Caffe Casolani In Casole d'elsa

We arrived without booking and within an aperitif the long table was set for us in the first of the two rooms available in the restaurant, which is warm and welcoming. The second room, overlooking a small external window, is perhaps even more characteristic and intimate. The owners welcomed us with kindness and helpfulness and followed us in choosing the menu: we had tagliolini with pheasant ragù and a cheek stew, both very tasty and accompanied by excellent wine. We had a good time and honestly, despite some reviews perhaps saying so, I didn't really have the feeling of a place "for tourists", but rather it seemed like a place where the traveler can refresh himself and taste traditional local recipes with the certainty of being pampered. Oh my gosh this place is amazing! We were looking for something for dinner and this restaurant was suggested to us. We weren’t sure at first because the menu looked a little fancy for what we were looking for, but this was some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. The group of us had a couple pasta dishes including beef ragu, bean soup, and a few desserts. Everything was spectacular and probably the ragu might be the best pasta dish I’ve ever tasted. The environment was lovely and the staff was so kind to us. Definitely coming back for more! There is a free parking lot below the restaurant that made it easy to walk to as well.

Volendo vedere il presepe vivente, abbiamo deciso di ritornare a mangiare per l'ennesima volta in questo locale che frequentiamo da parecchi anni ormai. Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto splendidamente e grazie per il trattamento di favore che mi avete riservato, ritornerò perché mi fate sentire a casa. Bravissimi.
