23/01/2026: We ate here last night. The atmosphere was very subdued, with soft lighting and pleasant background music. We had the artichoke flan, the pici cacio e pepe, the cheek with mashed potatoes, and two different desserts...all delicious! I didn't use a knife to eat the cheek... The prices were more than reasonable. All "topped off" by a very kind owner who had already brought water for our dog in no time... Highly recommended!!!!
22/01/2026: Good food, cozy atmosphere in a busy street. Limited vegetarian options, but they were all tasty. We had the artichoke flan as appetizer, then local Senese soup, and finally the ravioli. These were the only veg dishes on their menu. All delicious. Topped it off with panacotta and the chocolate cake, both excellent.

07/03/2026: Too bad. Until recently, they told me it was a good restaurant, now... For God's sake. I have Spanish friends and I know how they eat in Spain, so I speak with knowledge of the facts. Let's start with the menu: it's okay that the concept may have been adapted, but in a Spanish restaurant I don't expect to find carbonara or pasta alla sorrentina among the first courses, so I think: "Is this a way to meet demand?" Then I continue browsing and find serious inconsistencies. Okay, I'll have something typical: polpo a la Gallega (Galician-style octopus, served with potatoes and pimenton - paprika -)... so four octopus tentacles on five slices of boiled potato with low-quality paprika thrown in by the bucketload. Not a drizzle of oil, not a pinch of salt. A bland dish, without identity, without flavor. To be honest, not even in a canteen does one eat so blandly (and not for free, mind you, €10 a portion). Okay, let's see the broken egg (an egg cooked a certain way, with prosciutto and sliced ​​potatoes, as per the original recipe). A simple fried egg is brought with pre-fried potato sticks and three slices of prosciutto on top (also not cheap: €10). Okay, let's get down to the wine; a bottle of Ribolla, a white wine, was warm. Extra virgin olive oil from Carrefour. In short, for the price, I expected more, a more thoughtful and refined dish, but instead, it was a disappointment on all fronts. The ambiance would even be nice if it weren't for the pieces of sheet metal here and there, the dusty fake vegetation, and the decor that's meant to look radical chic but is actually a jumble of metal chairs and tables mixed with shoddy IKEA furniture. Hasta luego... Never again.
22/02/2026: It was a lovely discovery in Empoli, near the station. The place is meticulously maintained and features sophisticated, trendy decor. Excellent for an aperitif with tapas.

02/08/2025: Locale molto ampio, era sabato sera e quindi molto frequentato.Sorvolo sulla cameriera che ci ha lanciato il menu' ,perché il cameriere giovane ci ha serviti e coccolati per tutta la serata.Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti misti di salumi e bruschette, 1 primo di pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale buonissimi e un filetto di qualità eccellente; 1 porzione di patate al forno (nella media) e 2 tiramisù squisiti.C'è un camino dove si preparano bistecche e carni alla brace.Il servizio velocissimo.Ci tornerei.Consigliato.
24/07/2025: Buona cucina locale con una vista che vale il viaggio (consigliato prenotare il tavolo sulla terrazza panoramica). Buono anche il servizio e prezzi più che onesti.

The house wine was very good, and the first course with wild boar ragù was delicious. The wild boar was homemade. And all this with a beautiful view of the square. Highly recommended.

The crostini nero was clearly a discount store product, the pici were passed off as garlic sauce, but unfortunately, they didn't contain garlic, just lots of garlic. The grated parmesan cheese was smelly and rancid, the bathroom was dirty, the napkins were greasy, and to top it off, the bill was high. Absolutely not recommended.

15/07/2025: Vi fik anbefalet Pienza som udflugtmål. Vi kørte dertil og vi blev ikke skuffet. Super smuk og hyggelig sted og sikke en udsigt. Vi fandt denne lille restaurant og vi blev enig om at her skulle frokosten indtages, der var skygge. Vi valgte to forskellige traditionelle retter, begge vældig gode og velsmagende. Vi valgte en flaske hvidvin til, der var et godt udvalg af vine. Tjeneren denne eftermiddag var meget kompetent og tilstede.
12/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato qui due sere e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Dagli antipasti ai pici. Tutto squisito. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.
