e disponibile. Piatti ottimi e prezzi democratici.

13/09/2025: Excellent food, unique flavors, moderate prices. Welcoming staff, excellent service. Quick service, relaxed atmosphere. The house wine was very good, and the first course with wild boar ragù was delicious. The wild boar was homemade. And all this with a beautiful view of the square. Highly recommended.

10/08/2025: Location eccezionale con un magnifico panorama, e la fiorentina piú buona mangiata in Toscana! Ci siamo stati in due diverse occasioni, lo staff sempre gentilissimo e disponibile, ci siamo affidati a loro anche per la scelta dei vini e sono sempre stati superlativi. Consigliatissimo, speriamo di poter tornare presto!

05/08/2025: Il ristorante si presenta bene immerso com'è nelle colline del Chianti. Quel che gli fa, semmai, difetto e' quel quid che trasforma un mediocre in un buon ristorante. Dunque, pranzo con amici tra piatti di carne e di pesce. Si comincia all'insegna del menù virtuale da visionare mediante utilizzo di un QR da inquadrare con lo smartphone (sic!!). Si prosegue con piatti di carne e pesce, di cui alcuni passabili (maialino in crosta e tagliata di tonno), ed altri del tutto insufficienti (tra cui spicca una frittura mista al limite del rifiuto per la sua eccessiva durezza). Dolci di qualità ordinaria e conto tutto sommato nella norma voto numerico, non espresso in palline: 6- -.

16/11/2025: A large group of (very hungry!) cyclists couldn't have been more delighted! From the moment we booked, we were offered a decidedly... unusual menu: "meat & fish." No one would have imagined that the evening would be spent happily (simultaneously) enjoying the two "full portion" menus! What a dinner, guys! Tasty dishes, always served with extraordinary attention, plentiful and authentic. A special mention for the fish (the fried food was excellent!) and the meat-based first courses. And then, the house wine, dessert, coffee, and liqueur were all very good. The place is particularly suitable for large groups, not only for the space but especially for the service, which was truly efficient and courteous. The final bill definitely makes us want to come back! Congratulations! Until the next ride, guys!

01/11/2025: We booked our table at 9:00 PM, and they seated us at 9:30 PM. The glasses were brought at 9:50 PM, but there was still no sign of the cutlery. When the cutlery arrived, we noticed how unclean it was and politely asked if we could change it. A bit annoyed, they brought it back even dirtier; they never brought it back clean. The food (Margherita pizzas) arrived, the first at 10:00 PM, the last at 10:15 PM. They weren't even that great; the tomato was raw, the mozzarella tasteless. I don't recommend it if you're in a hurry.

02/08/2025: Bella serata tra amici, anche se non avevano segnato il tavolo, son riusciti a trovarne uno. Pizza molto buona e ottimi anche i dolci. Location molto bella immersa nel verde. Staff gentile e cordiale. Torneremo sicuramente a provare il ristorante.

31/07/2025: Non capisco come fanno a scrivere di mangiare bene quando ti fanno una cacio e pepe col burro per dirne una su tante, pietanze portate in ritardo, personale scortese e conto molto caro. Scansate questo ristorante se così si può chiamare
